Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 392: Chapter 24: South, Alien Life Development Zone! [Seeking Official Subscription]_1

Big Mosquito knew that his combat power was at most one-third of his usual capacity, perhaps even less!

Thus, this was not a time to show off. Besides, even if he possessed full strength, Jia Yan doubted he could withstand some of the powerful attacks from the massive war machine trailing behind him!

”So this is an interstellar civilization battle?! It’s indeed extremely terrifying!”

Keeping his flying pace, Jia Yan frequently looked back. His gaze seemed able to penetrate the vast distance and observe the combat scene where strong life forms like himself were fighting against those technological weapons with their bare bodies!

”Those are truly powerful beings. Even though it’s too far to see clearly, I can sense a huge flying creature wreaking havoc in the sky!”

Jia Yan visualized such combat scenario, the figure darting back and forth among countless civilizations’ combat aircraft, wreaking havoc. It felt as if his blood was about to boil!

This is what true strength is!

Although Jia Yan believed he was powerful, he admitted, he was nowhere near that creature. And there seemed to be more than one creature like that!

Powerful!

However, having a goal, that is what truly makes me happy!

Jia Yan watched the scenery behind him, his compound eyes filled with an eager-to-try interest.

If his body possessed the strength of his prime, probably he would try to engage in a fight!

Daphne, unlike Jia Yan, did not have the same vision. At this moment, all she could see were strong explosive shock waves rushing forward. She had no idea that the combat fluctuations were caused by colossal and terrifying creatures engaged in battle.

If she had seen those life forms, she might have speculated more about the identity of both combat factions!

Regardless, at this point, such speculations were unimportant. If they didn’t leave this place swiftly, the combat fluctuations would easily affect this area. With Jia Yan currently at his weakest state, they might get blown off balance by the gales.

”There’s a depressed area ahead, let’s hide there from the shock wave!”

Jia Yan spotted a lowland in the near distance and had no choice but to creep into it.

This lowland was just a depression created by two low hills. The special feature of this place was its narrow crevice. The sight of this crevice immediately elicited joy in Jia Yan.

He quickly navigated into the crevice carrying Daphne, just before a gale-like explosion swept over from behind.

The moment when his body entered the crevice, the rolling explosive shock wave came rushing in.

A few hundred kilometers away, incredibly, they were swept by an unbelievable storm, a barrage of debris.

All this while, Jia Yan had used his strength to blow others off their feet with his flying wind. Now, he was forced to dodge for cover, from the storm caused by other’s combat, just to avoid being hit directly. It was an unpleasant feeling to experience this, even though he had slowed down, keeping in mind Daphne’s safety.

Countless fragments splashed around him, he saw massive trees getting caught up in the storm and hurled into the sky; some rocks even accelerated beyond the speed of sound!

This highly alarmed Big Mosquito, for the current location was hundreds or even a thousand kilometers away from the battle center. Even at such a distance, the fluctuations of battle were still transmitting to this area, it was inconceivably powerful!

Jia Yan wondered, even at his prime, if he were closer tothe battle center, he may not survive the combat given the terrifying momentum of the battle fluctuations. He felt, unless his Bluish defense continued to perform miracles, with his usual combat power, it was impossible to survive in such an intense battleground!

Fortunately, the violent shock wave didn’t last long. Noticing that the surrounding storm had quickly weakened, Jia Yan carried Daphne and continued their flight into the sky.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!!!!————

In this flight, Jia Yan directly accelerated to a speed beyond the speed of sound. If he could maintain such speed, even if some shock waves continued to diverge from behind, they could not catch up with him.

However, what Jia Yan and his companion didn’t know was that only ten minutes after they left the low-lying area for evasion...

Whack! Whack!!!!———

Several creatures that moved rapidly through the ground flew like soaring birds at a speed higher than that of sound, and landed here in leaps and bounds!

”Squeak, squeak.”

”Squeak, squeak!!!”

These were three Earthlings, roughly the size of a human adult. They looked like giant rats, but their faces were even more terrifying than those of rats. Their sharp claws and teeth seemed capable of tearing a human being apart with ease!

When these three creatures arrived at the scene, they sniffed the ground intensely, and then, as if they had found something, their eyes lit up and they scurried off into the distance!

They ran on the ground, yet their eyes were fixed on the sky, as if they could see something in the empty sky!

The incoming shockwaves often blew their bodies, making them tumble on the ground. But after rolling over, they got up without any abnormal conditions and rushed forward again!

However, to their surprise, they found that their running speed was still slower than that of the life form they were chasing, and the distance between them was even increasing.

”Squeak, squeak, squeak!!!” these monsters cried out in dismay, but the situation between them didn’t change at all.

Helplessly, they could only relentlessly speed up their pursuit.

This planet was vast.

Even though Jia Yan didn’t know how big this planet was, he had already felt this when he first saw the horizon. On Earth, if you fly to a few thousand meters high, you would be able to see the curvature of the horizon. But on this planet, when he flew to a similar height, the horizon still looked the same, as if he needed to fly even higher to see its curvature.

”Continue to the South. The place we just left should be the Agreement Battle Zone. A planet disputed by two civilizations like this usually has certain resources. Outside the agreement battle zone, there are generally some living development zones in the south, which should not be affected by the attacks!”

Daphne finally couldn’t help but speak out when she saw that Jia Yan was flying around like a headless fly, not knowing where to go.

South!?

Jia Yan did understand what south meant. If Daphne was not wrong, then south, according to her words, would be on the left hand side when facing the sun, just like on Earth.

Daphne only concluded without any intention of explaining. Seeing this, Jia Yan almost couldn’t help cursing.

This old demon clearly knew a lot, and it seemed that it was not impossible for her to know the specifics of this planet. In the face of unequal information, Jia Yan seemed to be completely at a disadvantage!

But at this moment, he had no other option.

Previously on Earth, Jia Yan had the upper hand in everything. On Earth, it was like she was on her home field. As an earthling that was born and raised there, Jia Yan’s advantage was perhaps even greater than that of Daphne. But at this time, on a strange planet, as a life form with zero experience in interstellar travel, all Jia Yan could rely on was this alien representative who was absolutely unreliable. For him, this was a huge gamble, but her life was in his hands, and that was the only leverage Jia Yan had!

So, secretly, Jia Yan increased his brainwave power a little bit more, ready to destroy the female body on his back at any time...(To be continued.
