Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1014: Chapter 3 The Great Fleet! _2

Jia Yan arrived at the observation deck of his battleship, and at this moment, the display connected to the entire fleet had already been set up. He could use maximum power to view the incoming threat!

These were thousands of warheads, each bizarrely huge, measuring over twenty meters. Considering that Outer Star technology had maximized the conservation of energy and materials, the only reason they would launch such enormous warheads was because their power was incredibly formidable, unbelievably so!

”Three columns, move back 170 degrees, fire jamming missiles toward the S3452 direction, columns 79 move back to position 3A to guide the enemy warheads.”

Kama’s calm command voice transmitted through the communicator.

Jia Yan was somewhat surprised, he had thought Kama might have undergone professional command training in the past, and although he usually performed well, he expected some panic in real combat. Yet, Kama remained extremely composed facing this opponent.

It seemed there must be some stories behind this subordinate’s past.

Jia Yan was only slightly astonished at Kama’s performance and then he paid no further attention, focusing only on his fleet’s performance in their first battle.

In the starry sky, all the surrounding battleships moved in clusters according to Kama’s directions, albeit slightly delayed, each vessel moved to the designated area commanded, especially the two columns serving as bait.

An eerie formation appeared among the entire fleet in the starry sky, and then the over thousand warheads approached within a mere 500 kilometers.

At this distance, optimal for cosmic warfare, the incoming warheads suddenly accelerated, each tracking its designated target, bombarding directly.

”Let me exert some effort too!”

As the enemies approached, Jia Yan inside the battleship naturally would not sit back and let his subordinates fight alone. Instead, he used his Brainwave Power, emitting terrifying waves!

The range and effectiveness of his Brainwave Power had significantly increased since mutating into a High-space Level being. Previously, it might have been used as a typical near and middle distance combat skill. But now, his Brainwave Power had turned into a powerful long-distance combat weapon!

Of course, this was still against normal materials; facing a formidable opponent, the assistance from his Brainwave Power would be limited.

In the starry sky, a bolt of Brainwave Power darted forward.

At a distance of 300 kilometers, thousands of long-range warheads almost reached the vicinity and directly collided with Jia Yan’s Brainwave Power!

This time, Jia Yan’s dispersed Brainwave Power had increased in area rather than condensed into a single force, hence the affected range was significantly broad.

The incoming warheads smashed into the Brainwave Power unleashed by Jia Yan. Misjudging they had hit the enemy vessels, they immediately self-detonated!

In the distant starry sky, waves of terrifying explosions illuminated a vast area in the sky, scattering debris in all directions.

”Great! Lord Jia Yan has made his move. We must also intercept the remaining warheads to make a good impression on the Lord in our first real battle!” Kama suddenly gave the order.

Here in the battleship, more intercepting warheads were launched.

Of the incoming long-distance warheads, only about one-third were intercepted by Jia Yan. His Brainwave Powers now split into dozens of strands, fiercely chasing after the warheads. But due to their sheer number, it wasn’t possible to successfully intercept them all.

If it were just Jia Yan alone, he would naturally pilot his spaceship to escape the vicinity. However, with over a hundred ships present, escape was not possible, and the situation had not yet reached a need for an escape.

The intercepting warheads rushed towards the incoming long-distance warheads, bursting forth with electricity. Although the velocity of the incoming warheads increased, only a small portion could escape these professional intercepting warheads, designed specifically to counter them!

With less than twenty kilometers remaining, over ten warheads still penetrated the multilayered defenses and attacked the area!

”All hands prepare for impact!” Kama had no other options left—the configuration of the battleship was just like that. Now, they could only hope that the warheads targeted a few less critical vessels to minimize the damage.

These ten warheads automatically determined that their attacking power was greatly reduced. They could only concentrate together on attacking one warship, with a certain chance of sinking it. Hence, they converged onto a single path and directly struck one of the leading ships in the Giant Mosquito Fleet!

This was a nondescript battleship, even within the Giant Mosquito Fleet it wasn’t particularly notable. Now in jeopardy, the ship’s commander issued several incorrect orders, which made it easier for the ten warheads to strike at a more vulnerable angle.
