Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1037: Chapter 11: Charge In!

”Lord, the remnants of the Rong Bo Fleet have been completely scattered, with two hundred and twenty-one ships surrendering, twenty destroyed by us, and most of the others fleeing deep into the starry sky. Because of unfamiliarity with the terrain, I strictly prohibited the fleet from pursuing!”

”Well done.”

Inside a seemingly ordinary battleship, Big Mosquito and Kama were having a discussion.

At this moment, the battle in the starry sky was gradually coming to an end, and under the arrival of Jia Yan, the Giant Mosquito Fleet had miraculously turned the tide and defeated the entire Rong Bo Fleet!

Everyone knew that this was because the enemy’s leader had been killed by Jia Yan in one fell swoop, leading to their self-collapse. Had they had a strong figure like Rong Bo with some authority to command, it is hard to say who would have won or lost, or whether the Giant Mosquito Fleet could have even escaped.

With this great victory, the original Giant Mosquito Fleet, possessing only about one hundred battleships, had expanded by more than two hundred twenty superior battleships, whose performances surpassed those of the Giant Mosquito Fleet, greatly boosting the overall strength of the fleet!

”Boss, without your strength aiding us, we couldn’t have possibly won. Truly, under the command of such a Strong One as you, a powerful fleet can emerge!” Kama looked at Jia Yan, her face flushed with excitement.

You see, she had once again experienced the sensation of failure in the previous battle. Kama was familiar with this feeling. Years ago, she had fled to the Desolate Star System because of a defeat.

Previously, she had thought she would face a similar disastrous defeat again, but unexpectedly, her new boss had single-handedly turned the situation around with his own power. For Kama, this kind of battle was unprecedented, and it was the first time she felt the security of having a Strong One’s protection!

”Hehe, your command was also not bad, although I don’t understand command, yet your art of command is so clear even to me, far surpassing those ordinary captains!” Jia Yan said to Kama with a smile brimming with laughter, after all, praising someone costs nothing.

In fact, his praise was not misplaced. In this attack and defense battle, the Giant Mosquito Fleet, outnumbered almost ten to one by the enemy, had managed to wait for Jia Yan’s reversal without losing a single battleship, thanks in no small part to Kama’s command ability. It is noteworthy that she commanded a group of subordinates who were still unfamiliar with close-range combat!

”By the way, Lord, the enemy commander has also been captured just now. He was unlucky; his battleship had a rare engine failure at a critical moment. I hope, Lord, that you could meet him personally. This commander’s ability must be no less than mine, his command was blocked by me because the enemy used Kuranel Tactics, uh, you might not understand. The meaning of Kuranel Tactics is to annihilate the enemy army without sustaining significant losses. If not for your appearance, boss, his tactics might have succeeded,” Kama said.

”Oh? So, this commander’s command ability is not bad either? Alright, have him come over, I’d like to ask him about the exploration of this starry sky by Rong Bo,” Jia Yan said, suddenly interested.

Not long after, a creature, not much different in stature from ordinary Earth people, was brought before Jia Yan.

”Hello, Lord Jia Yan. My name is Mo Ke.” The creature looked like a dragonfly, and its large compound eyes seemed to carry some unusual emotions.

”Hehe, I was just thinking about a question, and now seeing you, I understand. You were intentionally captured, weren’t you?” Jia Yan did not respond to the other’s words, merely stating faintly.

This dragonfly-like monster was immediately shocked!

”Don’t rush to refute, I may not be as talented in fleet command as you are, but that doesn’t mean I’m a fool. Regarding your situation, I also took a look just now. Your battleship purposefully fell to the rear during the escape and especially into the most fiercely pursued area by our battleships. To Kama, it might seem coincidental, but to me, it’s quite clear!” Jia Yan said, smiling slightly at the creature.

The dragonfly-like monster was stunned for a moment, then resignedly shook its head, chuckling bitterly, ”Indeed, Lord Rong Bo’s loss was not unjustified; with just this sharp mind, he was no match for you!”

Jia Yan didn’t respond directly; frankly, Rong Bo’s intelligence was not poor, so hearing this monster belittle his fallen leader right after the latter’s death displeased him somewhat.

”Tell me, why did you intentionally let yourself be captured, what are you trying to do?” Jia Yan asked softly.

Hearing Jia Yan ask this, the monster’s heart trembled, feeling as if his every thought had been seen through by the other, and he immediately disclosed without concealing.

”Lord, about Lord Rong Bo... no, about Rong Bo, I have been dissatisfied with him for a long time. He is strong, but he is too old and his perspective too narrow, only wanting to achieve stellar level in this Chaos Starfield. Unfortunately, my family and life were in his hands, so if I hadn’t worked for him, the consequences would have been dire. Just now, Lord, when you bravely killed Rong Bo, I had already made up my mind; that is to serve a young and powerful Strong One like you, hence my intention to be captured deliberately! May I ask, Lord, would you take me in?”
