Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

54: Chapter 15 Factory Disturbance【For Collection】_1 54: Chapter 15 Factory Disturbance【For Collection】_1 The summer rain was heavy and sudden!

The downpour drenched everything between heaven and earth.

In the forest, every tree was dripping with rainwater, which would serve as their source of moisture and keep them lushly green.

In such a storm, a huge Chinese Anopheles Mosquito, about seven to eight centimeters in size, was flying through the harsh weather.

Jia Yan was in the downpour, utterly uncaring about the rain pouring from the sky.

The heavy rain only made his black body shine all the more!

After today’s several battles, Jia Yan fully realized his current strength and was also clear about the path he should take in the future.

“I want to become stronger!

Otherwise, no matter how long I live, if I’m just hiding in the deep mountains and old forests, what kind of life is that?”

“I was almost becoming timid.

Fortunately, I realized that in time!”

Now Jia Yan’s body was full of vigor.

Although he was injured, he felt he could still move!

The blood from a bat could only fill him halfway, but this was already enough to cover a period of energy consumption.

His first blood-sucking after the second mutation immediately filled the mosquito with vitality.

Even the two injured parts didn’t hurt as much anymore!

“These two wounds don’t look very serious.”

Jia Yan assessed the injuries he sustained after fighting the bat.

“I have regained feeling in my foot, and after a while, it might recover.

But the two bite marks on my tail needle won’t heal so easily!”

What contributed to his success could also lead to his downfall.

The tough exoskeleton was robust in combat.

But if it was damaged, it was not easy to heal.

“That purple-red liquid medicine, even if it can’t further advance me, it must have some healing effects.

After all, it made my body mutate to such a huge size, I won’t believe it has no effect on body injuries!”

Jia Yan’s compound eyes flickered.

He decided to head to the Northeast Wild Tiger’s factory to see if he had a chance to get more purple-red liquid medicine!

Of course, this time would be more dangerous than the last.

The huge body brought a larger potential crisis.

But this time, Jia Yan was no longer timid.

If he cowered, he might as well be an ordinary mosquito!

Such a huge size and the combat power to fight bats might make him the ‘King Mosquito’ wherever he went!

If he aspired to live this life spectacularly, he would have to fight for it!

Clearly realizing these, Jia Yan chose the latter!

The heavy rain seemed like a heavenly river pouring down from the sky, washing away the impurities and making the forest in the night glow with a new vitality.

After transforming into a giant mosquito, Jia Yan, whose flying speed had greatly increased, quickly approached the location of the Northeast Wild Tiger’s factory again.

After Jia Yan’s commotion a few days ago, it seemed like the factory had changed a bit!

From a distance, Jia Yan noticed that the three old buildings of the factory were different.

“Hmm, they’ve sealed all the doors and windows!”

Jia Yan flew to a high tree about ten meters away from the factory wall then, hiding in it, looked at the changed parts of the factory in surprise.

The windows and doors of the building used as an office had been sealed with aluminum alloy.

Even the evolved roaches wouldn’t be able to gnaw through easily.

And there were other changes.

Even the door for the workers to go in and out had been replaced with a heavy security door.

“More mutated creatures must have been born in these few days.

The Northeast Wild Tiger is totally flustered.”

Jia Yan inferred.

Actually, he had a reason for his guess.

If the factory of the Northeast Wild Tiger had always been like this, according to what Jia Yan had seen, mutated creatures should have been all over the nearby forest a long time ago.

After all, the factory’s previous defenses didn’t seem to be very secure.

So he inferred that although the factory might have had mutated creatures before, it definitely wasn’t as extreme as recently!

“I wonder what change prompted these creatures to increase?

Is it a problem with the liquid medicine, or is it something else.”

What Jia Yan did not know was that by now, the factory had already descended into complete chaos!

In the two sealed buildings, one of them was in total disorder.

More than twenty workers in protective suits, with a serious look on their faces, were gathered at the entrance of the building.

“Factory Manager, let me out.

I quit this job!”

“Yes!

We quit!

Yesterday Old Chen was bitten by that centipede, he didn’t look so good.

You tell us, is he dead since you took him away, and what about Little Li from last time.

He hasn’t come back, did he also die!”

“No matter how high the salary is, it is not worth our lives.

I don’t want this month’s salary.

Factory Manager, open the door for me!”

“Yeah, yeah, I wouldn’t dare to continue either.

Every day all kinds of weird creatures come out, it’s quite obvious that you’re not making medicine here.

You wouldn’t be creating something harmful, would you?

We won’t have a hand in murder!”

Northeast Wild Tiger stood in front of these twenty-plus workers with a sullen expression on his face, flanked by seven or eight subordinates.

His grand plan had just been set in motion not too long ago.

It had been going rather smoothly so far.

Even major figures like the Addicted senior had been recruited by him and were currently carrying out tasks outside.

But now, this slip-up had occurred right at the very place where everything had started!

“All of you stop shouting!” Northeast Wild Tiger bellowed out in an unsightly rage.

This man from the Northeast had a naturally rough voice, and with his inbuilt authority, anyone would inevitably submit to him.

The twenty-something workers all ceased their shouting, staring at the young ‘factory director’, who was already filthy rich and illustrious.

Even though you have money, that doesn’t mean you can make us perform such high-risk work, does it?

No matter how much money you have, we can leave if we wish and you can’t stop us!

That’s how some of the workers felt.

Only after Northeast Wild Tiger suppressed the workers’ shouts did he speak up.

“Each and every one of you signed an agreement, if you want to leave now, you have to pay three times the breach penalty, at least thirty thousand for each person!

I’m also thinking of you guys, most of you have a family to provide for, earning money isn’t easy!

Personally, I wouldn’t care if you leave, but I also don’t want to waste two days recruiting new people!

Furthermore, you guys said that Old Chen and Little Li are dead, but they’re perfectly fine.

They’re just staying at the hospital for observation for a few days.

The factory is paying for their medical bills because we’re afraid that their injuries might lead to negative long-term effects.

Who the heck is spreading rumors that they’re dead?

This is absolutely outrageous!”

After Northeast Wild Tiger finished yelling, some people were half-convinced already.

“Is that true?

If it is, you should give a call to Little Li and let us hear his voice, then we’ll be reassured.”

“Alright!” Northeast Wild Tiger took out his cellphone and dialed a number.

Some workers stood next to him, watching Northeast Wild Tiger dialing the number.

The name he was dialing indeed belonged to Little Li.

Before they managed to see the detailed cellphone number, Northeast Wild Tiger had already placed the phone against his ear and was listening to the ringtone.

“Hello!” After only two rings, someone picked up from the other end.

Northeast Wild Tiger pressed the loudspeaker button, and the voice in the phone saying “Hello, Director.” was crystal clear for everyone to hear.

Funnily enough, it did sound a lot like Little Li.

“Little Li, it’s me Big Shed, how’ve you been doing these days?

What happened to you that made you lose contact with us?”

Before Northeast Wild Tiger completed his sentence, a young man standing next to him who was nervously staring at the cellphone shouted out.

“Big Shed, I’ll be back in half a month.

I visited your wife yesterday, she told me that with you earning so much money, things have been great.

She asked you to work peacefully at the factory and aim to become a full-time employee by next year!”

“I see; if you have the time, tell her that we are a high-tech factory and communication with the outside world is not allowed!

I’ll send her a call next month, remind her to look after our son.” Big Shed’s eyes were welling up with tears.

“Alright Little Li, it’s me, the director.” Northeast Wild Tiger then took over, speaking into the phone.

“Uh…

Hello, Director.

I’m really fine, the comfortable hospital room you arranged for me seems like a bit of a waste.” The voice of Little Li in the cellphone seemed a bit nervous.

“It’s alright; healthcare for each employee is the factory’s top priority.

Just rest there and recover; it doesn’t matter how long you stay at the hospital, whether it’s ten or fifteen days, the factory will pay for all your medical expenses.

We’ll still be giving you your salary, understood!” Northeast Wild Tiger commanded sternly.

“That…

alright…

the factory is so nice…

thank you, director!” The voice of Little Li in the cellphone was almost moved to tears.

Beep!

Northeast Wild Tiger ended the call.

“Everyone heard that, right?

Alright, let’s all return to our positions in the factory.

Every second those machines are left idle is money wasted.

Do your work diligently; after half a month of this additional production, I’ll give everyone a week-long paid holiday to reunite with your families.”

“A week-long paid holiday, I’m so envious of all of you!

Next time, we administrative staff should transfer to the workshop too.” A staff member with a ‘rogue-like’ vibe standing next to Northeast Wild Tiger hilariously expressed his surprise.

After hearing the voice of ‘Little Li’ and receiving a personal promise from the director, although some workers were skeptical, seeing everyone else returning to their positions, they had no choice but to frown and head to their respective positions…

“Six Sons, your brother is absolutely amazing at imitating others.

Let him know that I, Northeast Wild Tiger, owe him a favour.

Next time we go into town, I’ll treat him to a nice meal.” When the factory’s gate was shut, Northeast Wild Tiger muttered to a subordinate standing next to him.

“Alright.” The subordinate laughed in delight.

Just as they were walking out of the factory building…

Not too far from them, on the trees beside the wall, a giant mosquito with compound eyes was staring coldly at their group.

The night provided perfect camouflage for it.

“Northeast Wild Tiger?

And he’s brought a bunch of subordinates along, what’s going on…”

As Jia Yan watched them, he couldn’t help but wonder.

Bringing along a group of subordinates who were clearly up to no good, leaving the factory, it didn’t seem like anything good.

But just what it could be?

Could there be a chance he could exploit this, and would it offer any help for his own infiltration?

To be continued.
