Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3499  In A Trance?

Davis returned to his home, still in a trance.

Even after he returned to his home and settled in the hall, he sighed. It appeared like his mind was fried or rewired, but in truth, he just couldnʼt forget Eldia.

”Sigh…”

He heaved a sigh again, wondering when he could do it with her again.

It was too addicting.

It took him a few more minutes to come out of it and extend his senses to see that it was quite boisterous outside and even somewhat on the inside. No one bothered him, or rather, he may not have paid attention, causing them to leave him alone and do their work.

The hall was fabulously decorated, and outside, the necessary venues were being built.

He guessed this was for his marriage with Everlight. It had been fast-forwarded from two months to this week, perhaps a day or two away from the speed of the preparation.

”Oh, youʼre finally out of it.”

Mingzhi walked in from the outside, and she smiled at him lightly, ”Whatʼs gotten you all thinking? Worried about the future again since everything seems so smooth?”

Davisʼs lips curled, ”Perhaps, but… guess what, I made love with-”

”You took Tia, didnʼt you?”

”…” Davis blinked, causing Mingzhi to smirk evilly.

”You finally went and touched the little girl you knew…”

”…”

Davis hid his face, full of shame. He shouldʼve known that word would get out in these two days, but he revealed his eyes and spoke, ”In that case, I already did that when I took you, and worse, you were this little…”

He lowered his hand to his knee with an evil smirk on his face.

”You-”

Mingzhi trembled, ”You werenʼt anywhere near me in my childhood, so that doesnʼt count!”

”Does that change the fact that I took care of you from the shadows?”

Davis sneered, causing Mingzhi to sigh, ”Fine, fine. I canʼt be bothered to argue with you, but now that you have your little aunt, donʼt do anything worse. It is a slippery slope, I would say… but I guess you rolled that ball when you accepted the second woman in your life…”

She shrugged, ”Honestly, I canʼt complain after begging you so much to let me into your heart, so… whatever~”

”Whatever you think about, do it with some restraint…” She pursed her lips, nodding her head to the side before she waved, ”See you later~”

”Come here…” Davis called.

”I canʼt…” Mingzhi pouted, ”You dropped too much load on me. I have to go.”

”I said… come here.”

Davis patted to his right side on the couch, ”Sit.”

”…”

Mingzhiʼs expression didnʼt seem good. She knew that the right seat beside him was very dangerous as it could mean… becoming wet. She couldnʼt afford to be horny at this time as she really had work to do, but hearing his tone of voice, she knew she had no choice.

She walked towards him and became seated to his right, but the proverbial rope didnʼt come to wrap her waist.

Instead, he looked at her face, intently staring at her, which made her heart shudder.

”W-What…?”

Davisʼs right arm rested on the back of the sofa, ”Mingzhi, out of all the beauties I love, youʼre the only one, if not the most difficult to handle.”

”…” Mingzhiʼs expression turned unamused, ”Well, Iʼm sorry about that…”

”You donʼt need to. Iʼm saying no matter what problems you have with me or anyone else, just pour it all. I can promise you not to fall out in love just because you wanted to remind me that Iʼm your husband and that I canʼt do whatever I want. I donʼt consider your opinion a nuisance. If you want to restrict me, feel free to do so. If I lose to the diplomatic tribunal of the harem council, then Iʼll adhere myself to the needs of you all.”

”…”

Mingzhi blinked with surprise. She couldnʼt help but smile fondly, ”Thanks~ I love you~”

Leaning slowly, she looked into his mesmerizing sapphire eyes and kissed him softly.

The whole family law was her idea, and it was mainly to look after the family, but it was also something that would restrict Davisʼs romantic adventures to a degree. Inwardly, she had been afraid that she was stepping out of bounds and wondered if he would hate her for this, but his words put that worry to rest.

Mingzhi moved back, knowing if it was with him, then she could accept anything.

”I love you too, Mingzhi.” Davis smiled, ”So, howʼs the family law coming up?”

Mingzhi grinned as she seemed to be in a good mood, ”Itʼs almost charted. However, Iʼll let you etch the Ten Commandments.”

”Ahaha!” Davis couldnʼt burst out laughing, ”What am I? A God?”

”Well, you donʼt have to be God to set absolute rules for the family you establish and provide for. Anyone who goes against these ten or so commandments will have to face your wrath or obtain your forgiveness. This is our lawful ode to you~”

”Mingzhi…”

Hearing Mingzhiʼs soft voice, Davis felt moved.

Naturally, this wouldʼve been passed by the harem council and was probably also Mingzhiʼs idea.

His women were just too good to him! He had no regrets about living this kind of life. As for loving more wives, rather than regret, he felt he owed his beauties every time he took one. He didnʼt want to disappoint them, but for himself, the feeling of repaying them was stronger than guilt or regret, so he didnʼt want to be indebted more, but it seemed like he could carry more debt than he thought he could.

Smiling lightly, he caressed Mingzhiʼs head and spoke, ”Also, in the past two days, I was with my twenty-fifth wife.”

”Who?” Mingzhi raised her brows.

As far as she knew, the last and twenty-fourth wife was none other than Schleya Vitalichor, and before her was the twenty-third wife, Everlight. Although both of them had yet to marry, their positions were already decided.

She also knew Tia had been researching with Ellia for the past two days, so she wondered whom he spent time with.

Looking at Mingzhiʼs face, Davis saw that Fiora hadnʼt said anything.

”I have taken Eldia as my twenty-fifth wife as we completed our first night in the Divergent Peak.”

”No way…” Mingzhi turned her entire body towards him, her face full of shock, ”You really banged a lightning spirit!? What was it like? Was she like a fleshlight vibrator!~?”

”…”

Looking at Mingzhiʼs enthusiastic face, he wondered why she even bothered to restrict him if she was not gonna act mad. However, he guessed that she had already accepted Eldia in her heart, as everyone had known Eldia for a long time.

”You really have an unrestrained mouth on you, but I love it…”

Davis chuckled before he kissed Mingzhi on the lips again, explaining to her what had happened between him and Eldia as well as Zephya.

After Mingzhi heard about Zephya, she gave him a side eye and left, stating that she had work to do and didnʼt forget to tell him to think about the commandments.

Left alone, Davis felt like he could gather his harem and let out the news that he accepted Tia and made Eldia his wife, but seeing that everyone was busy with the marriage preparations, cultivation, or looking after the children, he stood up and left the city.

He headed towards the Blazing Thunderlight Sect, intending to settle the debt.
