Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3526  Swallowing The Chaotic Genesis Physique Pill

Davis arrived at the Divergent Peak.

It was a huge region, so he went around searching for Myria, his senses stretching outward to his limit in this suppressive region that was filled with remnants of heavenly destructive lightning energy.

He roamed across the mountains.

His soul was almost unimpeded because it was used to this type of lightning, so fifteen minutes later, he finally found her.

There was a palace, and strange life and death undulations radiated from that palace.

He wryly smiled, thinking he shouldnʼt enter since it would disturb her.

Instead, he calculated the distance and set up his own floating palace so that even if a heavenly tribulation fell on them, they wouldnʼt interfere with each other. When she came out, he hoped that she would wait for him if she was done first.

After all, it was more than a month since he last saw her.

Entering his floating palace, he went to the pool.

ʼWell… Iʼm probably gonna bleed a lot…ʼ

He wryly smiled, replacing the spirit water filled with recovery herbs with the Low-Level Empyrean Grade Life Essence Spirit Water he plundered from the World Master.

It was unknown what kind of changes his body would undergo, but he didnʼt expect anything less of it being tumultuous.

He also threw lotus petals all over the pool, making it appear aesthetically for another purpose. Once he was done with the preparations, he sat upon the big lily pad in the center in a cross-legged position.

Once he confirmed everything was alright, Eldia appeared.

He called her when he decided to set up his palace, so the timing was perfect. He told her to defend him and Myria and closed the doors to the pool chamber, entering closed-door seclusion.

Still seated, he brought out the jade container, breathing out a heavy sigh.

There was a chance once he opened the jade container that the Chaotic Genesis Physique might escape, but the chances were so minute he didnʼt need to bother.

However, was his luck good right now?

He didnʼt know, so with his eyes narrowed, ready to react in a split second and shut close the jade container, he slowly opened it.

A silvery gleam flashed past his figure, causing him to stop. The incredible pressure of the pill caused the lily pad to sink ever so lightly while ripples spread across the life essence spirit water.

He was like stranded in a sea, shaking amidst the waves.

Davis quickly summoned immortal martial energy from his chaotic seed instead of his middle dantian and tried to control the Chaotic Genesis Physique Pillʼs rage. It seemed to want out now that its seal had been lifted.

ʼWhat a difficult pill to convince…ʼ

Davis didnʼt think he would have to convince it to stay a second time after spending so much time to placate. Perhaps its instincts told it it was definitely going to be swallowed, and decided to escape.

However, he didnʼt placate it this time.

He opened the jade container fully and quickly caught it in his grasp.

He felt like the bones on his right hand were shattering but quickly threw it into his mouth, swallowing it inside as he let the chaotic seed handle it.

Lumps of silvery-grey chaotic energy surged forth from his middle dantian, encapsulating around the Chaotic Genesis Physique Pill, trying to take control of it. The moment the two met, Davis shuddered.

”Pui!~”

He spat out a mouthful of blood, his eyes exploding. Blood spurted from his nostrils and ears. A hole appeared in his throat before it could reach his stomach, the silvery pill with a metallic luster trying to escape.

It was covered in his blood, but Davis extended his hand out and caught it again.

The incredibly powerful chaotic energy barely held the Chaotic Genesis Physique in place, but he was able to pull it back as it seemed to have used up its last speck of disposable energy to retaliate, allowing him to put it back through the hole in his throat and send it straight to his stomach.

Once the Chaotic Genesis Physique helplessly reached his stomach, it shuddered.

It seemed to have undergone an intrinsic change, a change all pills go through, and that was to release their pill essence upon the protective layer of energy disappearing.

Another explosion occurred in Davisʼs body, and he spat a mouthful of blood, this time wasting less blood essence than last time.

However, he grinned, feeling the chaotic seed absorb the Chaotic Genesis Physique Pillʼs essence greedily as though it had been waiting for a long time.

ʼYes!!!ʼ

He inwardly celebrated, and while the life energy around him seemed to heal him passively, he imbued his full concentration in accommodating the immense chaotic pill essence all over his body as the chaotic seed undulations sent waves of refined chaotic energy that began to nourish his body.

However, the most delightful thing was the chaotic seed began to sprout, finally growing!

It began to grow slowly, and he watched the process go on with utter delight.

It began to grow larger and larger within his middle dantian, exuding immense vitality that healed his body. He didnʼt even need the life essence spirit water at this rate. Fortunately, he used less as the pool wasnʼt big enough here to use even ten percent of the Low-Level Empyrean Grade Life Essence Spirit Water he had.

It didnʼt become a waste.

However, what he wasnʼt aware of was that his body had turned into a fleshly skeleton at this point, his skin completely peeled off as the blood stained the lily pad completely, and the life essence pooled a few meters around him.

He subconsciously oversaw the absorption through his own experience with Body Tempering Cultivation while the chaotic seed constantly shattered, healed, and nourished his body.

Davis had actually entered a nirvanic state where he didnʼt feel pain nor pleasure although he was definitely feeling ecstasy in his mind as he watched the chaotic seed sprout, turn into a plant, vines spreading from it and encase his middle dantian.

The plant was silvery-gray, while the vines were silvery-purple as though incorporating something. There were minute differences between these vines as well, some even evolving into other colors.

Davis couldnʼt think, or rather, he focused all on absorbing the Chaotic Genesis Physique Pill through the chaotic seed. Sometimes, he broke down his body to accommodate more changes, and other times, his body shattered and mended itself.

However, with the life essence around, the chaotic seed seemed to be more focused on nurturing his body, allowing his prowess to increase!

At the same time, his comprehension of Chaos Laws also grew! It grew to a margin where it dashed past his comprehension of Destruction Laws that he gained through absorbing the pill essence of the Celestial Luminescence Pill.

Right now, he comprehended until there were nine minor resonances and three intermediary resonances, but he had yet to comprehend Level One Intent for Chaos Laws.

But right now, he did.

*Rumble!~*

The palace shook, and the skies thundered.

It was a common sight in the Divergent Peak, but right now, Davis may have broken a taboo as the entire Divergent Peak seemed to undergo a change. The tremendous amount of karmic burden remaining here after it was used all shot towards him, filling his soul with utter impurities.

At that moment, his bloodshot eyes opened wide, and his arrogant soul thrummed with rage.

”Scram!”

His voice thundered, reverberating across the skies while Eldia shuddered in the skies, wondering if something had happened for the entire Divergent Peak to tremble. However, a few seconds later, everything seemed to die down.

Even the rumbling skies of the Divergent Peak seemed to stop, and the remnant destructive lightning seemed to have gone for at least a hundred-kilometer radius.

”…”

Eldia blinked, looking here and there. A while later, she sighed, thinking she lost one of the places she liked again.

However, she looked at Davisʼs palace and could see a massive amount of silvery-gray energy swirling around. Turning her head to look at Myriaʼs palace, she saw a massive amount of iridescent black-and-white energy swirling around.

Together, it seemed like they had both hurricane levels of energies swirling around them.

She was shocked, even awed, while glancing at them, wondering how monstrous two humans could be in the same realm.

Were Immortal Kings even capable of this…?

She was an Immortal Emperor, and she didnʼt think she was capable of radiating this kind of tremendous amount.

Eldia was a wild spirit, and she had seen her fair share of humans and magical beasts, so it was difficult to think these two were even human as they seemed to embody the origin of everything and had a vast reserve, making her shudder.

”…!”

But abruptly, she turned around, staring at the empty space with wide eyes.

She seemed to become scared, her bosoms beginning to heave as her eyes remained in that direction.

”You cannot hide from heavenly lightning, and I guess… it is the same with you if I stand too close…”

Eldia heard a feminine voice, but after that, she could no longer sense that being that was watching Davis and Myria by her side. She looked around, appearing spooked, before acting like she hadnʼt heard anything and continuing to guard.

ʼI better ask more heavenly lightning from master…ʼ

She wandered around, never taking her watchful eyes off of them.
