[Please collect]_1 93: Chapter 12: Asking Without Limits?

[Please collect]_1 Jia Yan, far away in Tumen, had no idea that two familiar faces had set their sights on him.

However, there were now far too many people fixated on him.

Even while hiding within the crevices among construction materials, he had heard the sound of search parties passing by more than once!

The spot where he was lying was quite cool and shady.

A metal bullet lay next to his body, discarded to the side.

The solid defenses that were struck by the bullet unexpectedly healed back after ejecting the bullet, so that within two days, there wasn’t a trace left of the previous injury!

“The laptop is still hidden in the corner of the wall at its owner’s place, I hope it hasn’t been discovered.”

Jia Yan thought of the laptop he had hidden carelessly.

These people were searching so meticulously that he was unsure whether they would find the laptop.

“It seems that next time I get in touch with the two assassins, I’ll have to ask them to help me get another laptop, complete with a wireless network card.

That would make it easier for me to communicate with the outside world and access information!”

“Three days have passed.

I wonder if the exoskeleton they were tasked with building has made any progress.

I’ve worked out that with my current body size, I could fly wearing around 3 kilograms of a metal exoskeleton without it hindering my movements much.

If it were to exceed that weight, my flying speed would be significantly affected.

I hope the metal exoskeleton they’re building for me doesn’t exceed that limit.”

Thinking about all this, Jia Yan felt a little impatient.

He also felt that his internal injuries had pretty much healed up.

So, once again, he took advantage of the early hours, around four in the morning, and quietly squeezed out from the crevices in the construction materials!

Spread his wings!

Flew into the sky!

Having not flown for nearly three days, the long-missed sky made Jia Yan feel extremely comfortable as he soared.

However, the temperature had dropped significantly compared to the previous few days.

Jia Yan flew towards the nearby location of the laptop.

The distance wasn’t far at all, so he arrived in only about three to five minutes.

Jia Yan darted into the dark corner’s crevice.

Though his body now measured over 20 centimeters, compared to humans, it was still rather small.

Therefore, he could still squeeze into tiny crevices that humans would never even think of.

After squeezing into the crevice between two buildings, the interior space seemed to expand quite a bit.

A plastic bag just happened to be lying within it!

With a bit of effort, Jia Yan dragged the plastic bag out of the crevice and then opened it up in the dark corner!

The laptop was unmistakably still there!

“Alright, time to power it on and see.”

Jia Yan turned on the computer.

Then he piggybacked onto the homeowner’s Wi-Fi network and logged into QQ.

The icon for the Korean Oppa suddenly began to flash.

Jia Yan clicked on the icon to check and sure enough, there was a message.

“Dear Mr.

Bug, the metal components produced by the German Factory have been finished ahead of schedule and are now being transported by air.

You can designate a delivery spot.

We will send a dedicated person to hand over the goods.”

After some thought, Jia Yan finally decided to shamelessly send a message!

Whether he owed one favor or two made no difference, he could probably repay these two in the future.

“Hi, if your delivery person can arrive the day after tomorrow, please have him come to a place in Jishi Tumen City named Liangshui Town.

You only need him to place the goods nearby the monument outside the town around ten at night and I’ll be able to receive them.

Also, I’m sorry for the inconvenience but I currently have an urgent matter at hand and can’t take care of it myself.

Could you possibly ask the delivery person to help me buy an ultra-lightweight laptop, 10 to 12 inches will do, while he is on his way?

I need one with strong battery endurance, also an accompanying wireless network card with balance in it, oh, and if possible, the largest capacity external battery for a laptop.

Thank you so much!”

Meanwhile, Bearded Man on the other side of the ocean was having dinner.

Hearing that he received a message on his cellphone, he hastily checked it!

Pfft!

——

He spit out the soup that he had been drinking!

“What are you doing?!” The bespectacled young man across him was immediately irritated.

He was soaked in soup, his carefully styled hair now a mess!

He felt disgusted.

“This senior is really treating us like his servants.” Bearded Man handed his phone to the bespectacled young man.

After reading the message, the bespectacled young man smirked bitterly as well.

He felt like the senior on the other side was like a hooligan, becoming more unreasonable with his demands!

“We’ve helped out with the previous matters, buying a laptop is such a small matter in comparison.

Later we’ll call Lee and ask him to buy a laptop and some wireless equipment on the way.” The bespectacled young man shook his head.

He was beginning to doubt whether all the favors they had done were of any use.

If it comes to a situation where they’ve given so much but the other side doesn’t appreciate it, then all their efforts would have been wasted.

Despite their slight complaints, the two assassins still sent a reply to Jia Yan.

“Hello, we will arrange for the delivery man to bring the laptop you requested.

He should be able to reach Tumen City by the evening the day after tomorrow.”

Seeing this, Jia Yan felt a surge of joy in his heart and quickly expressed his gratitude!

“Thank you so much, although you might not be pleased at the moment, I promise, if there is any opportunity in the future, I will absolutely help you without reservation!”

Click!

After a brief communication, Jia Yan shut down the computer.

The battery didn’t have much power left.

However, Jia Yan didn’t return the laptop to the owner.

Instead, after wiping any traces of his use, he continued to hide it in the crevice.

If anything were to happen the day after tomorrow night, he could use this computer to contact the two assassins.

It was getting a bit brighter outside already.

Looking at the sky that was lightening to a fish-belly white, Jia Yan slightly felt the temperature.

“The outdoor temperature in the early morning is around 3 to 4 degrees, maybe in a few days, it will suddenly drop to 0.”

He felt that his time remaining in the north was limited.

After carefully hiding the computer, Big Mosquito spread his wings.

To continue his return into the crevices of the nearby construction materials!

Time quickly passed, and the evening of the third day arrived!

The temperature had dropped a lot in these two days, Jia Yan, hiding in the city, was feeling a bit stiff and his movements weren’t as agile.

It had almost been a week since the gunfight in Tumen City took place.

The interest in Big Mosquito online has declined slightly.

That’s just how the internet is, even if some unbelievable topics spread, once they persist for a while, as netizens realize these topics have no correlation to them, their attention is easily shifted to other things!

Therefore, Jia Yan could tell, that the number of journalists and photography enthusiasts wandering around Tumen City had greatly reduced!

Maybe these people just wanted to catch a glimpse of this ‘monster’, or perhaps they had other intentions.

But regardless of good intentions or malintent, Jia Yan could not appear, at least not now, he does not trust humans.

He is just a mosquito right now, a different species from humans.

Although Jia Yan may attempt to save humans, he does not believe that humans would approach him with friendly intentions like he does!

If he were to be found, it would undoubtedly be a trip to the lab.

Therefore, when it was almost time to meet with the two assassins for the agreed ‘delivery day’, Jia Yan still took advantage of the unattended time at night and headed up into the sky…

Having been exposed once, Jia Yan had become even more careful!

Away from Tumen, the small county town, he suddenly accelerated his flight speed, the occasional noise of his flapping wings echoing far into the quiet night!

The temperature is really low!

During the flight, Jia Yan stiffened slightly.

However, this rigidity was quickly eliminated by his body’s powerful adaptation.

“It’s about nine o’clock now, and according to my flight speed, it will take only about fifteen minutes to get to Liangshui Town.”

Arriving half an hour earlier can to some extent prevent the other party from devising any tactic.

Although Jia Yan did not really believe the two assassins would give him any trouble, it’s always better to be safe than sorry.

Especially since he’s become a mosquito, it’s never wrong to be a bit cautious of humans!

It takes at least an hour to get from Tumen to Liangshui Town by car, but if you calculate it as a straight-line flight, fifteen minutes is Jia Yan taking his time.

From the perspective of Jia Yan flying in the sky, he simply had to fly over a few forests to reach Liangshui Town.

But if you’re driving on the ground, the road is winding and it feels like a long way to go before you can get there.

So, the view from the sky is completely different from the ground!

“I’m here!”

Upon reaching Liangshui Town, Jia Yan estimated the time to be around nine fifteen or sixteen.

He first looked down at the scenery below, did not see any hidden people or mechanisms, so he descends!

Click!

He landed in the woods near the stone stele of Liangshui Town.

The residents of Liangshui town are few and at this time there is practically nobody moving on the road.

“I wonder what the metal exoskeleton built for me will look like.

Although I designed the basic blueprint, I can’t really imagine it without seeing the real thing!”

“I hope they didn’t get any of the key data wrong.

Otherwise, it wouldn’t fit me!”

Jia Yan realizes his current mood is like waiting for a delivery when shopping online as a human!

But the thing people enjoy about online shopping is precisely this anticipation.

Many people find it interesting, like they’re waiting for a treasure of unknown value.

If what’s inside the box is good, it’s like successfully finding a treasure, but if they don’t like what’s inside the box, it’s quite disappointing!

Of course, as a human they can choose to leave a negative review and opt for a return, but he can’t do that now.

“And that laptop, I hope the battery life is the best as I requested.

With the external battery, the continuous use time could reach 12 to 24 hours.”

Jia Yan realizes that in addition to his expectations for the metal exoskeleton, he is also filled with anticipation for the upcoming laptop.

With this device to communicate and get information from the outside world, he will undoubtedly gain more helpful information!

Even if it was just a simple map function, it would be immensely useful to him.

Finally, after what seemed like a long wait of several dozen minutes!

A small car with an out-of-town license plate drove by on the road.

To be continued.
