Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3575  Nyoranʼs Clan

”Look, itʼs the Queen~”

”Oh my, sheʼs so beautiful.”

”Long live the Queen!”

The people of the Ghostly Crow Clanʼs capital city gathered to the sides and cheered for Queen Nadija as she walked past them.

It seemed she had won over the hearts of the people on top of having the recognition of many higher-ups, which could make her the Matriarch. Her King-Tier aura was more than enough for the current ruler of the Ghostly Crow Clan to cede their position to her.

Nonetheless, Davis didnʼt bother with what kind of presence or authority she lorded over.

”Lead me to Nyoran.”

He attached himself to their entourage and simply sent Queen Nadija a soul transmission, almost causing her to come to a stop, but she continued.

”…”

Everyone naturally noticed her slight pause but didnʼt think too much of it since they felt she was also taken aback by the cheers. After all, it was raining voices right now, with the people zealously doing a victory cheer.

”Good fortune!”

”Good fortune to the Lunar Crow Clan as well!”

”Young Mistress Rea Tyriel is a beautiful fairy who will make the Lunar Crow Clan shine!”

Rea Tyriel looked at them and nodded.

But only a few would be able to see the nervousness behind her gaze.

Davis caught it, but he didnʼt think it was strange.

It was the sixth day already, which meant there were only three days left for the Candidacy.

Of course, Davis had twenty-four more days left to train in the real world but Evelynn, Isabella and Shirley only had two or three days left as he wondered if they would spend their last day here with him.

He was fine if they didnʼt as he understood time was already squandered because of him and Myria in the first place. In fact, he lamented that he couldnʼt give them a faster time chamber to allow them to grow steadily.

There was only one individual whom he could remember was well versed in Time Laws and that was Myria but if she couldnʼt do anything about it and neither could he. As for Jade Aurora, he guessed that she was still learning.

Nonetheless, Queen Nadija led them through the bustling streets of the city, walking in a feather path that appeared below their feet before they finally reached the spire-like castle.

It was the textbook definition of a demon lordʼs castle in Davisʼs eyes but he knew better than to view it that way as the Ghostly Crow Clan loved dark things.

”You-!”

Finally, Davis was noticed.

*Bzzz!~*

”Ancestor, stop!”

A dark energy came flying at Davis from the entrance of the castle where a black-robed man had just walked out. He looked quite old, possessing purple-white hair and a long beard that flowed down all the way to his chest.

As soon as he recognized an intruder, he shook and sent a focused attack towards Davis.

Davis raised his hand. His avatar, made up of immortal soul force, thrummed before death energy surged all the way from the soul dantian and flew out. A terrifying atmosphere instantly encased the entirety of the entourage, causing many people to shudder on the spot.

*Wsszzzz~~*

Darkness energy and death energy in a simple exchange of energy waves, and the darkness energy directly collapsed from the encounter, causing that Ancestor to be shocked before realization hit him.

”E-Emperor of Death!”

At first, he wondered if it had been an assassin from the Ghost Tear Hall and quickly moved to counter the assassin but was afraid of harming the others, so he used a probing attack to chase the assassin away from Queen Nadija first.

He did so with immense control, not thinking that he could defeat the assassin in one move.

However, he never imagined that it could be the Emperor of Death.

Davis stopped to look at his hand, pursing his lips as he checked his prowess. At the same time, he understood that the Ghostly Crow Clan was really sensitive to concealed entities around them, so not only did Queen Nadija find him, but one of their Ancestors also found him.

ʼHhm… it makes sense…ʼ

However, he knew that they would not be able to find his real bodyʼs concealment.

His Heaven immortal Soul Vessel provided him with a prowess of two levels. His Mutated Supreme Immortal Sigil gave him a prowess of four levels. His current comprehension of Laws gave him more than two levels, and his top-tier Supreme Law Immortal Physique, Everlasting Samsara Tribunal Soul Physique, gave him more than four levels, bringing it to a total of thirteen levels higher for his prowess.

If he used reincarnation energy techniques to battle, he could enter fifteen levels higher in prowess with ease.

Nonetheless, since his base prowess was thirteen levels higher and the soul avatar only took the aspects of the soul to form like the Heaven Immortal Soul, Mutated Supreme Immortal Sigil, Comprehension of Laws but not the full aspects of the Everlasting Samsara Tribunal Soul Physique, its base prowess came to be a bit more than ten levels higher.

He guessed the prowess of the Everlasting Samsara Tribunal Soul Physique had been halved since it could not be replicated fully in the soul avatar. That was normal since an avatar wouldnʼt be able to replicate physiques unless there were special ingredients to accommodate it.

Even then, he figured that replicating his or Myriaʼs physiques would be impossible. Utmost, a miniature version of it seemed to be hosted in the soul avatars without the most unique aspects.

However, since the Solitary Soul Avatar Technique was kind of degrading at the Immortal King Stage without the necessary corrections, it could only harness eighty to ninety percent of the base prowess, which was nine levels higher.

Of course, if he used reincarnation energy as an avatar, he was sure he would be able to get his max prowess to eleven levels higher.

It was almost comparable to his old self before he improved the Everlasting Samsara Tribunal Soul Physique, which he felt was rather good for a mortal technique.

With nine levels of base prowess, it makes sense he was caught by Queen Nadijaʼs perception before an Ancestor finally spotted him.

ʼIt seems that using my soul body rather than my avatar is better for battles…ʼ

With the soul avatar having less prowess than his soul body, it fully became auxiliary, relegated to comprehending tasks. But unlike his soul body, the soul avatar had an enormous amount of energy to spare.

Thirty percent of his soul essence is only able to throw attacks that are eleven levels higher in prowess?

Davis guessed that his soul avatar would be able to function three to four times longer than him in battles, while the soul body would quickly fade away if it threw a few techniques.

”Stop!”

Two women shouted at the same time.

They were none other than Queen Nadija and Rea Tyriel, both of them standing before him.

”Itʼs you… donʼt attack him.”

Rea Tyriel raised her hand, ”Heʼs my guest.”

Davis turned to glance at Rea Tyriel.

As always, she was a bold woman who didnʼt bother to hide her face.

But from back then, she no longer held an immature aura. She was elegant with the amount of ornaments draping her body. She looked good with her striking appearance and clad in pristine white robe, which beautifully contrasts against her dark hair, there was a certain intensity to her beauty.

Her gaze was also sharp, and her nose was petite and delicate, contributing to the v-shaped symmetry of her exquisite face.

Her black hair cascaded around her shoulders in captivating manner as she walked towards him. The crown above her head also caused Davis to raise his brows as he sensed King-Tier undulations from her.

It seems that she had taken her pet, Black Tyrielʼs blood essence into her body to become King-Tier.

While he was assessing her, she finally appeared before him, standing face to face without a single hint of fear, and opened her mouth.

”Iʼm finally able to see you.”

”…”

Her words may have been confusing to the others, but Davis knew exactly what she wanted.

”If itʼs about your elder sister Raelyn Tyriel, then I really donʼt know about anything.”

Davis shook his head, causing Rea Tyrielʼs fists to clench.

”If only… if only you hadnʼt made it back, perhaps… the portal wouldʼve still been open…”

”Maybe…” Davis didnʼt deny but shrugged, ”I do think sheʼs safe as she shouldʼve sought help from the Lunar Crow Clan or some other power.”

”…”

”If there isnʼt anything else, Iʼll take my leave.”

”Wai-”

”Queen Nadija, where is Nyoran?”

”Please wait.” Queen Nadija spoke up, her voice slightly hesitant, ”She is still secluded to undergo her Immortal Emperor Tribulation, but it shouldʼve-”

”I see.”

Davis cut her off, understanding that Nyoran was probably undergoing her tribulation right now somewhere else.

He didnʼt ask more and walked into the palace by himself.

”Then Iʼll make myself comfortable at my friendʼs home if you donʼt mind.”

”…”
