”First escape, then consider killing her.”

With that in mind, the Big Mosquito didn’t deliver the killing blow.

However, just then, Jia Yan was so focused on the unconscious woman that he didn’t notice...

Prior to his body, a ripple of light suddenly erupted from nowhere!

This was a bizarre place, with no air around. A grey-yellow star was hanging alone in the cosmic void.

The surrounding stellar clouds indicate that this is a young star system that has only just emerged!

Youth signifies chaos.

Asteroids and celestial bodies, lacking regular orbits, floated about haphazardly in the interstellar space.

Bizarre substances darted around non-stop.

Supposedly, this star system shouldn’t be capable of sustaining life, or at least it had not yet developed the foundations necessary to bear life!

If left undisturbed for a billion or perhaps tens of billions of years, this young star system might have the potential to foster life, maybe even a Race of Wisdom.

But, unexpectedly!

In this youthful star system, life signs appeared out of place!

There was a reddish-brown planet, which seemed to be a super-Earth, three times the diameter of our own Earth and hence dozens of times larger in terms of surface area!

Life, which should not have appeared in such a place, had indeed emerged there!

Patches of gray-yellow color appeared on the planet’s surface, which under the hue of the soil, looked a bit different despite being the same tone.

This was a grayish-yellow forest!

In the forest, various ’trees’ appeared in peculiar ways, all carrying a distinctive growth pattern. Every part of them, trunks and leaves alike, was of a grey-yellow color.

Even the plants of shorter stature displayed only black or plain colors, seemingly adorning their planet into a more simplistic tableau. Its primary color tone was grey and yellow!

Boom, boom, boom, boom! ------

The ground shuddered as a burst of sky-reaching light transformed the grey-yellow world into a fiery red spectacle!

Judging from first appearances, this seemed more like a signal. In this world, numerous flares continuously illuminated the sky.

During this time, many flying objects soared through the sky, radiating a dazzling brilliance.

They were dropping massive things from the sky or shooting potent red rays!

When those rays hit the ground, they caused unbelievable explosive power. The ground shook continuously, shockwaves surged, seemingly ready to obliterate the entire grey-yellow land!

As for the things being dropped, they were even more terrifying. After the explosions, the grey-yellow trees from the ground were blasted into the sky. Flames ignited, and everything on the ground, without exception, was set ablaze!

Under these mighty attacks, strange things beneath the ground began shifting restlessly!

They moved at incredible speeds!

Moreover, their movements were massive.

These were monsters of unknown strength!

Among them, a considerable number were flying creatures!

One airborne vehicle, unalert, was instantly captured by one of the flying monsters from below!

It screamed, hurtling skyward at a breathtaking speed. Its ascent blew away all the explosive winds nearby, indicating its power was beyond simple description.

Boom, boom, boom! ------

Upon ascending, a long extremity of the monster pierced the flying machine, causing it to explode!

All of the monsters on the ground were fighting fiercely, roaring deafeningly!

The airborne vehicles, under relentless monster attacks, were forced to retreat. More flying monsters ascended to the sky, attacking the myriad flying vehicles until they were scattering in all directions!

For a moment, the airborne vehicles were overwhelmed, and eventually, an enormous flying fortress which was three hundred meters in length was exploded upon the foot stab of the first ascended monster...

Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep! ------------------------------

A sharp scream permeated the entire battlefield.

All flying vehicles retreated at this moment. Those that couldn’t retreat in time exploded under numerous attacks of flying monsters, adding a touch of metallic color to the grey-yellow land.

The monsters on the ground roared in awe as they witnessed the battle in the sky above.

It seemed to threaten the enemy, and at the same time express the joy of victory.

Under this grotesque battlefield...

In the air of slight ripples, it seemed to be still in the most powerful attack of the war, constantly flowing with shock waves!

Right at the center of the explosion!

Bam!!...

It seemed that some sound of cracking occurred!

Afterwards, at the center of the empty blast crater, a terror-stricken ripple-like object suddenly appeared!

This ripple spread out, constantly attacking what was already the very dilapidated center of the explosion, like a tide!

Each invasion caused the ground to drop a little, completely without a trace!

Those disappearing things didn’t seem to explode into tiny matter. In fact, they didn’t even leave a trace.

It seemed to disappear utterly, not leaving even a trace of atoms behind, making the scene extremely eerie!

But the power of the ripple wasn’t continuous. After gradually scraping away a layer from the center of the explosion, it began to slowly reduce its eruption frequency...

It seemed to want to disperse unnoticed.

But!

Just before the ripple was about to disappear completely!

Schwapp!!!!!!!———

A gigantic foot, like a lightning bolt, brutally, from the very center of the ripple, lunged out!!!

This time, the ripples at the center of the explosion became stronger!

However, since the site was on the edge of the battlefield, the previous explosion had blown all the monsters far away. Those monsters seemed to be so excited about their victory that they didn’t notice this little eerie spot!

In no time, the ripples started to intensify, and where that front foot had emerged, a faint, deep-blue radiance appeared!

Behind the radiance was a colossal creature bathed in distorted air, exerting all its strength, like a fierce beast trying to escape its shackles!

Madly twitching!

This monster had a long proboscis and terrifying, fierce long legs even scarier than its breath.

These legs were now stepping out into the world one after another, with a force that seemed capable of tearing the world apart!

Boom boom boom boom!!!!!!!———

The air around was still vibrating.

But this massive creature, with its sparkling compound eyes, was becoming even brighter!

Finally, its head shed its shackles!

Then, its torso!

Afterwards, its unbelievably strong pair of wings!

Boom boom boom boom!!!!!!!———

Here, the commotion seemed to really attract the attention of some monsters that were celebrating.

Buzz buzz buzz buzz...

There were some flying creatures trying to fly towards this area.

As the freed monster, the glow in its compound eyes was so intense that it seemed to overshadow even the gray-yellow flame in the sky!

Creak creak creak creak!!!!!!!......

Almost in a flash of struggle, its feet finally stepped out of the scope of the ripple. Once its abdomen completely emerged, there was even a creature with the appearance of an unconscious earth woman lying on its back!

Just as it completely got away from the ripple, the sparkling ripple behind it suddenly shook out of the blue!

Bam...

It seemed that some closing sound appeared behind the huge creature.

The ripple actually disappeared entirely!

Except for the ground collapsing by 70 or 80 meters due to the ripple’s constant sweeps earlier, it seemed as if nothing had happened here. Without the ripple and any other anomalies, looking at the surface, everything was completely restored to normal! (To be continued. If you like this work, welcome to qidian.com to vote and recommend.
