Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 2886 Heavenly Warriors

”Heavenʼs warriors...”

Davis looked elsewhere and sighed, ”It doesnʼt matter whether youʼre all heavenʼs warriors or ordinary immortals. Youʼll all meet the same fate if you attack me.”

”Haha~” The white-robed immortal looked as though he had heard something funny before pointing his silver sword at him again in a bratty manner.

”Let me tell you.”

*Bzz!~* His silhouette disappeared, crackling with blue lightning as he shot towards Davis.

The arc of blue lightning rushed past Davis, appearing on the other side before turning to look back, his expression looking smug.

”We came here to hunt Dead End but never did we expect a dead man to rise up from the grave. Itʼs a good thing we were late. Otherwise, you wouldʼve never showed yourself, you Anar-”

But suddenly, his eyes squinted as he looked at the arm that he had cut.

It was still there, unharmed, and even the sleeves were not torn, making him confused. Was what he saw an illusion, then?

”I didnʼt think you were skilled in Illusion Laws as well. It was no wonder you were able to fool people so easily into believing you were dead. What a devious Anarchic Divergent you are.”

There was one among them who appeared scared, but he didnʼt seem to be hesitant in saying what he wanted to say, trembling while declaring his observations. He clenched his fists, seemingly looking at Davis with disgust.

At the same time, the red-robed man seemed greatly taken aback as his eyes remained wide.

”Illusion Laws, Death Laws, and even Life Laws… just who are you? Your existence is the pinnacle I have ever seen, but it is a pity that such a character goes against the natural order. You should not… exist.”

Crimson-blue flames surged from the red-robed manʼs body, raging with an abnormal feeling that made Davisʼs eyes squint.

”Heavenly flames…?” He frowned before shaking his head, ”No, these flames are something that only has a sliver of heavenly flame energy in it.”

He also glanced at the white-robed Immortal King, who used lightning, feeling the same kind of energy from him.

”Of course. Didnʼt we say who we are?”

The red-robed man sneered, appearing to move forward in an instant with a powerful explosive speed, and slammed straight towards Davis, appearing to reach out his hands and join them, plunging it down into a furious flaming smash.

Davis raised his hand as he defended against the raging flames that smashed onto him. The flames enveloped him, causing the red-robed man to grin. His immortal king undulations churned, revealing that he was merely a Level One Immortal King. However, his prowess was enough to put him at a level where he reached Level Six Immortal King Stage.

His power had surpassed the might of what the Annihilative Immortal King Tribulation has thrown at the Anarchic Divergent so far, giving him immense confidence.

”Just five levels? The heavenʼs warriors arenʼt all that powerful, huh?”

”What!?”

However, the moment he heard the Emperor of Deathʼs unconcerned voice, he hurriedly stopped producing and throttling his flames that were trying to burn the Emperor of Death to ashes and swiftly retreated, appearing a few kilometers away.

As the crimson-blue flames receded, he saw the Emperor of Death become encased in a layer of grayish-silver. His pale skin mystically gleamed under the flashing lights of thunder, making him look otherworldly. At the same time, they saw him reach out his hand to the side, a little above his head.

*Bang!~*

As though catching something, he clenched his hand when suddenly a jade-crimson heavenly wind blade shook under his clasp, causing the three of their gazes to widen!

*Krrk~~~*

The annihilative heavenly wind tried to cut through the Emperor of Deathʼs hand, but it was to no avail. It was firmly held in his grasp, life energy even overflowing over it in order to encase it and do something that was unknown to them, yet they knew it wasnʼt anything good as they could feel the low rumbling of the heavens chill their souls.

”You-”

The red-robed man pointed at Davis, appearing immensely offended in heavenʼs stead as he couldnʼt watch this blasphemy. However, he was at a loss for words, not knowing what to say.

”How do you think I was capable of using heavenly lightning and heavenly flames? Since the heavens want me dead, Iʼll plunder from it. It couldnʼt be that you want me to stop, right?”

Davis laughingly asked them, causing their expressions to twitch.

”Lai, Raves. Donʼt hold back anymore.”

pαndα---noνɐ1,сoМ *Szzz!~* *Bzzz!~* *Whoosh!~*

The three of them attacked him from all three sides, causing Davis to not even have the luxury to stand still as he hurriedly threw the refined annihilative heavenly wind essence to his life ring.

Since he essentially seduced the will of the annihilative heavenly wind, he didnʼt need to worry about it rampaging inside and killing Yilla Zyrus unless, of course, she were to go to it by herself and touch it.

*Boom!~*

A giant wave of flames exploded in the place where Davis stood in the air. However, he seemed to have successfully dodged as he could be seen exiting the scorching atmosphere from above. Just as he even gained sight of the horizons that were still darkened by his ungodly tribulation, it was soon covered by a white-robed man who slashed his silver sword at him vertically, splitting him into half as blood spurted and organs flowed out like it was a messy kill.

”What are you grinning for, Lai!? Move!”

Abruptly, he heard Ravesʼ voice and moved ever so lightly when he found a kick smashing his abdomen and sending him flying.

”Pui!~”

The red-robed man, Lai, spat out a mouthful of blood, flying all the way up to a few kilometers before stopping. His gaze was shaken and his vision blurry, but as he saw the purple-robed man, a mere Level Nine Immortal Stage Cultivator, take on two Immortal Kings whose full prowess reached Level Six Immortal King Stage was simply incredulous!

*Bang!~*

Another annihilative heavenly wind, but seeing Davis easily destroy it and encompass its essence in his power and effortlessly move around, their expressions were shaken.

Indeed, Davis dodged or blocked every single one of their attacks.

He was shocked to see them attack with no repercussions of being targeted, but he quickly accepted that it is what it means to be a heavenʼs warrior. Otherwise, what he experienced didnʼt make sense.

Nonetheless, right now… he was purely a show-off.

After all, his energy was rapidly draining despite the calm and steady facade he displayed outside.

He didnʼt have a problem dealing with the annihilative heavenly wind tribulation nor the annihilative heavenly lightning tribulation, of which he dealt with the latter easily due to it only reaching Level Five Immortal King Stage in prowess by his estimate.

As for the annihilative heavenly wind tribulation, it seemed to have begun with a weak heavenly wind blade that was at peak Level Four Immortal King Stage in prowess.

However, these three heavenʼs warriors- they had almost reached the full extent of his prowess, which was somewhere in the middle of Level Six Immortal King Stage, disallowing him to hold back while battling, and he discovered it to be annoyingly difficult to keep the evergrowing heavenly wind blades at bay as they started to grow in power.

*Boom!~*

By the time he caught the third heavenly blade, it had already neared the mid of Level Five Immortal King Stage, still not enough to harm him but with three pesky mosquitoes constantly hovering around him, throwing-

”Heavenly Inferno Wave!”

A powerful shockwave of crimson-blue flames filled the area, trying not to let him have a single moment of reprieve.

”Take this! Serene Wind Cutter!”

Sharp blasts of wind sliced through the air with ease, abruptly differing in size, looking small in one second and bigger in another. They congregated like a flock of fish and swarmed around Davis, carving whatever was in their path.

”Nice move!”

Davisʼs eyes lit up as he saw insights for own one of Ravesʼ moves. But at the same time, a massive lightning bolt struck from above, turning his hand black as he used his bare arm to defend against it. Despite that, that arm seemed intact for a heavily injured injury.

But before he could even catch his breath, blue lightning flickered and-

*Bang!~*

He ended up clashing with Lai, whose silver sword was engaged in a tussle with his hand as though it was metal.

Laiʼs gaze was full of shock but heavy, not allowing his emotions to take over as he tried to kill the Emperor of Death. However, Davis was so incensed that he opened his mouth.

”Your will is the weakest of the three of you.”

”…”

”To me, you wonʼt ever grow as strong as them.”

”Damn, you!”

Lai roared, his sword suddenly slicing past Davisʼs hand, cutting it and slicing through his accursed body. However, he didnʼt let his guard down and slashed to the side.

*Bang!~*

”I wonʼt fall for the same trick thrice!”

”Hahaha~”

Davis lightly laughed as he saw them convene together while looking at him with an extremely solemn gaze; all the while, he still refined the annihilative heavenly wind essence that sought to destroy him.

He still appeared to be at ease, but inwardly, he couldnʼt help but shake his head.

ʼAa-ah~ Heart Intent isnʼt working charms on him anymore...ʼ
