Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 2459 Officially Entering The Aurora Cloud Gate

”Itʼs your… win...”

Niel Bladeheartʼs heart clenched with some pain and humiliation, but ultimately, he sighed and cupped his hands towards Ellia.

It was his mistake to release the sword from its seal instead of striking through it with his own strength. It could be said that his momentary doubts or acquired weaknesses were taken advantage of, so he had no comeback to it.

Davis couldnʼt help but beam that Ellia had won so easily. He was worried that she might get injured, but with Niel Bladeheart admitting defeat again, he became relaxed. But what he was truly astonished over was Niel Bladeheart.

”Three losses in a row, and his law heart is still afloat. In terms of Will, he really is a monster.”

”Of course. Without enough Will, learning Imposing Sword Laws would be nothing but a dream. To impose oneʼs sword might is to impose their own Will on themselves.”

Myria appeared beside him and handed over her status plate to the Deacon in charge of promotion while the Deacon returned Davisʼs status plate.

It now had a new luster to it as well as the features representing a true disciple.

The Promotion Deacon viewed Myriaʼs status plate, but he didnʼt seem to be shocked. It seemed like he didnʼt notice it belonged to Saintess Lunaria. However, he did notice that it was a personal disciple tag, so he merely asked.

”Which Grand Elder do you belong to? Ah, forgive me for my probing. My mouth is fast while my brain is slow.”

”…”

Myria was silent to this weirdo. She watched him work on the formation and understood the intricacies behind it with a glance.

But at this moment, Davisʼs voice resounded out.

”Whatʼs going on? Why is my name not appearing in front of Niel Bladeheartʼs name?”

He saw that his name was on the last ranking in the True Disciple Rankings - Immortal.

”The rankings have nothing to do with defeating another disciple or prowess.” Answered the Promotion Deacon with a chuckle.

”It has to do with your contribution points because lazy and selfish disciples arenʼt rewarded. However, your prowess will allow you to get more contribution points, so my previous statement isnʼt entirely true.”

”I see. Thanks for your teaching, senior.”

”Aiya, call me elder.” He shook and almost took his hands off the formation.

Meanwhile, Davis raised his hand and received another status plate. It belonged to Ellia, which he handed over to the Promotion Deacon for initialization to become ranked.

Ellia smiled at Davis and returned her gaze to Niel Bladeheart, ”Youʼre not bad. Since you lost, can I have the sword?”

”You want the Goldsky Slicer…?”

Niel Bladeheartʼs lips twitched before he shook his head, ”Forgive me for being unable to grant your request. Even if I wanted to give this sword to you, my family would lop off my head. I hope to avoid such a situation from happening, fairy Ellia.”

He saw Elliaʼs name appear last in the True Disciple Rankings - Immortal, and above it was Myria and Feng Chu. They became genuine true disciples and ranked at this moment.

”I see. So itʼs an heirloom. Thatʼs really a pity, but I can understand.” Ellia pursed her lips, ”The amount of swords capable of learning Imposing Sword Laws and imparting them to humans is truly low. Out of a million immortal sword spirits, it is said that only ten would be in possession of a Phyletic Law. Each of them is considered a treasure and would sell for the value of an Immortal Emperor Grade Treasure.”

”Woahh!!!”

The crowd was in an uproar over Elliaʼs words while Niel Bladeheart blinked.

”Ten? I heard that it was two or three for every million immortal sword spirits.”

ʼOops, that must be the number in the immortal world…ʼ Ellia pouted, ”Well, that should be the case. But I hope I didnʼt offend you by revealing this matter.”

”Not at all. If this sword falls into someoneʼs hands, they would surely be killed by my Bladeheart Family.”

”Thatʼs reassuring.”

Ellia waved goodbye and left the battle stage, leaving Niel Bladeheart slightly dumbfounded. As he saw her leaving figure return to the group of three, he couldnʼt help but wonder who exactly these monstrous individuals were, suddenly appearing from nowhere as they became registered into the rankings.

”Little girl, you didnʼt have to do that.”

”I tried my luck for Tanya~”

Once Ellia arrived, Davis spoke before Ellia revealed her teeth behind her veil, sweetly giggling like a fairy in his eyes.

However, Davis had to admit that he had an eye on the Goldsky Slicer for a moment.

The Soaring Emperor Sword of the Emperor Sword Sect truly didnʼt match its name at all now that they were at this juncture. It gained its prowess from karmic power, but the Goldsky Slicer was different. Its sword spirit was truly an expert, capable of battling two levels higher without any enchantments. This was at the Immortal Stage to boot.

It indeed was capable of imparting to Tanya if she was competent. No, he believed she was talented enough to comprehend Imposing Sword Laws.

At this moment, Zora Luan elegantly appeared before them. In her eyes laid a complex emotion that caused her lips to move.

”Feng Chu, are you-”

”Forget it.” She abruptly shook her head and smiled behind her veil, ”Now that you raised your status to a true disciple, my reputation and contribution points will also rise subsequently once itʼs undergone an assessment. I must thank you for proving that I was not wrong, and I continue to expect that youʼre a person with a righteous conscience.”

She cupped her hands towards him, causing Davis to clasp her hands and push them down.

”Well, Iʼm slightly inclined towards that, but senior sister doesnʼt need to worry.”

”Is that so? Thatʼs… good to hear.”

Zora Luan lightly smiled before she pursed her lips, feeling some distance suddenly.

Was she qualified to speak to him this way? The difference in their prowess was as clear as day, almost two times her prowess.

However, the fact that Feng Chu was even holding her hand didnʼt register in her mind for a second before she noticed it, and she quickly pulled her hands back.

”Haha… senior sister unexpectedly has a feminine side.”

”You…! What do you take me for?”

”Ah, I didnʼt mean anything strange, I swear!”

Zora Luan slapped his shoulder with the back of her hand, looking angered as Davis retreated with his hands raised but behind her anger was also a relieved smile.

She was glad that this junior brother didnʼt put airs.

”Good junior brother. Do you want to leave this place?”

”That…”

Davisʼs brows slightly narrowed. He wanted to meet and talk with Nightveil, but he had seen her mingle amidst her spirit race in this place. Knowing that she wasnʼt in any danger, he wasnʼt particularly in a hurry to make contact with her. Besides, he knew he was being surrounded at this moment, causing him to nod his head.

”Then stand together. Weʼre leaving.”

Davis eyed Myria and Ellia, causing them to step within their circle. The next moment, Zora Luan took out a talisman and activated it. They teleported away and reappeared somewhere else.

Davis and the others saw that they were in front of a luxurious mansion.

”Now then, you are free of those who will come to invite or harass you, but that will only be for a few minutes as they probably storm my place upon learning my residenceʼs location from others. If you want to leave, nowʼs your chance.”

Zora Luan smiled and advised them, causing Davis to cup his hands.

”Thanks for your help, senior sister. I wonʼt forget this matter, and if thereʼs a chance, Iʼll definitely visit again to pay respects to senior sisterʼs family.”

”Aha~” Zora Luanʼs bosoms shook, ”Youʼre going to soar for sure, so the honorʼs all mine. However, more than anything else, keep your life afloat.”

”Will do.”

Davis nodded with a bright smile and exited the residence with Myria and Ellia, chancing upon a mountain path. They walked up to leave the mountain.

ʼNow then… the little bit of time difference wonʼt be much of a problem… but...ʼ

Davis pursed his lips in contemplation before he turned to look at the one who held his arm closely.

”Ellia, can you help me?”

”Just say the word, my prince.”

Ellia looked at him with upturned eyes, her mesmerizing gaze exuding boundless love for him.
