Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 365: Chapter 50: The Power of the ’Giant Mosquito Ancestor’!【Happy First Day of the Month】_1

[Happy New Year’s Day, thank you everyone for your subscriptions, donations, and recommended votes. Thanks to your support, I’m able to continue updating even when my friends and family are out enjoying the spring. Thank you!]

The combat power of this Giant Mosquito far exceeds that of its predecessors!

Although the previous Ten-meter Mosquito was an existence that humans could only look up to, they could somewhat gauge its combat power!

It was roughly on par with a Red Light Building of the Metal Monsters, even potentially getting injured or dying due to the inferior attacks of the Metal Monsters!

Simply from observing it vanishing after an intense battle with a Red Light Building of Metal Monsters, one could understand its approximate combat strength!

But this newly emerged Giant Mosquito is distinctly different!

It possesses a robust body and a combat power that makes one unable to believe!

What’s even more terrifying is that no one knows whether the unfathomable combat power of this Giant Mosquito is exhibiting its limits now!

It managed to nearly obliterate all the Metal Monsters within a 500-kilometer radius from the starting point in the non-stop battle over three days!

Such combat power is simply unimaginable for humans!

With each passing day of battle, more humans began to pay attention to the news of the Giant Mosquito!

Until the third day!

Almost all the surviving humans worldwide were glued to the internet or radio, awaiting the news of the Giant Mosquito every moment!

Three days!

Alone, it transformed an area of 500 kilometers into a no-go zone for the Metal Monsters!

Humans cannot accomplish such a feat. Even the previous Ten-meter Mosquito—which seemed to have a friendly treaty with humans—could not have done it!

But this Seventeen-meter Mosquito Monster can!

The Giant Mosquito Ancestor’s power is now limitless!

All humans were cheering, even though most still lived under the threat of Metal Monsters, and could be killed immediately by a beam of red light after their cheers. However, upon hearing about the tremendous victory and absolute strength of the Seventeen-meter Mosquito, people couldn’t help but cheer!

The Giant Mosquito Monster always had a generally friendly image towards humans!

Especially the recent Ten-meter Mosquito, and the current Seventeen-meter Giant Mosquito—they both seem to be relatively friendly to humans. One of them delivered machinery from an alien civilization to the humans, while the other first appeared in a hospital and even saved a severely injured human child!

Are these types of Giant Mosquitoes not natural allies to humans?

Today it could clear a sector of the Metal Monsters in Huaxia. It even destroyed two of the Red Light Buildings that humans deemed unsolvable! So, would it gradually increase its efforts tomorrow to help the people of various cities and countries regain their land?!

So, the victory of the Giant Mosquito is certainly not bad news for humans!

It’s said that in Huaxia, some humans, under the protection of the Giant Mosquito and due to the prepared land, have started to move to areas previously lost!

Particularly the people near Shanghai City are beyond delighted!

Everyone feels that the Giant Mosquito is protecting the vast population of Shanghai City. Since the Metal Monster disaster occurred, nearly 100 million people once gathered in Shanghai City because the situation was relatively safer!

Even after several total attacks by the Metal Monsters and various human tragedies, there are still about fifty million people left around Shanghai City!

It’s not that they don’t want to leave, it’s that there’s nowhere to go!

Without farmlands to cultivate, the price of grain in the region has skyrocketed to an incredible degree!

In over half a year, countless people have died due to various issues related to food!

Many died not just due to starvation, but more so due to conflicts and schemes!

Even though there are stable supplies from other regions, the world’s food supply is already insufficient. It’s foreseeable that if this continues for a slightly longer time and all the stored food from the past prosperous times is consumed, the area around Shanghai City is destined to be littered with starving waifs!

But!

At such a tense moment!

The seventeen-meter mosquito monster has appeared!

Not only is its combat power amazing, it not only avenged countless people killed by the metal monsters, but also used its powerful strength to seize a land area of five hundred kilometers!

Such a vast territory is likely to be safe from metal monster disturbances!

People can safely plant and cultivate this land. As long as the giant mosquito exists, this piece of land will be the hope for everyone!

At this moment, nearly ten million people swarm towards the surrounding urban and rural areas!

The surrounding area of Shanghai City has long been too overcrowded for any possible survival!

The poor little villages that appeared because of people’s gathering began to spread around!

If it weren’t for the threat of metal monsters in the wild, who would want to squeeze around Shanghai City and become the exploited target of those gangs and groups?!

With the giant mosquito monster, all these people are liberated!

They swarm into the vast land around them - who can claim to be the master of this place?

Even if this liberated land really has a master, it must be the giant mosquito monster, not an individual, not any gang, not even a country!

Only the one who has liberated a piece of land can be its real master!

But obviously the giant mosquito has no intention of seizing this land, so at this moment, each of these humans headed there, and the future arrangements, whether the state will send a team for management or how to arrange, are matters in the future.

Of course, all of these situations have a prerequisite!

That is that the Big Mosquito would really protect this land. If metal monsters attacked again and there was no fighting power from the giant mosquito monster, this piece of land would not be able to be defended.

Nobody can understand what the giant mosquito is thinking.

In fact, Jia Yan didn’t think too deep either. It seemed that after shedding his human identity, he lost interest in these matters and didn’t even consider them!

Power and interest, to him, are no longer of great concern.

If there was something on Earth that needed his attention, that would be those azure crystals acquired by the metal monsters!

”These crystals are actually beneficial to my current body!”

In a dense forest, the drizzling rain was still falling incessantly, making the whole forest extremely humid.

But deep into this forest, a giant creature seemed to be savoring the nourishment of the rain, crawling among the weeds, slowly examining the thing he was holding in his feet.

It was a crystal-like object. Its surface seemed to be enveloped in a touch of mist, constantly circulating within, like the flowing blue water everywhere, extremely mysterious.

Jia Yan looked at this object, his compound eyes revealing a curious expression towards this star-condensed substance.

From his point of view, the star-condensed substance was also a very powerful thing. In the past, he had devoured it once, that effect had greatly enhanced his defense, but in the following mutations, the star-condensed substance did not participate.

Even in Jia Yan’s opinion, his body that had undergone several mutations should have developed resistance or adaptation to the star-condensed substance! But in this mutation, he found that this star-condensed substance was still of immense use to his body!

”No wonder all civilizations fight for the star-condensed substance, even the effect on me is so great!”

Jia Yan felt the deep blue crystal held by his forefoot, attracted by his own interest, and couldn’t help but sigh!

This material seemed to greatly affect his next mutation as long as he had enough of it!

Jia Yan just glanced at the deep blue crystal in the rain, and then continued to put it back into the space between his wings.

Although the deep blue crystal still worked for him, he was not an infinite black hole. Jia Yan was sure that if he used the deep blue crystal again and wanted to mutate, he would certainly end up dead straight away!

After all, he had just succeeded in the mutation, and he didn’t know when the next mutation would start, or even whether there would be such an opportunity for mutation in his lifetime!
