Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 352: Chapter 37 ’The Family Beyond the ’Great Cocoon’! [Seeking Regular Subscription] _1

Many people scoffed at the news!

The giant mosquito monster was always an enigmatic species before, vanishing for a while, only to return with an even stronger, larger individual! They believed this time would be no different!

However, this time the news seemed unaffected by the skeptics, even making a loud noise!

The giant mosquitoes of the past never exhibited the power to nearly upset the entire battle strength of the metal monster race. But this ten-meter mosquito is different from all those before; not only is its combat power terrifying, but it’s also a communicative entity. Such an existence naturally worries humans!

But no matter how humans discuss these topics, it doesn’t affect the mutating Big Mosquito!

The humans do not know that an even larger monster is about to appear!

Jia Yan’s mutation this time will take much longer.

In the not so spacious workshop, a cocoon-like object clogs up the entire space!

This place, a rarely visited underground area, was surprisingly chosen as the factory’s location by its original owner. But it was a great help to Jia Yan!

The metal monsters have sent thousands in the direction of Jia Yan to search for him.

However, their search area is vast and full of forests and resisting human villages. The fights that break out, although not inflicting significant damage to the army of metallic monsters, have significantly slowed down their search due to numerous traps!

The situation has become quite tense!

Just three days after contact was made with the giant mosquito monster, the military research institute in Shanghai City received various types of planes from all over the world.

From these planes, renowned scientists disembarked. These are top scholars from various fields, invited to Huaxia to participate in the study of mysterious alien machinery!

In this situation of human survival, what was once a secret study has become a grand scientific event!

Although research on this machinery couldn’t yield results quickly, things were well-organized and progressing as hoped.

Time flies. A month’s time doesn’t seem long for ordinary humans.

But for those in a war, each day feels like a year.

During this month, the war between metal monsters and humans did not end. The metal monsters didn’t stop the war due to the appearance of the giant mosquito.

Every day countless humans die under the red light of the metal monsters.

Countless human settlements are completely destroyed by the army of metal monsters.

Terribly horrifying scenes can always be seen in the news and media!

The war situation continues to develop unfavorably for humans.

Humans, who boasted of being the ”Spirit of all things,” were thoroughly beaten by the army of metallic monsters, even without their apparent full strength.

If Jia Yan were to reveal that these metal monsters were nothing more than mining equipment of another civilization, countless humans might stare in disbelief!

However, Jia Yan had no intentions of revealing this secret. He just wanted to see how strong the human’s war capabilities are. Otherwise, he wouldn’t reveal anything as neither the upcoming Wenxing Civilization Exploration Ship nor the current mining machines are things they could handle.

What’s the difference between revealing it and not revealing it then?

He would only consider revealing the arrival of a greater enemy if he saw humans showing their war potential.

The metal monsters outside are still lingering. They’ve been searching in the Jiangnan Area for quite a time.

There aren’t many metal monsters in Huaxia to begin with. Some are involved in the protection and reconstruction of several buildings, making the number on the outside even smaller.

Moreover, with the battles against the Huaxia National Army, the numbers of metal monsters seem to be insufficient!

However, over ten thousand metal monsters still appeared near the factory where Jia Yan was located.

Inside the factory workshop, a huge cocoon-like object was constantly undulating.

It seemed as if a prehistoric giant beast was about to emerge from its chrysalis and rule the world!

Yes, this cocoon was Jia Yan’s evolving body!

One month of time, based on his previous mutation time estimation, it’s almost time for his emergence!

Jia Yan’s consciousness, indeed, had recovered inside the cocoon!

”I can’t get out yet? Didn’t I used to be able to get out as soon as my consciousness returned?”

He regained consciousness, but felt that his body could not leave for the time being, and the surrounding limitations were immense.

Moreover, he found that his organs had not yet fully mutated. If he forced himself out of the condensation fluid-formed ’cocoon’, the outcome would only be death!

”I don’t know how much longer I have to wait.”

Jia Yan looked helplessly at his body, at this point, he too didn’t know how long this mutation would take.

His compound eye organs were not completely formed yet, and the same was true for his other organs. So at this moment, he didn’t even dare to move; after all, if an accident were to occur, it’s unknown what kind of impact it would have on his future body!

At this time, Jia Yan looked at his body.

His body had not yet fully solidified successfully, but the overall shape was becoming discernible!

Just after taking a couple of glances, Jia Yan was already astonished!

His previous body was ten meters long, and even more terrifying were his elongated legs - each extended to a length of twenty meters!

But now, the child form of his body was already about seventeen meters, you must know, the added seven meters was not as simple as it seemed, if his previous ten-meter body already exuded a super giant mosquito vibe, then his current state was not the same feeling at all!

An additional seven meters meant an increase of nearly two-thirds body length, it was like a child aging to adulthood!

Seventeen meters!

An absolute colossus! The title of a super giant mosquito was well-deserved!

When Jia Yan saw his body, although there were subtle changes, his form still resembled a giant mosquito. That slender mouthpart signified his current appearance, which was not much different from before.

”Excellent! Even if I crouch, my height is about to break through the ceiling of this workshop. With such a height, I’m really looking forward to seeing how big my body will be when I come out and what kind of sight it will be!”

Jia Yan looked at his current body. He knew that his body had not yet completely formed its final parts, so he could not test his power. However, in the dim light of his compound eyes, he was full of anticipation!

Just as Jia Yan was full of anticipation, the voice of a young child sounded not far from him, crying out with surprise!

”Mom, look, the big cocoon moved!”

People!?

Jia Yan, who was in the cocoon, felt a slight movement in his heart, but at this time, he was not afraid of anything. This voice was clearly that of a human child. A normal human could never harm him, even if he was in a body that hadn’t fully mutated yet!

”They must be humans who have taken refuge in this place!” Jia Yan speculated.

Indeed, outside the giant cocoon formed by Jia Yan’s mutation, there existed a family of three.

This family had been settling in this place for half a month!

They had fled from a nearby city, and after losing contact with other refugees, they blindly stumbled upon this factory. (To be continued. If you like this work, please vote for it on qidian.com. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users please go to m.qidian.com to read.)
