Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 190: Chapter 190 Special Idea

So, what if she’s a bit flat-chested? What in the world are you constantly fantasizing about, you big pervert?

Chen Yushan rolled her eyes at Ye Haochuan with a huff, ”What’s it got to do with me?”

Arguing isn’t scary, it’s the silent treatment that is!

Seeing that she was willing to engage with him, and her tone was less aggressive than before, Ye Haochuan relaxed a bit and chuckled, ”How can it not have something to do with you? Didn’t you hear my student call you ’Master’s wife’?”

It then dawned on Chen Yushan that the female reporter was referring to her as ’Master’s wife’. Her face flushed with a burst of red, she said, ”What nonsense is she spouting? How am I her ’Master’s wife’? If she’s looking for a ’Master’s wife’, she should go find that Fox Enchantress Chairman.”

The Fox Enchantress Chairman?

Ye Haochuan was stunned for a moment before he realized what she meant, thinking, Wow, what did Xiao Haimei ever do to you to warrant such mockery as the ’Fox Enchantress’?

However, though he felt somewhat indignant on Xiao Haimei’s behalf, to be fair, with her charm that seemed to stem from deep within her bones, calling her the ’Fox Enchantress’ was actually quite fitting.

Clearing his throat, Ye Haochuan sighed and said, ”Yushan, that comment of yours is a bit heartless, don’t you think? As soon as I heard you were taken hostage by robbers, I rushed over here without a second thought to save you, and you can’t even have a proper conversation with me?”

Hearing him say this, Chen Yushan softened a bit, giving him a resentful look, she bit her lip and said, ”I’m going to ask you a question, and you have to answer honestly.”

Heh, there’s a chance!

Ye Haochuan curled his lip, ”Don’t just talk about one question — ten, a hundred, as long as I know the answer, I’ll tell you everything. Heh heh, ask Google for worldly matters, ask Baidu for life’s trivia, ask Tianya for bedroom insights, ask Mop for the lewdest secrets, and for life’s big questions, ask me!”

All this nonsense; and life’s big questions, ask you? Who do you think you are, you’re so annoying!

Chen Yushan glared at him irritably and demanded, ”Tell me, what exactly is your relationship with that Fox Enchantress Chairman?”

”The relationship between an employee and a boss,” Ye Haochuan honestly replied.

Of course, his relationship with Xiao Haimei was indeed that of an employee and a boss, he could honestly answer that.

”Stop trying to fool me! From my point of view, I’m afraid it’s not just an employee-boss relationship, is it?” Chen Yushan snorted, her piercing eyes gleaming with sharpness.

”Ah, Yushan, you’re really something, you even figured that out?” Ye Haochuan started shaking his head with feigned remorse, ”Ah, such a failure, I’ve really botched it.”

At this, tears suddenly welled up in Chen Yushan’s eyes, and through gritted teeth she said, ”You... you admit it?”

”Alright, since you’ve seen through it, I’ll just tell you the truth... My relationship with Chairman Xiao is not just that of an employee and a boss, but also of a sister and a brother.”

”A sister and a brother?”

Chen Yushan was taken aback for a moment, she hadn’t expected Ye Haochuan to describe their relationship as a brother-sister one.

”Yes, a sister and a brother relationship!”

In fact, Ye Haochuan was being honest, as his interactions with Xiao Haimei had always been on the terms of brother-sister.

Chen Yushan felt a slight sense of relief and even a secret delight. If that was the case, then the intimate manner she witnessed between him and the Fox Enchantress Chairman the previous night could be understood.

After all, a woman who’d gone through the tragic ordeal of almost being violated was understandably in a low state, needing comfort. Thus, her clinging closely to Ye Haochuan last night... was normal.

She could relate to that point all too well, having just narrowly escaped the clutches of the one-eyed bandit herself.

However, there was always a bit of unease in her heart, so she asked again, ”So, are you guys blood siblings?”

”Of course not.”

Ye Haochuan promptly denied it, then went on to tell her about how, after breaking up with his ex-girlfriend, he was kindly taken in by Xiao Haimei.

”In my heart, Sister Mei is my benefactor. Without her goodwill back then, where would I be today?”

Ye Haochuan put on a virtuous front, but inwardly, he was smugly wanting to laugh. So what if we’re ’siblings’? I still took the prize! Not just that, I even knocked her down!

Observing his solemn oath, Chen Yushan’s suspicions faded, and her mood improved a great deal. Looking at him tenderly, she said, ”Then... since you’re not actually siblings, do you have... you know, special thoughts about her?”

Special thoughts?

Ye Haochuan couldn’t help but want to laugh. What special thoughts? You suspect there’s something fishy between Sister Mei and me, so just spit it out! Oh no, yuck, what am I saying? What a slip of the tongue!

”Well, as you know, I’m a normal man, and Sister Mei is so stunningly beautiful, it’s impossible not to have... some special thoughts,” he said.

”What?” Chen Yushan’s pretty face changed slightly.

Ye Haochuan ignored her reaction and quickly changed the subject, ”But so what if I have special thoughts? She’s the precious daughter of a wealthy family, the esteemed Chairman of Haishan University, and what am I? A mere school doctor. Do you think it’s feasible? Even if I had thoughts, they could only be about an ordinary beauty like you, so we would be a good match, right?”

As she heard him admit that his thoughts were only for her, Chen Yushan’s face flushed red, and her heart started pounding.

This jerk, always playing with words, talking about being a good match. My foot, a good match!

But before she could relax a little, Ye Haochuan began to brag again, ”However, Yushan, you also know that I have this tiny flaw—my charm is simply too overwhelming. Any woman who sees me just can’t help being attracted to me; I try to resist but to no avail!”

Upon hearing this, Chen Yushan really felt an urge to rip his mouth apart. What overwhelming charm, clearly just an excuse for his philandering ways!

But on self-reflection, wasn’t she deeply attracted to him too, feeling down and disinterested in food and drink since last night?

Yet deep down, she silently vowed, So what if you’re a gorgeous chairwoman? Apart from my family background, in what way am I inferior to you? Just wait and see; I won’t let you steal the man I have my eyes on, you Fox Enchantress!

”What? You don’t believe it? Take my female disciple from earlier, for example. She insisted on taking me as her master. Sigh, I’ve tried so hard to contain my charm, but now it seems like a complete failure...”

Seeing him sighing and lamenting, Chen Yushan couldn’t hold back her laughter any longer and let out a giggle, her eyes teasing, ”Do you have any shame at all? I’ve never seen anyone boast about themselves like you do.”

With her finally showing a radiant smile, Ye Haochuan let out a sigh of relief. Damn, being a man is freaking hard; without a few slick words, I really couldn’t hold it together!

At that moment, Chen Yushan abruptly stopped laughing and said, ”Alright, since you’ve confessed so frankly, I’ll let you off the hook today. Now come with me to my parents’ house. They’ve specially prepared a lavish meal to celebrate for me.”

Ye Haochuan had already promised Chen Yushan’s mother, so without hesitation, he agreed.

The two then went downstairs, where they came across Luo Yong, who was dealing with the aftermath. After Chen Yushan greeted him, she took Ye Haochuan to a police car assigned to her and drove home.

However, midway through the journey, the phone Ye Haochuan was using for navigation rang.

Chen Yushan glanced at the caller ID and couldn’t help but snort softly, Another Fox Enchantress!
