Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 2480 Other Five?

Natalyaʼs smile became more prevalent as she removed her veil and ran across to hug Davis.

”I missed you, darling~”

She wound her arms around his body and hugged him deeply, feeling his warmth spread to her body and soothe her soul. His big hand that caressed her silky hair made her feel comfortable like she was finally at home.

Shirley also followed but stopped beside them as she giggled, ”Well, thanks. I could say the same thing to you, husband. Just how powerful are you now?”

Davis chuckled, ”Forget about me. Tell me what kind of prowess you two possess. Depending on it, I might send you to become a true disciple in the Aurora Cloud Gate so that you could have more protection while we could enjoy this floating island all to ourselves and gain more benefits.”

”Awesome~”

Natalya backed up from Davis and excitedly uttered. She had listened through the projection, so she knew what Zora Luan talked about. Shirley also understood what was going on and nodded her head.

”Itʼs worth revealing ourselves somewhat if we get to keep the island for free. Thatʼll keep out any bastards from the Fire Phoenix Clan from appearing here and making trouble for us.”

”The Earth Dragon Clan as well,” Isabella added, her voice cold.

”Yes, but I figure those people wonʼt be the only enemies we make in the future, so always have your guard up no matter where you go within the sect after some time.”

Davis warned before looking at Natalya, causing her cheeks to redden. Raising her hands, she awkwardly held them together and bit her lips.

”My prowess is only four levels higher. If I use all three of my cultivations or reveal my yin lotus, it can go up to five levels higher, I think...”

Davis couldnʼt help but smile widely, ”Thatʼs marvelous. Without the Heaven Immortal Vessels, you already managed to gain that kind of prowess. If you possessed the Heaven Immortal Vessels, then your prowess could go up to seven levels higher.”

”… Uhm, thanks for the compliment.” Natalyaʼs heart eased up a bit.

She was afraid that Davis would be disappointed as Nadia could cross eight levels higher while she could only perform half the mark. The feeling that she didnʼt particularly help Davis with anything was stabbing her heart, but as always, he was kind and understanding to her.

On the other hand, Davis didnʼt make this a big matter because it never was. Unlike him and Myria, who had a physique, which gave them innate Heaven Immortal Vessels, and Ellia, who had received a gift to make Immortal Heaven Vessels from her master, Natalya had none.

He turned to look at Shirley, knowing that she should be the same. Receiving his gaze, Shirley opened her mouth.

”You can say that Iʼm one level higher than second sister because of my ice and flames. I could go above that, but I wouldnʼt dare.”

Shirley wryly smiled, her sweet expression filling everyoneʼs hearts.

Indeed, they had seen Shirley get injured by combining ice and flames, and the result was horrific, to say the least. It was not a power that could be easily controlled because of its innate berserk nature.

”Good. Very good…”

Davis nodded. Although he couldnʼt send Natalya to become a true disciple as the chances of her passing were less, Shirley could perfectly fill the role. He also had Nadia in mind.

ʼAs for the others… wait a minute...”

Davis returned his look to Natalya and opened his mouth, ”Natalya, you should easily be able to cross five levels with Iesha working with you.”

”Wha-! Is that fine?”

”Yes, I read the rules. Beast and spirit companions are allowed as long as they have an intricate connection with each other and are on the same level. The former is most likely for Beast Tamers, and the latter is for Spirit Tamers, although itʼs the first time Iʼm hearing such an occupation being present in the world.”

”Great!” Natalya became excited before she appeared contemplative, ”Iesha has also entered the Immortal Stage and is currently in seclusion and not in me, but she can come out anytime after I contact her.”

”Excellent. For now, weʼll have you become a true disciple, while for Iesha, Iʼll do something about it later. Who else has entered the Immortal Stage?”

Davis eagerly asked, his eagerness infecting them as one of them quickly answered.

”Bylai, Zestria, and Schleya. Fhi~”

Nadiaʼs voice echoed as she stood on Davisʼs shoulders in her tiny winged-wolf form, yawning before she rubbed her small fluffy face over Davisʼs cheek.

”Moreover, the Legion Captains and the commanders of the Reaper Legion have also entered the Immortal Stage.”

Davisʼs eyes lit up. That meant Yotan and Threelotus had also become immortals. However, he didnʼt think that they would be particularly useful in becoming a true disciple even with their Supreme Immortal Sigils and Perfected Mortal Immortal Vessels.

That was weaker than Natalyaʼs prowess. He imagined that it would be the same with Bylai and Zestria as Supreme Immortal uniqueness would just increase their prowess by two levels and their Perfected Mortal Immortal Vessels by one level. They wouldnʼt be able to match a true disciple but could become a core disciple.

The only one he felt unsure about was Schleya, as he had given her many blood-attributed resources plundered from the Blood Reaper Underworldʼs Immortal. She shouldʼve also conjured Supreme Uniquenesses, bringing her prowess near to the others and perhaps on par with Natalya, but her superior blood techniques and sharp intent to kill and weave through battles made her a force to be reckoned with.

If inexperienced true disciples met with her, then underneath the onslaught of her ruthless attacks, it was possible that they would lose their heads over a slight mistake.

She was his last best selection to gain the five spots belonging to this floating island.

Nadia, Shirley, Natalya and Iesha, Schleya… and Eldia.

Although Eldia could battle four levels higher and easily gain a victory over someone who is five levels higher with her heavenly lighting suppression, he was confident of boosting Eldiaʼs prowess at this moment with the annihilative heavenly lightning he plundered. With that, not many true disciples will be capable of even touching her, much less dreaming of harming her.

The only individual he was worried about right now was Schleya. She wouldnʼt be too strong when put against true disciples, but she wouldnʼt be too easy to defeat either. He could wait for Isabella or Evelynn to break through, but he was worried that someone could rise up to be a true disciple in that short period of time.

ʼI get unlucky at the most unexpected time...ʼ

Davis thought before he waved his hand, ”In any case, weʼll soon send people to occupy this floating island to ourselves but now, letʼs go inside the mansion and see with our own eyes how itʼs going to enrich our lives.”

”Yes~”

A string of melodious voices resounded in his ear, causing Davis to almost fall into a trance. He couldnʼt help but imagine what the upcoming days would be like as he finally made it to the safest place he could possibly get in the First Haven World.

*Whoosh!~* *Whoosh!~*

As soon as they entered the main hall, Fiora and Mingzhi appeared.

”Congratulations on entering the Immortal Stage, darling!~”

Their expressions were one of secrecy before they presented a two-meter tall, thick, and frozen cream to him.

It was an ice cream cake with various rich flavors, causing Davis to be dumbfounded. He suddenly couldnʼt help but ask a question.

”Mhm? The ingredients?”

Mingzhiʼs lips curled into a sly smile, ”A secret~”

”...”
