Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4174  Dealing With The Aftermath

Davis saw that Fairy Runalise fainted again before he sighed.

He guessed someone like her wouldʼve rarely experienced pain.

Even the Heavenʼs Warrior with the Prime Titan Body Physique wouldʼve rarely taken any damage from an equal-level cultivator who wouldʼve otherwise warranted him to train harder and build a stronger pain resistance.

Even Davis didnʼt want to go through feeling what it would be like to come under the terrifying combination of the three laws, much less obliteration energy. It was packed with tremendous destructive power and seemed to last long with gut-churning, bone-twisting, and skin-tearing pain.

Even Stella couldnʼt clear the remnant energy, causing Illumina and a few others to remove them from space using their own energy. Fenren, Soaren, and Andiron helped them remove it.

Nonetheless, he confiscated their rings and went through them, his eyes lighting up from the treasures they held. There seemed to be many treasures to help body tempering and soul forging. It would certainly be an addition to the Treasury.

Regardless, it wasnʼt worth mentioning in front of the current him. Without feasting on resources way more fruitful than them, how could he be not stronger?

He turned around to look at Tia go through that Mystic Divinerʼs rings. This Mystic Diviner had as many as five spatial rings on each of his fingers, and considering he was also a supreme genius who possibly had many achievements to his name if he could find them here, his pockets should be deep.

However, Tia didnʼt seem interested in anything monetary.

Instead, she and Lereza searched for any kind of mystic art that she could find.

Davis didnʼt bother with them and went to Stella, who was lecturing the two Elders about what to do and what not.

”Yes, yes. We will definitely not speak a word of it, as we said. We do not want to die but, most importantly, harm the sect.”

”Indeed, even if we become sinners, if those two Heavenʼs Warriors couldnʼt survive, then we arenʼt in any position to go against you and become an example of extermination.”

Elder Ramus and Elder Nonek did their best to explain themselves to Stella, whose pressure was as heavy as a mountain. She was using her tree manifestation to intimidate them, making Davis inwardly chuckle.

Her human appearance was rather cute, after all, especially her mannerisms.

Regardless, it seemed that they had already agreed not to expose their location and even swore an oath to the heavens. For Level Nine Sovereigns who were about to have a breakthrough to Level One Autarch Stage, going against an oath would be devastating. Not only would they quickly receive a lightning strike, but they would also have their tribulations strengthened.

It went with the saying- do not be loud when in front of a valley. You will never know what sleeps ahead.

He felt like he could believe their oath as he confirmed through Heart Intent that their feelings were genuine. However, feelings at a moment like this could said to be fickle at best. If they saw an opportunity, they might change their minds.

Still, as long as they held to their current conviction, Davis was willing to give them a chance.

He wasnʼt out to get anyone. He wasnʼt out making enemies. As far as he considered, there were only flies who wanted to snuff out his flames, and whoever came his way with ill intentions would be burned to a crisp.

He paid the two Elders a visit, coldly glanced at them, and left.

That alone left them in a perpetual cycle of fright as they started thinking that they were marked without knowing. The chances that they would act out of place just went abysmal.

ʼNow then… what should I do with these Heavenʼs Warriors…ʼ

While Davis was wondering, as he returned to the battlefield, he sensed someone appearing from the distance. His eyes couldnʼt help but brighten up as a perpetual smile appeared on his face.

”Myria…”

Her undulations were calm and solid, but he could tell that she had reached Level Three Immortal Emperor Stage.

Myria also couldnʼt hide her smile, but it was behind her veil. She adjusted the strands of hair from the wind brushing against her and gazed at him with a longing emotion. She had been secluded for two months, after all.

Davis wanted to kiss her, but his friends were also there. He knew she wouldnʼt like it, so he relegated to a hearty and soft hug as he held her.

”I missed you.”

”I missed you, too~”

Myriaʼs voice was no more than the sound of a buzzing mosquito. She looked happier than Davis.

”Iʼm finally at the threshold for making the pill you want. Tina and Dalila should also have completed the preparations.”

”Thatʼs great!” Davis heartily laughed.

The two of them separated, and Myria glanced at the Heavenʼs Warriors, ”I would have liked to remain in seclusion and enter Level Four Immortal Emperor Stage for better chances in the pill concoction, but Iʼm out of resources, and I sensed this battle. You shouldnʼt play with your life like this…”

Myria berated him at the end. Just by the remnant undulations left on the battlefield, she could tell that he didnʼt use the black-white stone but used his prowess to defeat them. She couldnʼt help but feel that it was very dangerous.

”Donʼt worry. I do get carried away while playing, but Iʼm not foolish. Lancelot was of immense help here.”

Davis showed off the silver spear, praising Sophie for her great work of art. It didnʼt have a single nick despite it being just a Low-Level Empyrean Grade Spear. Other spears of the same grade wouldʼve already been damaged from that battle.

”It is indeed marvelous. I have never heard of such a weapon. After all, chaos-attributed ores couldnʼt be obtained anywhere in the Upper Realms. Only powerful characters like the World Master and other cultivators in Greater Realms are capable of finding such ores. I suspect the World Master is even capable of producing it.”

Davis also couldnʼt help but nod silently.

Evidently, that damned woman was so powerful that she created a universe out of her body. He was inspired and hoped to become as powerful as her one day. The only mistake she made was becoming too powerful in one go that the heavens quickly tried to delete her before she could gain hegemony.

However, the World Master seemed to accept that as a punishment because she realized that she imitated the Three-Layered Universeʼs structure, which was tantamount to truly offending the heavens.

Davis was careful not to become too powerful in one go.

His union with Myria and creating a new reincarnation cycle out of it was one such move. He knew he shouldnʼt do it.

It was said that having too much knowledge of things you shouldnʼt know can get you killed. In the same way, having too much power in one sitting without gaining enough influence would also invite disaster from those who are already above as they did not like someone lowly sitting on the same throne as them.

”What should we do with them?” Davis asked.

He was at a loss for what to do since killing them would alert the Heavenʼs Warriors. They probably had many methods method to track the location of a Heavenʼs Warrior who was killed, so he understood that he would be placing his mini-realm in jeopardy if he were to end their lives here.

After defeating them, it ruined the purpose of protecting the realm if he were to kill them.

However, he did want to kill them since they were hateful Heavenʼs Warriors.

It was a dilemma.

Of course, he could transport them to other realms using Stella and kill them there with Illumina or Lereza. It was already planned if Heavenʼs Warriors came barging through their door. However, a mere tracing of their previous whereabouts would expose that these two were helping the Quake Fist Sect the entire month.

If the Heavenʼs Warriors investigated, they would quickly find the discrepancy, which would result in them being found shortly.

Davis didnʼt care about being found, but he wouldnʼt do well if his familyʼs peace was disturbed. His initial plan was that if he got caught, he should get caught by himself and roam like a reaper in the Whispering Wildlands Lower Realm. This way, he wouldnʼt trouble his family. Even if the mini-realm was found, they could merely transport themselves to another mini-realm and continue on with their cultivations.

He would get to fulfill his wish of retaliating against those flies, and his family would still be safe.

However, if they managed to mark Stella by collecting her aura from here, it was practically over. They would no longer be able to use Stellaʼs mini-realms or, at least, hide in one. Even karmic veils wouldnʼt help hide such a huge target.

”Leave it to me. I have an idea of turning them into pills.”

”Eh?” Davis turned to look at Myria with a dumbfounded expression.

When did his sweet and divine mother of a long-lost generation become a demonic cultivator?

Then he realized it wasnʼt Myria but Ellia, who suddenly sprouted from nowhere when Stella teleported her here.

It seemed that she also stepped into Level Six Immortal Emperor Stage, raising her cultivation base by one level higher than before.

”Just kidding~” Ellia giggled, ”But leave it to me. I want to test something with them.”

”What do you want to do?”

Myria seemed skeptical. She wasnʼt sure of the look in Elliaʼs eyes, which were full of mischief.

”That is-”

”Big brother, big brother!~” Suddenly, Tiaʼs excited voice echoed out.

”Hmm?”

Davis turned to look to see Tia coming running at him. She possessed a cheerful expression on her face as she came over before she handed him a jade crystal, giggling as though she had achieved something to be proud of

He curiously accepted the jade crystal from her and went through it. Myria and Ellia also turned curious.

After reading through it, his expression turned astonished.

”So this is how he found our mini-realm…”
