Jia Yan makes a plan.

If he really can’t find that so-called ‘Divine Object’, he will supplement it with more Mysterious Liquid.

Then he would wait and see if the liquid would mutate his body once more!

The Mysterious Liquid remaining from before seems to have been mostly absorbed already anyway.

Even if it hasn’t, at worst, it will just serve as extra food!

The plan right now is to spend some time in the Underground World, and if there’s no observable effect from the Mysterious Liquid, he’ll venture to the outside world to look for other opportunities for power!

“Given my current size, venturing to the Surface World and getting discovered by humans would be much riskier.

Might as well take this place as a so-called ‘Training Ground’ and see if there’s any chance of further growth!”

“And considering the weather up on the surface, I think it should be near autumn now.

Though I don’t think it will affect me too much, it probably won’t be as comfortable as this warm Underground World!”

With these thoughts in mind, Jia Yan plans out his life for a bit.

But plans never outpace changes!

Just as Jia Yan is mentally prepared.

He suddenly hears a series of ‘buzz buzz buzz’ noises by his ears!

This sound is too familiar!

Clearly, it’s the Army of Weasels that he just barely managed to escape from!

Jia Yan hurriedly turns his head around!

As expected, a massive army composed of Giant Silkworms formed behind him!

Jia Yan feels a great shock in his heart, because there’s more than one, there are at least seven to eight Armies of Weasels!

Each army is composed of a hundred weasels, so seven to eight armies means seven to eight hundred weasels!

It seems like the entire nest of Giant Silkworms has poured out to capture him!

Ranks composed of Giant Silkworms form to look like a river of darkness from above, rushing towards Jia Yan’s location!

Jia Yan’s internal alarm bells start blaring!

Frantically taking off and heading towards a nearby cave, he makes his escape!

The Army of Weasels behind him show no signs of letting him go.

These beings, who claimed dominance over the skies of the Underground World, persistently chase after him, unwilling to let go unless their enemy is dead!

Their demonic flight all around the sky strikes fear into the countless creatures below.

Even the colossal creatures in the water are panicking, stirring in the water non-stop!

Many creatures living in the bushes also hastily conceal themselves in the bush as if they’ve encountered a natural disaster!

In fact, Jia Yan had already noticed long ago that these Glires had an air of domination in the Underground World, and now it appears to be true!

Who would have thought that in the Underground World where gigantic creatures are everywhere, the rulers would be these flying creatures that don’t seem impressive at first glance.

But thinking about it carefully, it isn’t surprising at all.

The Giant Weasels are the only flying creatures in this world, and their numbers are enormous.

Relying on their advantages of flight and numbers, it can be said they have no rivals!

Perhaps because Jia Yan is also a flying creature, these dominating Glires see him as a threat to their authority and don’t stop chasing him until he’s dead every time they see him!

Jia Yan doesn’t have the mental energy to think about all this while escaping for his life!

His condensed armor defense is indeed very strong to the point that he even thinks he may be able to block bullets from humans’ small firearms now!

As for the Army of Weasels behind him, he is confident about defending himself against those small creatures.

However, what truly frightens him are those creatures behind the ordinary Giant Weasels!

The even bigger Weasels number around thirty or so.

Each with bodies over twenty centimeters long and even more sharply pointed, thicker tail needles, and more terrifying builds!

Among them, there are five that have bodies which appear strikingly black and purple, their exaggeratedly massive bodies exceed forty centimeters!

No matter how you look at it, these five are no simple creatures.

Their presence has caused the creatures that were leisurely crawling around after seeing the ordinary Weasels to immediately scurry and hide in the bushes as if they’ve seen their natural predators!

These purple Super Giant Armored Beetles are definitely not creatures to be messed with.

As they set sight on Jia Yan with their compound eyes, he feels as if he’s been spotted by predators and starts to flee even more desperately!

The buzz continues——

His lighting-fast figure scurries in the narrow cave!

The entrance of the cave he entered is small, around one meter wide.

Jia Yan hopes that this would prevent the Weasel armies from swarming into the cave entrance all at once.

But the cave started to widen as he travelled further in, and in less than two minutes of flight time, it widened to five or six meters!

The persistent Weasels chasing from behind happily align themselves in parallel, following closely behind in mid-air!

Jia Yan maintains his maximum flight speed at the front, but he finds this kind of narrow cave environment rather difficult because he has never experienced or trained for high-speed flight in such low altitude and narrow spaces before.

Despite his initial head start, his lead is gradually shortened by the Giant Weasels behind him!

Moreover, the Super Giant Rove Beetles have flown to the very front of all the weasels.

Luckily, those five purple fellows still remain in the middle of the army of Weasels, as if the current situation isn’t worthy of their intervention yet.

But just being chased by those Super Giant Rove Beetles is causing Jia Yan headaches because their tail needles give him a dangerous feeling too!

“What’s going on, there are sounds of Weasels flying from up ahead?!”

At this moment when Jia Yan is feeling anxious, his antennal auditory senses hear the annoying flapping noises of wings from the front end of the cave!

His body quickly turns a corner at high-speed!

But in Jia Yan’s compound eyes, he did indeed see a large swarm of giant glires coming at him from ahead!

“Is this cave just making a loop in the underground world and both the entrance and exit lead to the underground world?

Sigh, I’ve really picked a great place, haven’t I?”

Jia Yan sighed internally at his poor luck.

This group of glires in front of him had clearly flanked him from another cave.

Jia Yan wasn’t sure how intelligent these giant glires were, but if this was a strategy they came up with, their intelligence was far higher than he had ever anticipated!

“Most of the group in front of me are ordinary glires, I just need to be careful of the two super giant ones.

The rest are not to be feared, let’s burst through!”

Compared to the impending swarm of glires, Jia Yan was even more afraid of the tide-like army of glires behind him, so he had no choice but to charge forward!

Breaking through this smaller group of glires was his lifeline!

Jia Yan flexed his wings!

Ready to brace for the collision!

Gathered up his courage!

Charge!

Buzz!——

With the super high-frequency vibrating wings, Jia Yan’s speed shot up to the limit.

There were so many giant glires in front of him that he didn’t have to worry about crashing into any cave walls!

Charge straight through!

Compared to Jia Yan’s accelerated state, the super giant glires chasing him from behind suddenly reduced their speed.

They didn’t want to make intimate contact with their fellow self-clamping glires!

But Jia Yan didn’t slow down at all, he charged straight into the enemy lines at his maximum speed!

In the blink of an eye.

Jia Yan crashed into an ordinary glire!

Boom!

Jia Yan could hear the sound of the collision ringing out!

With a body size of around 10cm facing off against him, a 25cm giant Mosquito, it could only be blown away!

But his momentum was slightly hindered!

“Charge again!”

Jia Yan continued to increase his wing flapping speed, he didn’t have any time to react before he collided with another giant glire!

He was victorious in this collision again, but due to the different collision angle, the ordinary glire, after being knocked away, hit Jia Yan’s right wing which was flapping at high speed, causing him to lose balance in the air for a moment!

Smack, smack, smack!

Jia Yan felt that his wings should not have been injured, but his speed drastically decreased!

“No, no!

Stopping equals death!

Keep charging!

Wings, keep flapping!” Jia Yan’s massive body regained its composure in the air and increased its speed once more!

One step slower, and the army of glires would encircle him, then his situation would be truly hopeless!

“You glires, you must be used to being the king in this underground world, so you can’t bear to see another creature challenging you in the sky, wait for me!

If I escape this time, I will return to the surface.

But next time, I will come back fully prepared and kill you until you’re terrified!”

After being chased by the army of glires several times, Jia Yan was consumed by anger!

He only got a slight increase in speed, but a huge shadows quickly loomed in front of him!

Super giant class?

Good, I thought those ordinary glires weren’t enough for me to bully!”

Jia Yan’s compound eyes flashed ominously!

Just by looking at their bodies, he was not much different from the enemy’s 20 cm or so!

But Jia Yan was covered from head to toe in condensed armor, which made him look much heftier compared to the enemy.

It was obvious that he had absolute advantage in weight and brawn!

But Jia Yan was not being careless, because these giant glires were a group that had evolved to survive and reproduce in this underground world!

The creatures in this underground world were much stronger than their fellow kinsmen in the outside world, not only in size.

Even if the surface world glires were as large, they might not be able to compare to these underground world glires!

The super giant class glire blocking Jia Yan’s way, had a pair of sinisterly flickering compound eyes!

The greenish glow from the algae in the cave illuminated their figures!

Some ordinary glires were flocking towards Jia Yan who was flying in the air!

Even though these were just ordinary giant glires, if they were to entangle with Jia Yan, he would definitely be in a dire situation!

There’s no time to lose!

“Get out of my way!”

Jia Yan roared internally, as he charged towards the super giant class glire blocking his way!!
