Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4170  Battling Two Mid Stage Autarchs

”Divine Emperor of Death!”

Fairy Runalise waved her silver sword as she yelled out with her cherry lips. Her expression that was filled with composure shattered, replaced with an unseen solemnity as she pointed the silver sword at him.

It radiated an immense soul might.

However, she couldnʼt see the Divine Emperor of Death display a sliver of panic, which made her feel like they hadnʼt chanced upon them but were entrapped.

Heavenʼs Warrior Yubin also seemed to be solemn.

He clenched his teeth and summoned all his power. His slim and toned body suddenly turned bulkier, and his height reached a whooping two meters, looking absolutely monstrous. Heavenly might radiated from him as his powerful body thrummed with veins appearing all over.

Davis saw that one was a body cultivator and the other a soul cultivator.

He guessed they should have physiques involving their trait. The question was if they possessed avatars since they could easily expose them, but considering they were Autarchs, it was doubtful if they had avatars.

From what Davis had seen and knew, most Autarchs lacked an avatar.

And unlike the avatar, a soul body is a loosely separated part of a soul. Stellaʼs innate realm defenses will make sure that information through soul sense isnʼt permitted to leave as long as the power of the intruder doesnʼt overly surpass Stellaʼs prowess. After all, a soul bodyʼs range is that of the soul senseʼs range, or double or more depending on the level of their soul strength and technique used.

It was unknown if these Level Three Autarch Heavenʼs Warriors had their soul bodies outside, but even if they did place their soul bodies outside, it would be difficult to transmit information. Mingzhi and the others already knew this scenario was possible, so they had also placed sealing formations near the entrance. Hence, they could be said to be unexposed at the moment.

However, Davis kept his eye on the female Heavenʼs Warrior. Since he felt like she was a soul cultivator, he felt it was possible she could transmit information to her soul body from a long distance. He guessed there was a fifty-fifty chance, but only if this Heavenʼs Warrior actually left behind a soul body in a near place like the Quake Fist Sect.

Davis flipped the spear with his leg and grasped it as he pointed at them. His sudden movement alerted the Heavenʼs Warriors as they held their breaths.

”Well, you two should be aware that I canʼt kill you, so come at me all you want. Weʼll have fun.”

Davis held Lancelot with a single hand. He possessed an amused smirk on his face as he could feel that he could wield Lancelot better. Clearly, entering Level Five Immortal Emperor Stage had given him enough power to cement his prowess in Level Four Empyrean Stage, giving him the strength to wield Lancelot with ease.

However, his increase in physical strength didnʼt come from that solely.

”Divine Emperor of Death, receive your death!”

Feeling angered, Heavenʼs Warriors Yubin made the first move after two seconds of silence.

He pounced towards Davis with full force, seemingly holding nothing back. The space around them trembled as Stella gave it her all to hold the space here, using an enormous amount of energy. It made her shudder.

Due to her efforts, the space didnʼt break apart.

However, Davis felt an enormous amount of pressure from Heavenʼs Warriorʼs rush.

*Bang!~*

Heavenʼs Warrior Yubin punched out with his giant fist. It clashed against the body of the Lancelot, causing the skin on Davisʼs hands to crack and bleed. However, he firmly held Lancelot in place and managed to receive the attack. It made him slide a few meters away before he came to a stop.

However, blood was leaking from his lips. His internal organs seemed to have been shaken.

”…!”

Heavenʼs Warriors Yubin was stunned as he stood frozen.

He actually managed to injure the Divine Emperor of Death, who had fought Autarch Elluro Coldwing and survived? Whatʼs going on!?

Fairy Runalise was also stunned. Could it be that they actually had a chance to survive this ordeal?

”Holy shit, Lancelot. You actually withstood the attack of a Level Three Autarch whose prowess is two levels higher…! You effectively stopped an attack from a Level Five Autarch, and you didnʼt even tremble from the impact.”

Davis praised Lancelot using their connection, causing Lancelot to laugh happily.

”Master, you are as outstanding as ever to be able to withstand that attack. I thought you were a goner since you didnʼt use that black-white stone to shield yourself.”

”Ai, I canʼt keep using that, or I would become too reliant on it and only be using my soul force. From now on, we need to battle together, Lancelot. Yama too.”

”Master~”

Lancelot seemed to be in tears as its voice appeared emotional, but outside, only its body was shuddering.

However, the two Heavenʼs Warriors interpreted this as the spear was going to break, causing them to look at each other and nod.

They both rushed at the same time from two different directions.

They could barely follow each otherʼs movements in the fog, but that was enough for them.

”Master, theyʼre coming.”

”I know. ”

Davis reacted. He took a step back, seemingly disappearing into the fog.

”No, you donʼt!” Fairy Runalise waved her other hand.

”Heavenʼs Vindictive Light!”

A pillar of silver light appeared above Davis before it shot down on him. His leg barely got scratched by it, but Davis frowned as he felt a mark appear on his forehead. He used his soul sense to see a circular mark with a dot at the center.

ʼA karmic-light technique?ʼ

Davis frowned. He was about to erase it using his soul force but decided against it a moment later.

He moved within the fog and rushed from Fairy Runaliseʼs blind spot. With Lancelot in hand, he rushed towards her using his ethereal Hateless Ghost Emperor Steps. It made his movement nearly undetectable. Even the chaotic energy stemming from Lancelot blended with it.

However, Fairy Runalise suddenly turned to look at him, her white eyes shining with a mysterious jade light.

Davisʼs eyes narrowed.

Still, he didnʼt stop and rushed towards her, but a huge figure appeared before him. He appeared like a mountain standing in his way.

”Be crushed to death!”

Heavenʼs Warrior Yubin roared and slammed his fists that were up in the air against Davis.

Davis had no choice but to cancel his attack. However, he didnʼt appear to care and even increased his speed.

”…!”

Heavenʼs Warrior Yubin shuddered at the sudden burst of speed. It was as though the Divine Emperor of Deathʼs feet lit up in flames, exploding in speed. However, he also didnʼt give up, and his giant fists descended.

*Bang!~*

The void dust sand erupted amidst the fog, and blood splashed in copious amounts.

It sprayed in two different directions, causing Fairy Runaliseʼs expression to change. The chances both were heavily injured were huge.
