【Seeking Collection】_1 (I’m sorry for the late update of this chapter due to my mood.

My sincere apologies!)

(But I’m still asking for your favorites!

I have to struggle like Jia Yan, fighting on the brink of death but never dying!

Please favorite!!)

Jia Yan flew ten meters high into the sky.

At this height, apart from some flying creatures, there should be no other creatures that pose a threat to him!

From ten meters high, he could see the scenery below in more detail!

The vast and huge space below was filled with dense vegetation resembling forests and shrubs.

Some of these plants resembled trees.

However, upon closer examination, they were completely different, somewhat similar to some weeds in the outside world.

If he had to describe them, they were like those weeds, magnified hundreds of times, grown into gigantic trees, towering like pillars in this space!

Some of them even reached over twenty meters high, touching the ‘ceiling’ of this underground world!

Click, click!

An eerie sound came from beneath the ‘trees’ where Jia Yan was standing.

Jia Yan quickly turned his attention to it.

He saw a huge, flaming-red centipede crawling out from the shrubs formed by the weeds.

Its size and appearance were very similar to the one he had seen before.

Unless he was mistaken, it should be the same one!

The centipede was nearly two and a half meters long, as large as a water bucket, and seemed to be the king of all creatures.

Just as the centipede reached the river to drink,!

Splash!

A creature that seemed like an insect but also looked different suddenly shot up from the water.

The length of that creature wasn’t clear, but the part of its head and body exposed above the water already exceeded the size of the centipede.

The creature had compound eyes just like Jia Yan, and there was a chilling glow in them at that moment!

“What…What is that?!”

Frightened, Jia Yan immediately rose higher into the air.

The creature was waving its pair of forelegs!

The forelegs were as thick as a human’s arms but much longer than a human’s body.

They were reaching out to strike the flaming-red centipede at the river bank!

The centipede was significantly smaller in size and should not have been a match for it, but at the moment the forelegs were about to strike, the flaming-red centipede curled up into a ball!

The whole body of the flaming-red centipede took the shape of a ball, looking like a massive pumpkin!

The forelegs swiped at it but could only leave faint white marks on the hard exoskeleton of the flaming-red centipede.

Clang, clang!

The sound of metal hitting metal echoed through the air.

Sparks were flying where the two exoskeletons met!

After swiping its front legs a few times and failing to grab the flaming-red centipede, the massive creature sank back into the river…

And on the other side, it was as if nothing had happened.

The flaming-red centipede stretched itself out.

Then it put its lips into the river and started slowly drinking the clear river water.

“What a wonderful world!” Jia Yan exclaimed in amazement.

“But I’m not here to admire the scenery, and it’s not like I’m human.

I can’t get any benefits from exposing this place!”

“My goal is to explore the secrets of this place.

Since the Northeast Wild Tiger’s factory was able to extract black liquid through that crevice and process it into a purple-red medicine, then if I explore this place of origin, I should be able to find something as well!”

Jia Yan started flying around the five-kilometer area.

“There’s plenty of water in the rivers here, and there are those gigantic trees, not to mention that monstrous creature I’ve never seen before.

All these things hint that something strange is going on in this place, causing the plants and animals to grow strangely large!”

Buzz, buzz, buzz…

Just as Jia Yan was lost in thought,!

An eerie sound, like the buzzing of Jia Yan’s wings, echoed through the vast underground world!

Jia Yan saw the flaming-red centipede that was resting by the river, acting as if it had heard a horrendous noise!

It immediately speedily wriggled into the shrubbery.

In the blink of an eye, it was out of sight!

It seemed as if more massive creatures were moving within the shrubs.

Jia Yan hadn’t seen them hiding anywhere earlier, but now they were moving and concealing themselves deeper inside the vegetation, as if terribly frightened.

“What is it?”

Jia Yan became alert too.

With his compound eyes, he could see in the dim light, and he looked towards the direction of the sound, hundreds of meters away!

Buzz, buzz, buzz——

In Jia Yan’s line of sight, a cloud of specks as small as dust was rapidly flying towards him!

They were getting closer and closer!

By the time they were about fifty meters away, Jia Yan finally got a clear look at them!

“It’s Glires!

But its head…”

Glires belonged to the Vespidae family of insects and also had another name — wasps!

They resembled bees in appearance.

A normal glire was about 1.5 centimeters long.

Yet the Glires flying towards Jia Yan now were about ten centimeters long!

They were not much different in size from Jia Yan!

And their number was extremely high, at least a hundred of these massive Glires were flying towards Jia Yan in the sky.

Looking at these fierce and numerous creatures, Jia Yan’s scalp tingled, and he quickly spread his wings and took off!

He flew back the way he came!

The sound of his wings unfurling was a constant ‘buzz’.

However, it differed slightly from the sound produced by the Army of Weasels behind him.

This difference indicated that no matter how many times Jia Yan had mutated, his speed was at most equivalent to the weasels, and seemed slightly slower!

But the difference in speed was not very significant!

“Quick!

I didn’t expect so many horrifying flying creatures here.

I might not be afraid of one or two creatures, but with so many, I have no choice but to run!

No wonder all the gigantic creatures hid hastily; it turns out that these large numbers of weasels had appeared.”

Jia Yan flapped his wings and flew swiftly!

He estimated that the frequency of his wing flaps had reached around 700 per second!

His strong wing muscles, like tireless machines, were furiously flapping away.

The resulting loud noise echoed far and wide in this vacant underground world.

But the sound he made flapping his wings was completely drowned out by the Army of Weasels behind him!

This was the sound of a hundred weasels, roughly the same size as Jia Yan, flapping their wings!

Buzzing sounds filled the air!

Everywhere the Army of Weasels went, no creature dared to show themselves!

Jia Yan looked at the sharp tail needles on these genuine bee-like creatures and felt his own fake version was absolutely pathetic!

Even after his third mutation, his tail needle retained its opening functionality, allowing him to ‘mate’.

But because of this retained function, no matter how sharp his tail needle was, it couldn’t compare to a real bee’s tail needle.

Additionally, the Army of Weasels chasing him were not the tiny creatures from the outside world, but the result of unknown evolution, growing to a colossal ten centimeters long!

Their tail needles, which you knew were formidable without even having to test them, were incredibly menacing!

Jia Yan flew ahead, followed by an entourage of ‘tails’!

It seemed the Army of Weasels was very dissatisfied with this impostor who had invaded their airspace.

Each of them seemed to harbor deep-seated resentment, chasing Jia Yan at full speed!

With a ‘whoosh’!

Jia Yan finally flew back to his original cave.

However, the Army of Weasels was not willing to give up.

They followed Jia Yan’s path directly into the cave!

The cave was so quiet, only filled with pale, aged bones slowly eroding and merging with the soil.

But this peacefulness was destined to be broken today!

Firstly, Jia Yan, the source of the noise, descended from some crack in the cave.

And now, the maker of the racket, was leading a large army of weasels into this quiet cave in a panic!

Buzzing…

Buzzing…

Two completely different sounds.

Jia Yan was pushing his flight speed to its limits, barely managing to keep a little distance from the weasels!

“What?!

There’s one that’s super fast!”

Just as he was about to reach the crevice, Jia Yan looked back!

He was shocked to discover that one of the weasels in the army was a monstrous one, more than fifteen centimeters long.

The moment Jia Yan accelerated, this creature also increased its speed!

Within a few seconds, it had closed half the distance between them!

They were about to collide!

“Let’s get in!”

At that moment, Jia Yan suddenly changed direction and shot upward!

Above this part of the cave was a crevice formed by many years of underground water flow.

This was the path Jia Yan came down from!

The monstrous weasel seemed to not react in time to Jia Yan’s sudden change of direction!

It continued to charge forward in a straight line for a considerable distance before halting!

The monstrous weasel’s compound eyes refracted the glowing algae, and now the smaller members of the Army of Weasels had also reached its side.

However, the monstrous weasel did not stop with these members of the Army of Weasels.

Instead, it changed direction and followed Jia Yan into the crevice at full speed!

As for the other members of the Army of Weasels, they hovered down for a moment, then one by one gave up the chase and returned the way they came…

“Even alone, you dare to chase down?!”

Jia Yan was flying at high speed through the tunnel, the light here was dim due to the scarce luminescent algae.

He saw that among the pursuing weasels, only the largest one was still chasing him with a ferocious look in its compound eyes!

I might be scared of an army composed of over a hundred giant weasels, but you dare to chase me alone, do you really think I, Jia Yan, am easy to bully?

Although this giant weasel was even bigger in size than Jia Yan.

But Jia Yan was the most powerful mosquito after three mutations.

If he couldn’t even defeat a giant weasel, his numerous mutations would’ve been for nothing!

“Perfect!

I’ll test how strong I’ve become after my three mutations on you!”

So thinking, Jia Yan suddenly stopped ascending and made a sharp turn!

He charged at the monstrous weasel chasing him!
