Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3512  Taking Her Out?

”Have a good night~”

”Pretty sure they wonʼt come out until three days later at the very least, so we must bid them a good night for a week~”

”Ahahahaha~”

Davis pursed his lips, smiling at his beauties who came to send him and Everlight off into the nuptial chamber, which was, of course, his master bedroom.

”Obviously,” His lips curled, ”Take care of the home while Iʼm busy propagating my family.”

”Youʼre gonna die from loss of vitality and exhaustion if you keep propagating your family.” Mingzhi raised her fist.

”Careful~” Fiora gestured, ”Thereʼs killing intent hidden behind those words.”

”Ahaha~”

Davis and his beauties had a good laugh, teasing each other before they finally let him enter the nuptial chamber. At one point, it was pretty obvious to him that they didnʼt want to leave him as today had been a good occasion where they also got to expend their social battery, so they were looking for some love from him.

Sadly, Davis had Everlight to attend to, and they also understood it, finally leaving him in the end.

*Creak~*

The doors closed on Davis and Everlight, leaving them feeling some heat in their cheeks as Davis imagined he was now going to embrace a legendary vixen, literally, while for Everlight, it was her first time.

Nonetheless, Davis heaved a breath and turned to look at her.

”Everlight.”

”Ah~ Yes…”

Everlight responded while all the courage she had gathered before and even on the stage left her soul. She saw him look around at the fancy decorations and the natural wildlife atmosphere since the chamber seemed to have transformed into a mini jungle, a crimson bed lying in the center.

”A pity…”

Davis couldnʼt help but sigh again.

The effort his ladies put in to help him and Everlightʼs marriage was tremendous, and his heart ached not to be able to mess these up while having his and Everlightʼs essence all over the place.

”Come with me and be silent…”

Davis caught Everlightʼs hand, causing her to shudder.

However, she blinked, wondering where they were going as they werenʼt heading towards the bed.

They sneaked out from the closed balcony, heading towards another place. They exited the city with no problem, but Eldia looked at him from a distance, causing him to reveal himself and place a finger on his lips.

It caused Eldia to nod thrice as she appeared to have gotten the message before she continued to patrol the city.

”Husband…?” Everlight was truly confused.

Where were they going? And why?

”Everlight, we may attract a tribulation if we sleep together, so Iʼm just being overly careful and not letting your sisters worry…”

”Oh…”

Davis explained, causing Everlight to react as though she understood, but she really didnʼt. However, she didnʼt ask why since it was what he said and chose to believe it.

”That said… doesnʼt the moon look beautiful?”

Davis asked as he flew with Everlight in the moonlit skies, turning to look at her bejeweled face that shone under the moonlight, ”Iʼm not saying just to say it is.”

”It does look beautiful…”

Everlight smiled while looking at the skies, not understanding that he mentioned her when he mentioned the moon.

”Itʼs a full moon encapsulating the entirety of the world. If I remember correctly, wasnʼt it called the Lunar Reverence in the true immortal world?”

Davis silently chuckled, ”It could be.”

He continued to head further with Everlight, talking about nothing and just uttering sweet nothings which mostly eluded Everlight, causing him to have fun on his own. However, he guessed she was trying to answer truthfully and give an honest opinion to his questions.

”Sooner or later, youʼll understand what I meant all this while…”

”…?”

Everlight inclined her head, wondering what he meant as she tried to give her honest opinion.

But before she could ask, she came across a two-story tall palace in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by a forest with a lush charm, dark trees swinging in the wind and shining in the moonlight as though welcoming them.

”This is…?”

”Yes, this is where weʼre going to spend our first night…”

”…”

Everlightʼs cheeks reddened as she heard Davis. She thought they were going to spend some time together, talking about the world, since they really didnʼt have the time nor the capacity to know each other.

After all, she was with Saintess Lunaria to train, and he was somewhere else all the time, leaving them clueless about their likes and dislikes when it came to worldly things. She also heard humans tended to care more about likes and dislikes when it came to a relationship, and she was also keen to know more about him, so she entirely thought it was going to be an adventure, which low-key excited her.

”What? Are you dissatisfied?”

Davis saw her expression and provoked her, causing her to shake her head swiftly.

”No- I just thought it would be great if we could spend some time together.”

”Oh- we will.”

Davis brought her hand close and kissed her fingers, ”The dance of our night isnʼt just going to be about flesh.”

”…”

Everlightʼs cheeks were still red. She nodded, looking forward to both situations.

They descended, and someone came out of the mansion, causing Everlight to blink.

”Starlight Jade Wolf King…”

Patriarch Fenren Jadelight threw something to Davis, which Davis caught and smiled. The origin of this chapterʼs debut can be traced to N0v3l-B(j)n.

It was none other than the formation core of the palace.

”Aha, thanks, brother.”

Davis landed on the ground and fist-bumped with his sworn brother.

He had asked the Starlight Jade Wolf King to create this makeshift palace that was strong enough for a few nightsʼ stay. He wasnʼt kidding when he said he could possibly face a tribulation today and even end up thrown out of the world, although he felt that was unlikely.

Given everything, he certainly didnʼt want his people to worry over him.

”…”

However, the Starlight Jade Wolf King didnʼt look amused, causing Davis to give the formation core to Everlight and instruct her to enter.

Everlight didnʼt bicker and followed his commands, heading inside the palace, leaving Davis and Patriarch Fenren Jadelight alone.

After Everlight left, Davis opened his mouth.

”Brother, you look like you have something to say.”

The Starlight Jade Wolf King looked at him, asking with his eyes if he was serious before nodding his head.

”I didnʼt expect Everlight to be a Nine Lives Gracious Fox. Is that why you hid her from me? You thought I was going to steal her from you?”
