Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4155  Chaotic Spear

Davis heard about the recent developments from Nightveil and Mingzhi.

He praised both of them for not disturbing him during this time, as he had fun without any worry. Now, it was time for him to head out, but before he went, he saw Sophie.

Bylai was also together with her.

The blonde-haired and golden-haired beauties looked fabulous together. If he hadnʼt spent time with Tina and Dalila, he wouldʼve been seduced easily.

”Hereʼs your Lancelot.”

Sophie gave him the chaos-attributed spear, making Davis excited. He did hear Sophie finished upgrading Lancelot, but after Sophie exited seclusion, she re-entered seclusion to fine-tune the armaments of a few weapons depending on the requests of other sisters.

Back then, Sophie had also given him Lancelot when she had also upgraded Yama to High-Level Immortal Emperor Grade Scythe. However, Lancelot was incomplete, and Sophie wasnʼt exactly fine with her creation, so he gave it back to her. She was adamant about perfecting it, and she finally did so, making him feel full of awe.

It must be known that Sophie had just reached Level Seven immortal Emperor Stage, and even with her prowess, she barely reached Level One Empyrean Stage. For her to make a chaos-attributed Low-Level Empyrean Grade Spear went beyond any forgemaster, he was aware of.

”It wasnʼt like I did it myself. I had Bylai and Lerezaʼs help again~” Sophie brought her tongue out, appearing embarrassed.

Davis chuckled at his humble seventh wife, ”Still, for you to have reached such a level, Iʼm extremely proud.”

”Itʼs all thanks to you and the forging tableʼs scroll. The author of this scroll is a supreme genius of Forging. They left behind numerous forging methods, which helped me do much trial and error. Fortunately, we had many ores to waste. Otherwise, I wouldnʼt have been able to raise my level to this degree.”

”You could be considered a Forge Empyrean, right?”

”Yeah, I would pass that exam with ease. After all, Lancelot is a spear that is comparable to a Mid-Level Empyrean Grade Spear!” Sophie said excitedly.

”Master!” Lancelotʼs voice also echoed out with excitement.

Davis held Lancelot, taking another look again.

The spear was sleek, its shaft shining with a brilliant gray luster like a polished stone. Its point was a sharp tip, fully silver, gleaming with a terrifying radiance. It practically reflected all the illusory stars in the shiny night sky of this mini-realm, appearing as though it would explode with a cosmic power but not as the chaotic energy dwelling within it was extremely dense.

With his current prowess, Davis was able to reach Level Four Empyrean Stage in prowess barely. He had to use chaotic energy techniques to reach that level.

Even then, this damned spear was extremely heavy. His veins could be seen over his arm while he was holding it. However, he was still capable of holding it with one hand, so it was impossible for him to use it in battle.

”Woah~”

Sophie placed her hands on her cheek, appearing awed. She wasnʼt able to lift this spear a single time and had to use many contraptions to keep it in place after the refining process when she was tempering it. After all, after it solidified, its weight increased by many times.

Davis licked his lips.

He couldnʼt help but merely wave it without restriction, causing a clean tear to appear in space.

”Ah!~ Who is breaking my realm?”

”Sorry, sorry!”

Davisʼs expression changed as he apologized to Stella. He was giving her a headache from having to heal from such a powerful tear.

The void trembled with a cute ʼmmphʼ before the presence disappeared.

”Haha…”

Davis, Sophie, and Bylai could only laugh wryly. After all, there was a ban on Empyreans and Autarchs. They should not use their strength here, or it would be detrimental to the realm. Because of this, the bandit magical beast group also had no choice but to stay put. However, they liked the peace after a long time of having to roam around to protect themselves.

”Lancelot, you have become too powerful. Youʼre finally more powerful than me, so I can swing you to my heartʼs content.”

”Thank you, master!”

Lancelot reciprocated Davisʼs excitement. The former had always wanted to stick with Davis, not wanting to be abandoned. However, Lancelot had never been able to catch up to Davisʼs growth. Even Yama had become redundant now and needed an upgrade.

However, the Gensiumite Ore was already used for Yama to build its base, so it was capable of improving to the Peak-Level Empyrean Grade like every other new armament that Sophie had created. Only, the way the armaments improved differed from the other ores that were used.

For example, with the Gensiumite Ore as the base and using a blood-attributed ore, the armament should be able to improve its strength by drinking blood. In the same way, Davis predicted that Yama should be able to increase its strength by reaping lives. In other words, absorbing souls.

He wasnʼt sure whether it would be absorbing souls or absorbing the death aura of a dead soul.

In any case, he needed to try a method.

Or they could be upgraded by Sophie similarly, as long as she possessed compatible higher-grade ores.

Sophie eagerly awaited to improve Yama, but he rustled her blonde hair.

”Thanks.” Davis smiled gently, ”I appreciate the hard work youʼve been doing for so long. You too, Bylai. However, donʼt you worry. Whether it be Alchemy or Forging, I only need time to comprehend them. Right now, I could be said to be a Pill King and Forge King with a bit of knowledge above, but with teachers like you and Dalila, I will quickly comprehend them and become a Pill Empyrean and Forge Empyrean in the future. At that time, we can share the burden.”

”…”

Sophie blinked initially, but by the end, her eyes turned moist. She nodded, ”Mhm~”

Bylai also shyly smiled, ”You should learn about constructs too.”

”Of course. Iʼll personally come under your tutelage. If Bylai doesnʼt make our familyʼs constructs, we wouldnʼt want it~”

Davis smirked, causing Bylai to lower her head and smile shyly while Sophie patted her, encouraging her. After all, Bylai had less confidence in her constructs. In the beginning, she had even thought her sculptures were worthless, but Davis found much more value in them than anyone did.

That was what allowed her to advance from sculpting to forging constructs. Right now, she was able to make Peak-Level Immortal Emperor Grade Flying Boats by herself. However, the was no need to because they already stole and possessed a lot of Empyrean Grade Flying Boats.

Hence, she was still learning and improving day after day.
