More words were continuing to be revealed, but at this moment, an amused voice resounded across the hall.

”Elusive Phoenix Feathers, taken from a Variant Fire Phoenix known as the Four-Winged Fire Phoenix, has two more wings made up of energy connected to its wings overlapping with each other. This Blood Soul Contract is made from such a feather, having two layers to it rather than one, so when the outside is burned using fire phoenix flames, the inside naturally reveals itself as the only remaining side.”

The Blazing Thunderlight Sect Founder explained, but as they continued watching the revealing words, people couldnʼt help but find themselves shocked.

[

-Shirley Ashton shall not engage in any business or trade without the permission of her husband or his family. She shall not handle any finances or make any financial decisions without their approval.

-Shirley Ashton shall not entertain any male visitors without the presence of her husband or a member of his family. She shall not have any private conversations with men other than her husband or his family members.

-Shirley Ashton shall be responsible for managing her household in the Fire Phoenix Clan. She shall ensure that the household is run efficiently and shall take care of all domestic duties.

-Shirley Ashton shall not have any children without the permission of her husband or his family. She shall follow all the customs and traditions of the Fire Phoenix Clan regarding childbirth and child-rearing.

-Shirley Ashton shall enter the Candidacy as bound by her duty and responsibility to the immortal inheritance she obtained. Under no circumstances can she back out unless she is pregnant or have other duties initiated by the Fire Phoenix Clan to fulfill.

-Shirley Ashton shall share the immortal inheritance with the Fire Phoenix Clan without fail. The Fire Phoenix Clan can make as many requests as it wants, but Shirley Ashton doesnʼt reserve the right to refuse in accordance with forfeiting her right to all her properties.

-If Shirley Ashton fails to comply with any of the above conditions, she shall be subject to punishment by her husband or his family. The Aurora Cloud Gate shall not interfere in any way with the disciplinary actions taken by the Fire Phoenix Clan. If not, she would suffer soul ailments under the power of the Blood Soul Contract, causing her to become unresponsive and lethargic.

]

The Blood Soul Contractʼs clauses came to an end, leaving only the space to etch the soul mark, which didnʼt seem to be harmed at all by the flames.

Seeing this mockery of sincerity, many gazes churned, and countless hearts palpitated as they turned to look at the Fire Phoenix Clan.

The Blood Soul Contract wasnʼt fake. However, when burned, it would destroy the first layer and leave the second layer unharmed, leaving Shirley trapped for all her life. It was truly more draconian than any publicly exchanged Blood Soul Contract they had ever seen.

”What have you done?” Great Ancestor Zenflame stiffly turned to look at Patriarch Killian Zenflame, ”You said that you wouldnʼt do anything strange since he is dead.”

”Fool! This isnʼt the time for that.”

Patriarch Killian Zenflame appeared furious himself, unable to believe that their own immortal inheritors messed up the plan. He pointed at the trembling Shirley, ”Help me capture her, or do you want to see the Fire Phoenix Clan fall!?”

Great Ancestor Zenflameʼs fury suddenly waned, his expression trembling as he looked at his descendant.

”I… donʼt have a descendant… like you…!”

He spat out as he clenched his teeth, looking both furious and disappointed.

”So much for trying to trust...”

Abruptly, a tired voice echoed out from the side, causing Great Ancestor Zenflame to turn to look at Shirley, his gaze shuddering as he saw her raise her hand, a tiny palace appearing within the palm of her hand.

”Fire Phoenix Clan… die!”

”Fourth inheritor, no!”

Shirley abruptly summoned a palace construct that quickly expanded as she threw it towards the seating of the Fire Phoenix Clan.

”What!?”

”Stop that!”

She had just thrown it when it was quickly stopped by Grand Elders raising their hands.

”Ahhhh!”

Shirley screamed out loud as though she was heartbroken, trying to hammer the construct on them to destroy them once and for all but the Immortal Emperors were too powerful, stopping her physical attack easily.

*Boom!~*

Fire phoenix flames exploded on it, causing it to be hurled above and toward the wall.

People screamed as they tried to move away from it while it shuttled across their heads.

*Bang!~*

It broke through the palace, rubble falling to the ground while leaving behind a gaping hole that revealed the cloudy skies outside.

However, Shirley didnʼt seem to be badly injured despite controlling the palace. By all right, her arm should have come off at this moment as she was forcing the construct down on the Fire Phoenix Clan, so when it was sent flying, the backlash should have taken her hand along with her.

Their gazes flickered, seeing Earth Dragon Queen Isabella having pulled Shirleyʼs arm from controlling the palace before she could have had her hand torn apart.

”Letʼs go, Elder Aradiel Furiose.”

Isabella lightly spoke, bringing Shirley along with her away. The latter seemed disheartened yet closed her eyes as though turning a blind eye to the menace that was to appear.

”Stop!”

”Where do you think youʼre going?”

”Capture Zahara as well!”

The Fire Phoenix Clanʼs elders shouted while Elder Aradiel Furiose frowned heavily. He truly couldnʼt believe the Fire Phoenix Clan had stooped this low, causing him to release a blatant kick to the crotch of his opponent.

*Bang!~*

Grand Elder Seil Zenflame flew back as he blocked the kick by twisting one of his legs but quickly spread out his hands, emerging with the manifestation of phoenix wings that spanned across the hall, blocking all exits.

”Fire Phoenix Clan, you are truly despicable!”

”Is this the way you treat your immortal inheritors!? How filial!”

”Youʼre a disgrace to the majestic name of our Phoenix Alliance!”

”Shut up!”

Patriarch Killian Zenflame looked at the others and bellowed. He had just intended to take off as the elders of the Aurora Cloud Gate brought away Shirley and the others and exited while the Earth Dragon Clanʼs Patriarch stood dumbfounded, unable to believe what just happened.

However, the both of them simultaneously felt an unbelievable chill at this moment, causing them to shiver.

”Thatʼs enough...”

People turned to look at the source of the calm voice amidst the chaos as they saw Saint Mo Tian floating. He was protected by the Starlight Jade Wolf King and the Golden Crow Clanʼs Patriarch, but now, they were looking at him with horrified gazes.

Davis floated in the air, his disguise disappearing as blonde hair fluttered and his body became clad in the purple robes of a well-known individual.

”I advice everyone unrelated to run… fly as far away as you can...”

*RUMBLEEEEEE!!!~~~~*

A thunderous boom echoed across the heaven and earth of this mountain range, causing every being underneath to freeze under the incredible pressure falling on them. When they raised their heads, they saw through the gaping hall on the wall that the entire world turned darkened, causing their teeth to clatter.

Zyrus Family Patriarchʼs gaze shook heavily, ”This… not this again…!”

He had had enough of one Annihilative Immortal Tribulation in his region. Turning around, he used all his willpower and rushed out of the palace, abandoning all his family.

The moment people saw him rush past him, pandemonium struck.

”Ahhhh!!!”

Screams resounded across the palace as everyone ran for their lives, even the Fire Phoenix Clanʼs Patriarch, who turned to look at Saint Mo Tian with wide, fearful eyes.

”Emperor of Death! Youʼre alive…!”

”Where do you think youʼre going?”

However, Davis ignored Patriarch Killian Zenflame and reached out his hand towards Lars Zenflame, clenching his figure into his fist.

At that moment, Lars Zenflameʼs heart skipped a beat, his eyes becoming dull as he fell to the ground, his heart had shattered along with his soul. In his last moments, he stared at Davis, seeing his lips moving.

”You should have never even spoken to me, much less etch your name on that Blood Soul Contract.”
