Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 178: Chapter 178: Give an Inch, Take a Mile

At that moment, Ye Haochuan suddenly realized that not far from where he was about to land, there were two or three crooked-neck trees.

Moved by an idea, Ye Haochuan fiercely kicked his legs to push off, and with a swoosh, he and Kou Jing reached above the crooked-neck trees.

Crack!

A series of branches broke as if they were dry twigs, and their fall began to slow down continuously.

Of course, Ye Haochuan’s skin was tough, and his bones strong, and he bore the brunt of the tremendous impact all by himself.

Bang!

When they finally landed, Ye Haochuan felt his whole body jolt violently, the vibration almost enough to break his spine!

Afterward, pain started to continuously stimulate his nerves and then further assaulted his brain, nearly causing him to faint from the agony.

At this moment, Kou Jing also came to her senses from the shock of a narrow brush with death.

She was injured too, but compared to Ye Haochuan, who was covered in wounds, they were just superficial and not serious.

Her clothes were torn in many places with long scratches, tattered and in shambles, and her head, face, and body were all covered in dust and some withered grass.

Especially her upper body’s thin-as-a-cicada’s-wing white chiffon blouse, which was now completely torn up.

However, because she had rolled down the hillside and her body was covered in cuts, the visible bloodstains were shocking and pitiful to behold.

The wide-legged bell-bottoms she wore on her lower body met the same fate, torn up to reveal strips of flesh, with her knees bruised black and blue.

As for the pair of crystal high-heeled sandals she had been wearing, they were long gone, leaving her delicate little feet with minor scratches, nothing severe.

Seeing she had miraculously survived, Kou Jing couldn’t express how grateful she felt at this moment.

However, upon seeing Ye Haochuan’s injuries, she was startled, but remembering how he had bravely jumped from the high cliff to save her, she was overwhelmed with emotion.

This guy might be a bit lecherous, but his fearless and brave act just now was enough to drastically change her impression of him.

Bearing the pain all over her body, Kou Jing crawled over to him using her hands and feet, anxiously saying, ”Doctor Ye, Doctor Ye, how are you?”

Ye Haochuan gritted his teeth and said, ”I’m all right, it just feels like my body’s fallen apart... Come on, Doctor Kou, help me up.”

”Oh.”

Kou Jing responded, bending down to pillow his head in her elbow, and with all her strength, tried to help him up.

Normally, Ye Haochuan would need just a little effort to sit up by leveraging his strength; however, the moment he was held in her embrace, a faint fragrance wafted into his nostrils.

This fragrance wasn’t from any perfume; it was the fresh scent of laundry detergent, refreshing and intoxicating, and it invigorated Ye Haochuan’s spirits. Damn, it was so fragrant.

In his bewitched state, Ye Haochuan’s peripheral vision also caught a glimpse of her exquisite beauty, which was too delightful to ignore. How could he pass up such an excellent opportunity? Of course, he had to feast his eyes!

But how could he feast his eyes?

By feigning weakness, of course.

Actually, Kou Jing had tried several times to help him up but could not manage it, thinking to herself, how heavy can this guy be?

”How are you feeling now?” Kou Jing asked casually.

”Big!” Then came the sound of Ye Haochuan swallowing his saliva.

Kou Jing was baffled. What’s big?

In her bewilderment, she looked down and just caught a glimpse of his eyes, staring at her in a daze, drool hanging three feet long.

”Hey, you...”

Kou Jing’s cheeks flushed instantly, and she squealed like a startled rabbit.

Caught peeping red-handed, Ye Haochuan, though thick-skinned, couldn’t help but blush and chuckled awkwardly, ”Sorry, sorry, I didn’t see anything just now, didn’t see anything...”

Didn’t see anything? Who’s he trying to fool!

Kou Jing’s pretty face turned crimson with embarrassment, feeling exceedingly shy. In her panic, she meant to pull her hand back, to cover herself.

”Don’t look anymore, or I’ll gouge out your eyeballs,” Kou Jing threatened, her face flushed with shame.

”Isn’t that a bit too ruthless?” Ye Haochuan complained, ”It’s not like I wanted to look, who’s to blame, huh?”

Humiliated to the point of death, Kou Jing glared at him and said, ”And you’re still talking...”

No man had ever ogled her so blatantly. Even her ex, Huo Wendong, hadn’t been this unrestrained. And yet, today, she had let Ye Haochuan, this big lecher, take advantage of her.

”Okay, okay, I won’t look, but thinking about it is still okay, right?” Ye Haochuan chuckled lewdly.

This bastard, injured like this and still so shameless!

Kou Jing was so angry she gritted her teeth, almost wishing she could slap him on the spot as she scolded, ”No, it’s not okay to even think about it.”

Man, what a tyrant, can’t even think about it?

Ye Haochuan was speechless, then suddenly his eyes shifted, he sighed and said, ”Okay, fine, I won’t think about it. Given how I am today, I’m probably not going to make it...”

At his words, Kou Jing’s delicate body shook. Thinking about how he had thrown himself into danger for her, not caring for his own life, she softened, her eyes swiftly filling with tears.

”All right, if you want to think about it, just think about it...” Kou Jing compromised helplessly.

But for some reason, as she said this, the blush on her face deepened.

Ye Haochuan chuckled internally, just thinking about it won’t do. I’ve got to have a few more looks, who’s afraid of who?

”Ah, forget it, it’s all gone from my mind now, no more thoughts left,” Ye Haochuan said, then started to plead pitifully, ”How about it, Doctor Kou, let me have one more look, and then I can die without any regrets.”

”What?” Kou Jing was stunned for a moment; this guy was really pushing his luck.

”What’s wrong? Not willing?” Ye Haochuan lamented as if mourning his fate, ”I’m about to die here, and you can’t even fulfill this one small wish of mine? Oh heavens, what sins have I committed? Why jump off a cliff, why save someone? Now look at what’s happened, my life is on the line, poor me who had eighteen lovers, all widowed now...”

Hearing this, Kou Jing felt all mixed up inside. After a fierce inner struggle, her eyes red, she bit her lip and said, ”You... you stop it, if you really want to look, then... go ahead.”
