Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 357: Chapter 42: Daphne reappears! [Ask for official subscription] _1

Unbeknownst to humans, this Giant Mosquito was declaring war on the Metal Monster, with decisive action beyond humans’ reflexive comprehension!

The Giant Mosquito had never considered humans as ’comrades’. Not because it didn’t desire an ally, but because there was simply no expectation for humans’ combat power!

Thus it preferred to act alone!

BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!!!!——

At this moment, its colossal seventeen-meter body roared furiously in the sky, like a sea dragon on the move, shading the world beneath.

Perhaps it would limit the cleansing radius to five hundred kilometers, not wanting to witness occurrences like the little boy’s family within its territory anymore...

Perhaps this was just a sort of disguised self-deception.

The proverbial ’out of sight, out of mind’.

Everything else, well, Jia Yan sadly admits, he is still not up to par!

A great battle as yet unprecedented, a vast battle of one against tens of thousands, was on the verge of breaking out!

Just as Jia Yan slowly unleashed his powers once again, following another mutation, a spaceship located outside Earth’s atmosphere that was carefully monitoring Earth received an energy signal...

A woman, seated in the spaceship’s cockpit, lightly kissed a transparent glass filled with red wine, her lips glowing.

Her countenance suggested immense enjoyment, but just as she was about to swallow the wine...

Beep beep beep beep...

Alert sounds echoed through the beautiful, luxurious spaceship!

The woman paused, then turned her gaze to the monitor...

Then her seductive eyes, filled with exotic charm, widened in disbelief at what they saw!

”How is it him!? Wasn’t he supposed to be dead!?”

This woman was none other than the so-called ’Empire’s’ representative, Daphne!

This spaceship of hers, the UFO that had once transported Jia Yan, was stationed high above Earth’s atmosphere! She was at least a thousand kilometers away from Earth, yet she still had the capability to observe Earth’s surface!

And on her display screen was the silhouette of the giant mosquito flying below!

It didn’t take long for Daphne’s face to cloud over with unprecedented seriousness!

”What in the world is happening!? He has not only returned to Earth but has also become this powerful! What’s the reason behind this!?”

While the character in the disc-shaped spaceship above was shocked, the awe-inspiring Big Mosquito, Jia Yan, had already taken flight, soaring swiftly.

With the inability of human radars or satellites to lock onto his figure, apart from Daphne’s spaceship in space, there was nothing else that could detect his presence!

However, once the war permeated the surroundings, this one versus many battle would certainly shake the dormant world like an earthquake!

”Here’s the first target!”

Only five minutes after circling the village, Jia Yan spotted a dozen Metal Monsters marching in the ruins below!

Without hesitation, his massive body dove down to attack!

BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!——

In barely two breaths, he ascended once more!

These few Metal Monsters barely posed any resistance and were immediately obliterated!

Jia Yan’s current physique, coupled with his powerful attacks, was simply not something a small group of Metal Monsters could trifle with!

He continued his quest, but the Metal Monsters up ahead, connected by some uncanny link, received information instantly!

At this point, they started to assemble for battle!

Both sides were fully prepared for war!

A battle between the Giant Mosquito monster and the Metal Monsters was about to commence!

Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!!!!! ——

In the serene wilderness, on some quiet road sections where vehicles are scarce, a cautious man laden with various items trudges along the road.

This man’s face is splattered with blood, and his body is riddled with injuries.

”Shanghai City is not far now, I can make it!” The man, after glancing at the road sign, cross-referenced it with the map he held, re-energizing himself.

However, on the road he was following, five metal monsters suddenly sprang out from the trees at the roadside!

”Ah!” The man exclaimed, before discarding the load on his back, and hastily sprinting away.

One of the five metal monsters, a red light flashed from its skull preparing to launch an attack, but a monstrous shadow descended from the sky like an overwhelmingly large mountain looming over everything, crashing into the road with a deafening impact.

The resounding sound of the collision echoed across the earth and sky!

The metal monsters were completely shattered without the slightest chance of resistance.

”Ahhhh!... Great... a Giant Mosquito!”

The fleeing man, sensing the commotion behind him, looked back and shouted in surprise.

”Hello! There are no more metal monsters on the road behind. You can proceed safely.”

Just as he was astonished by the appearance of the Giant Mosquito, a soft voice echoed beside him.

”Er, okay, got it...”

This man seemed to be aware that Giant Mosquitoes could talk. Hence, hearing the voice of the colossal mosquito bee before him, he did not seem overly shocked. Slightly stunned, he gave an affirming response.

Jia Yan gave the human one final glance before flapping his wings and rising into the air.

The fierce battle continued!

Since not many metallic monsters were present in this region, and they hadn’t assembled in larger groups, Jia Yan initially encountered small detachments of these metallic creatures at the start of the war.

Killing them was effortless, requiring just one swoop!

Despite there being no danger, destroying these small groups was indeed a tedious task.

However, half an hour into the massacre of the metallic monsters near the small mountain village, a shift occurred in the situation.

Swissh, Swissh!! ——

Having dodged two massive red beams and bravely weathered the small red rays of tens of metal monsters, Jia Yan’s compound eyes finally lit up!

”Good, this is finally getting interesting!”

The big mosquito, hovering one thousand meters above the ground, looking down at the scene below, finally found a flicker of interest in the encounter.

After attacking numerous metal monsters, these metallic creatures had finally served him a decent dish!

More than two thousand metal monsters had assembled on the highway below. Each monster, standing on the road, was crowned with a red beam. Their synchronized movement bespoke their formidable combat power.

To Jia Yan, they were an appetizing hors d’œuvre.

Now, the numerous heat source explosions and enormous red rays streaking across the sky finally prompted the earthlings to react!

Someone was in a battle with the metal monsters!

Even though the gigantic mosquitoes couldn’t be monitored through the radars, the nearby heat sources and the scenes of the battle couldn’t be concealed!

Moreover, the giant mosquitoes were only invisible to radar electromagnetic waves, not optically. So, when the satellites focused in on the area, they caught sight of the real scenario!

”Oh my God! It’s another war between the giant mosquito and the metallic monsters! It’s a seventeen-meter-long giant mosquito this time!”

Pictures transmitted through satellite got the monitor viewers excited in an instant!

After the giant mosquito had been gone for a long time, many began to speculate that the formidable ten-meter mosquito had died due to severe injuries from its last battle with the metallic monsters.

In fact, the ten-meter mosquito hadn’t appeared again. The people of Earth even suspected if the giant mosquito would ever reemerge. Without this incredibly strong ally, the humans were likely to become the victims of comprehensive suppression by the metal monsters, much like before.

But today, humans felt hope descend once again!

Having not heard any news for over forty days, the Giant Mosquito race showed up today, without any signs or symptoms! (To be continued.
