Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 354: Chapter 39: Heartbreaking, Wild Sweet Potatoes 【Requesting Official Subscription】_1

Through his brainwave power, Jia Yan saw the child and felt as if his heart was being strongly tugged. The pain was sharp and piercing!

Compared to the pain of mutation, it was no less!

He saw the little boy was also injured!

Blood was streaming from one of his eyes, his leg was also bloody, and his hobbling image was too heartbreaking to watch.

”Mom...I brought back wild sweet potatoes. I washed them, you eat...”

The child went over to his mother, squatted down, and gently shook her.

But all the response he received was his mother barely opening her eyes.

She could no longer eat anything.

Perhaps, it was her strong desire to see her child that caused this poor woman to hold on for so long.

”Mum, you eat...” Sensing something, tears rolled down the child’s cheeks.

The mother gently shook her head. Seeing her miserable child, she was in unimaginable pain. The child was so young and was in such an environment, if she died, the fate of this child was unthinkable...

How could she just die like this?!

But what could she do despite her unwillingness? Death isn’t something you can easily escape from!

In a few short minutes, the mother finally closed her eyes forever in her child’s arms, never to open them again...

”Mom! These are wild sweet potatoes, I won’t have any of them, please open your eyes and eat...”

Holding his lifeless mother in his arms, the little boy cried heartbreakingly.

In the cocoon, Jia Yan seemed to have seen the mother entrust her young son to his care in her dying moments.

Maybe the woman never thought this way, but Jia Yan chose to believe so in his silence.

”Has the mutation not completed yet? ...” Jia Yan felt his mood darken enormously.

He slowly moved his body a bit.

Perhaps because of the incomplete mutation, his almost fully-developed body was still restrained!

He could only continue to wait.

However, not much later, Jia Yan saw the child outside gradually sit down.

He had cried himself out, and the injuries on his body were starting to act up.

He was too young to realize that his injured self was also hanging on by a thread.

The little boy sat on the ground weakly, his breathing becoming more shallow.

Jia Yan in the cocoon was startled, using his brainwave power for a quick check; it turns out the child’s injuries were not light!

God knows how he managed to hold on, bringing a pile of wild vegetables back to the workshop.

Pity the child was already showing signs of a real man, but he was not able to feed his mom her final meal...

Just when Jia Yan was counting the seconds, waiting for his emergence from the cocoon!

Crack!

Click, click!

A succession of clear sounds rang out from outside the workshop!

Along with these sounds came a formidable sense of danger!

Jia Yan sensed it, the metallic monsters were approaching!

After more than a month, these metallic monsters had finally located him. The workshop was no longer safe!

Yet, at this moment, Big Mosquito had not successfully completed its mutation and was at its weakest!

The footsteps of the metallic monsters outside were drawing close.

Even the boy sensed it, his previously lifeless eyes opening wearily.

The body of a metallic monster came into the boy’s line of sight.

The expression on the child’s face instantly turned defiant!

”It’s all because of you, if not for you, my mom and dad wouldn’t be dead!”

Even as an eight or nine-year-old child, he knew his father had met with misfortune after leaving the house one day, but his mother wanted to hide it from him. So, he followed his mother’s wishes and pretended to truly believe that his father had moved to Shanghai City!

The boy, seemingly charged with energy from nowhere, got up from the ground, took his father’s rebars from the side wall, the weapon his father had found.

This rebar made the young boy believe that his father was the Rebar Superman he saw in cartoons!

His father was killed by these terrible metal monsters. Now, it was his turn to be the Rebar Superman!

It was his turn to be the man!

”Aaaaaahhhhh!!!”

Wielding the rebar, the small boy, like a tiny warrior, charged at the approaching five or six metal monsters, shouting furiously!

But how could these five or six Metal Monsters possibly regard this child as anything? Their heads only revealed a slight hint of red as if they were surveying the interior of the workshop, looking at the giant cocoon-like creature that almost occupied the entire space...

Perhaps these Metal Monsters noticed at first glance that this gigantic object, much like a cocoon, was their target!

But this human child was getting in their way.

In the eyes of the Metal Monsters, this is just a noisy and annoying human child.

They could easily kill him!

So, a ray of red light began to emerge dimly from the head of one Metal Monster!

It seems that they will kill this child with a single beam of light in the next moment!

The light began to slowly emerge!

At this very moment!

Boom!!!!!!!-

There was a great noise!

The child felt an unbelievable power emerge from the steel rebar in his hand!

It seemed like his own strength!

He screamed even harder!

The steel rebar held in his palm suddenly burst forth with power.

The child’s body seemed to lift off the ground!

He felt that the spirit of his parents in Heaven had given him this strength, at this moment, he was an invincible man!

”Yah!!!!!!- Die!!!!!”

His young voice, filled the night sky, like the bold Superman he had seen in cartoons, he was full of masculinity!

Just like he imagined, he flew into the air and slammed his steel rebar hard onto one of the Metal Monsters!

He did it!

Bang!!!-

There was a loud noise.

The steel rebar smashed the head of the Metal Monster sending it flying far away, landing on the ground!

The body of the Metal Monster still stood in front of the child, it seemed to not believe that this small human child could possibly kill it!

”Aaaaaah!!!”

The little Rebar Superman yelled again and swung his weapon towards another Metal Monster!

While the Metal Monster tried to evade, it shot a red beam of light from its head!

But in a blink of an eye, the little boy seemed to fly into the sky and evade the red beam!

Right in the heat of the battle, he didn’t even realize that he didn’t consciously do this evasive maneuver.

Crack!!-

The steel rebar once again knocked off the head of a Metal Monster with a powerful blow!

Another Metal Monster suddenly stiffened at this moment- it was going to self-detonate!

Boom Boom Boom Boom!!!!!!-

Without any time for anyone to react, the Metal Monster self-detonated in less than a second!

The surge of flames covered the entire stretch of land, even sweeping the other two Metal Monsters into its fiery folds.

The explosion’s flames spanned several hundred meters!

But in the meantime, a small figure, moving quickly, seemed to have a faint protective layer around him, fully protecting his body.

He flew and took shelter in the sky.

The little boy looked down at the widespread flames below. Although the flames touched him, they were blocked by a mysterious force and couldn’t burn his true body.

All of a sudden, a tear rolled down his cheek.

”Wuuuuuuu... Ahhhhhh...”

The steel rebar slipped from his hands.

The mysterious force didn’t stop the steel rebar from falling, letting it fall straight into the flames...

”Dad!!...Mom!!...Ahhhhhhh!”

Amidst the fiery night sky, the cries of a little boy echoed into the night, traveling far, far...

But in the meantime!

Inside the workshop covered in flames, a massive figure.

It gently pulled the cocoon in front of it and quietly stepped out with its colossal body! (To be continued. If you like this work, please come to qidian.com to vote for recommendation and monthly tickets. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users please visit m.qidian.com to read.)
