Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1008: Chapter 1 Departure. [Subscribe]_2

”Goodbye, my first foothold in the starry sky, Desolate Star System!”

Far away, Jia Yan gazed at the scenery receding behind him from his own battleship, sighing with emotion.

And Kama piloted the Ang Libai, a spaceship that managed to include an extra set of defense and attack systems after numerous instructions to the pilot for methodical adjustments, due to a significant input of resources. Although it still couldn’t compare to the more advanced small battleships, it now possessed greater offensive and defensive abilities. Together with its unique space jump stunt, it remained a decent ship, so Kama continued to treat it as his personal vehicle.

As for Jia Yan, although he too wanted to use the Ang Libai, considering his own technology and the relatively weaker defenses and offense of the Ang Libai, he abandoned the idea and directly used the single-person battleship that the top ten warriors had sent him.

”Look carefully at the Desolate Star System, everyone, especially those of you born here. You might never come back for the rest of your lives. If you don’t look now, you will never have another chance!” Kama’s carefree voice rang through the communicators, echoing inside all the battleships and spaceships.

Most of the soldiers in the Giant Mosquito Fleet actually grew up in the Desolate Star System. Now, looking back at the star system, although it was hard to see any scenery in the universe, they still stared at what was probably their homeland, each with a sorrowful expression.

And as the fleet accelerated, the celestial bodies behind them receded even faster.

”Lord Jia Yan, the fleet has accelerated to the speed sufficient for the group acceleration engine to start. May we start the group acceleration?”

”Begin.”

With this exchange between Kama and Jia Yan, the entire fleet, consisting of over a hundred ships big and small, suddenly accelerated!

The group acceleration engine, used by large fleets or armadas during travel, relies on the mutual gravitational forces between ships to achieve a kind of counter-acceleration. This method of acceleration can be extremely effective.

In an instant, no living being could see the scenery behind them. Even Jia Yan could only glimpse the dim light from the Desolate Star System’s stellar main star.

The group acceleration had begun!

From afar, one would see the moderately-sized fleet, with the giant Kuditan’s camp-level spaceship at the front, like a moon surrounded by stars, and the rest of the warship spaceships positioned in an encircling formation. Altogether, they resembled a shining bullet sprinting forward.

The destination, the Chaos Starfield, not far from the Desolate Star System!

”Dear viewers, the Giant Mosquito Fleet has departed. They’ve initiated group acceleration at a speed of five thousand star space units. At this speed, even returning would be quite difficult. Now, our galaxy’s crisis can be considered largely averted. We thank Lord Jia Yan and express our gratitude to the top ten warriors for their efforts toward peace!”

The various media channels behind broadcasted nearly the same message. The standoff and potential battle among the strong ones, if it had escalated into a war, would have caused inconceivable death and destruction. But now, with just a little damage caused before Jia Yan’s departure, the average citizens could count themselves very fortunate.

Meanwhile, not far from the part of the starry sky that Jia Yan and his fleet had left, dozens of warrior warships, also stealthily continuing to hide their presence, went unnoticed by everyone, even Jia Yan, due to the distance.

If anybody had known, they would have been deeply shocked, because inside these dozens of warships were almost all the top existences from the Desolate Star System!

It wasn’t just the top ten powers. Many top starry sky level experts from other forces were present too. It was foreseeable that if Jia Yan reneged at this crucial juncture, the Giant Mosquito Fleet would face a devastating attack from these strong ones.

Fortunately, that scenario did not happen!

Among those dozens of warships, Pai Lan’s battleship, missing a mechanical arm, was particularly noticeable. At this moment, he looked at the rapidly departing figures of the Giant Mosquito Fleet with a faint hint of hatred.

Jia Yan had ruined his chance for promotion. How could he easily forgive and forget?

”Alright, Jia Yan’s coming your way now. I hope you show him a bit of color, but I’ve said it before: don’t underestimate his strength. Don’t kick an iron plate. That’s all for now.” He opened a secret communication channel and said this.

After that, he closed the communication.

”This Jia Yan’s strength, I haven’t made clear. Whether that fellow battles Jia Yan and whoever gets hurt is of no concern to me. Even if Jia Yan gets past this bloke, I’ve still prepared a big gift for him in the Northern Star Domain. Let’s hope his rapidly increasing strength can be invincible there. Perhaps he may even attract more terrifying beings... Maybe it will be stellar level. Against such beings, no matter how strong Jia Yan is, death is certain! Haha!” There was a trace of vengeful pleasure in his gaze.

Setting aside the noise of the Desolate Star System, let’s talk about the Giant Mosquito Fleet, now undergoing group acceleration!

In group acceleration, because each ship’s gravitational pull affects the others, it’s not possible to maintain effective distance apart. At this moment, the entire fleet seemed to become one entity, and it wouldn’t be so simple for them to momentarily return to the Desolate Star System’s orbit. Although they were still within the Desolate Star System, they had symbolically signaled the imminent departure of the Giant Mosquito Fleet from the galaxy.
