Naruto: Orochimaru's Disciple

Chapter 434: Chapter 434: If Blood Brothers Can Do It, So Can I

Chapter 434: If Blood Brothers Can Do It, So Can I

Looking at his excited teacher, Amamiya Kenichi also revealed a faint smile.

He understood Orochimaru’s personality very well.

For his teacher, the most interesting things in this world were collecting all kinds of Ninjutsu and pursuing the truths of science.

In order to achieve that goal, Orochimaru had even developed a powerful Ninjutsu like Living Corpse Reincarnation, which allowed him to attain a form of immortality.

Although there seemed to be some problems with it.

For example, his teacher now looked more and more like the gender of his current body.

This made Kenichi wonder whether something had gone wrong during Orochimaru’s development of Living Corpse Reincarnation. Otherwise, why would he become like this?

During this period, every time Kenichi saw his teacher, he felt as if Orochimaru had changed completely. He could barely remember what his teacher used to look like.

”Then what about Uchiha Hikari? Without her cooperation, this research will be difficult to conduct,” Orochimaru said, glancing at Kenichi.

He knew that Hikari had a very good relationship with his disciple. That girl named Hikari often clung to Kenichi.

It could be said that this experimental research absolutely required Hikari’s ability to cooperate. But if they wanted Hikari to participate in the experiment, they would probably need Kenichi’s approval.

”Teacher, Hikari’s ability comes from the Mangekyō Sharingan. As for the abilities of the Sharingan, you should understand them very well,” Kenichi said, glancing at his teacher.

Even now, he still did not know what ocular Jutsu his teacher had awakened.

The Mangekyō, the Eye that Reflects the Heart, possessed the miraculous ability to make the user’s wishes take form.

Of course, that did not mean that if someone wanted to become invincible, they would immediately become invincible. Rather, if someone wanted to become invincible, the eye would grant them an extremely destructive ocular Jutsu to assist that dream.

If someone wanted to change an unfavorable future, they might awaken an ocular Jutsu like Izanagi, which could rewrite death itself.

It was truly a blooming field of different abilities.

Even Hikari had awakened an ability called Yachihoko. Kenichi wondered what kind of thoughts Hikari had been holding when she awakened that ability.

”So I, as your teacher, need to participate in this experiment,” Kenichi said seriously.

After hearing this, Orochimaru glanced at him with a playful look in his eyes.

”It seems you care a great deal about your younger sister,” Orochimaru said with a teasing smile.

Kenichi shrugged.

He did care about Hikari.

He had seen her attachment and feelings toward him. Naturally, he would not treat such sincerity with indifference.

”If the number of experiments may be limited, I think you should call Sado Amado over and have him participate in the research as well. That would minimize the chance of wasting each precious experiment,” Orochimaru said.

Seeing that Kenichi did not respond, he could only give up the idea of using Hikari as experimental material.

His student’s strength was growing more and more powerful, and his ideas were becoming increasingly insane.

What surprised Orochimaru the most was that Kenichi had truly been trying to turn those ideas into reality, and had even conquered an entire country.

Thinking of the mushroom cloud that had risen from the direction of Kirigakure when the capital of the Land of Water was attacked that day, Orochimaru felt a trace of fear toward his student.

If it were not for a matter of principle, Orochimaru truly would not want to have any conflict with him.

”All right, Teacher. I thought so too,” Kenichi said.

He did not object to his teacher’s suggestion.

If he wanted to find a way to complete the Ninja World Internet as quickly as possible with a limited number of experiments, then the more capable researchers involved, the better.

Sado Amado himself was a genius scientist.

With his participation, perhaps they really could find a way to create the Ninja World Internet before it affected Hikari’s eyesight.

”By the way, one of my projects is about to produce results. So if you want to research what you mentioned, you had better wait for me for a while,” Orochimaru said, thinking of the project he was currently working on.

He had been studying that Ninjutsu for some time, and now he seemed to have found some clues. Because of that, he could not focus on other projects for the time being.

As for researching with a Shadow Clone?

That would not work either.

That Ninjutsu required his personal presence, and he did not want to miss out on the amazing Ninjutsu his student had mentioned.

A Shadow Clone could also participate, but it would not be quite the same.

Kenichi was not too concerned about this, but he was a little curious about what his teacher was researching.

Could it really be One’s Own Life Reincarnation?

But if it was One’s Own Life Reincarnation, what else could be improved about it?

Could it be modified so a genin could revive a jonin?

If that were the case, then Kenichi’s high-end combat forces would no longer suffer losses.

Just thinking about it made Kenichi a little excited.

After setting a time with his teacher, Kenichi went to find Sado Amado and discussed the Ninja World Internet with him.

Sado Amado was also very interested and immediately agreed.

However, Sado Amado also had some research of his own to complete, so he also needed some time.

”It seems I’ll have to wait a little longer before researching the Ninja World Internet,” Kenichi said with a yawn.

He looked up at the sky.

The sky above the Land of Water was clear blue today.

However, before starting research on the Ninja World Internet, he could still do some other things.

”Hikari, I need to collect a blood sample from you.”

Kenichi looked at Uchiha Hikari in front of him.

After hesitating for a moment, he still spoke.

Hikari extended her arm without hesitation. There was not the slightest trace of fear in her eyes.

Seeing this, Kenichi said nothing. He simply took out a syringe and collected a small amount of blood from Hikari.

Throughout the entire process, Hikari looked at him with a dependent gaze, which made Kenichi feel uncharacteristically embarrassed.

”Aren’t you going to ask what I’m going to do with it?” Kenichi asked.

”Why ask? Big Brother Amamiya is Hikari’s big brother,” Hikari said as if it were completely natural.

Kenichi froze for a moment after hearing that.

Then he smiled and ruffled Hikari’s hair.

”Don’t worry. Big brother won’t do anything bad. In fact, if this research succeeds, it will be good for you too,” Kenichi said with a smile.

The reason he took Hikari’s blood was for another matter.

It was well known that as the Mangekyō Sharingan was used more often, its ocular power continuously grew stronger, but it also continuously damaged the user’s body and eyes.

Normal people could not withstand that burden, so their eyes would eventually go blind.

This was the greatest limitation of the Mangekyō Sharingan in its early stage.

The more it was used, the closer the user came to blindness.

This was a restriction Kishimoto added to the Mangekyō. However, as combat power continuously increased later on, if the Mangekyō kept leading to blindness, it would no longer keep up with the power scaling.

Thus, the Eternal Mangekyō appeared.

Of course, Eternal Mangekyō was not the official term, but it was a widely circulated name.

In the ninja world, only two people had achieved the Eternal Mangekyō.

One was Uchiha Madara.

The other was the future Sasuke.

The method to awaken the Eternal Mangekyō required fusing the Mangekyō Sharingan of another blood relative. The closer the blood relationship, the higher the possibility of successful fusion.

Even so, throughout the ninja world, only two people had become Eternal Mangekyō users.

Kenichi also possessed the Mangekyō Sharingan now, but because he feared blindness, he had always used it cautiously.

How to turn the Mangekyō into the Eternal Mangekyō was also a topic he had been researching.

”Mm!” Hikari smiled and held onto Kenichi’s clothes.

She did not care about research or benefits.

She only wanted to enjoy the pleasant feeling of being with her big brother right now.

”Big brother, what are we eating later?” Hikari tilted her head and asked.

Kenichi answered without much thought.

Barbecue.

It was almost noon anyway, so he could continue his research after eating.

[Eternal Mangekyō: A higher-ranking Sharingan above the Mangekyō Sharingan, and possibly one of the prerequisites for achieving the Rinnegan. Based on currently known information, the Eternal Mangekyō requires the fusion of two Mangekyō and has extremely high requirements for genetic similarity.]

[Unknown: Whether straight tomoe and curved tomoe affect Mangekyō fusion cannot currently be proven.]

After lunch, Kenichi, who had played with Hikari for a while, returned to his laboratory.

He was currently researching how to fuse the Mangekyō Sharingan.

As for researching the Ninja World Internet, he still had to wait for his teacher’s research to be completed.

Mr. Sado Amado’s research had also reached a critical stage, so he could not come out to participate in the Ninja World Internet research for the time being.

Kenichi did not mind.

He could use this time to try researching Mangekyō fusion.

”The probability of fusing Mangekyō increases between brothers. That much is certain. After all, both Uchiha Madara and Uchiha Sasuke did it this way and obtained the Eternal Mangekyō,” Kenichi said, looking at the experiment log in his hand and falling into thought.

This was almost the only information currently available about the Eternal Mangekyō.

”But since it depends on blood relations, there should be no closer blood relation than oneself, right?”

Kenichi licked his lips.

He had a rather bold idea.

In the field of science, there was a sensitive term called cloning.

In fact, ever since the first cloned sheep appeared, cloning technology had no longer been a particularly profound problem. However, because cloning involved many ethical and moral issues, the use of cloning technology had always remained a sensitive topic.

But that was in his previous life.

Now that Kenichi was in the ninja world, he naturally did not have those so-called concerns.

”If I clone myself, then allow the clone to awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan, can I take the clone’s eyes and fuse them into my own body? Can that open the Eternal Mangekyō?”

Kenichi frowned in thought.

Ever since he learned about the Mangekyō’s upgrade method, he had held this idea.

However, there were still several difficulties that needed to be solved.

The first difficulty was mastering cloning technology.

Fortunately, he had already obtained cloning technology from Sado Amado, so cloning himself was no longer a problem.

The second problem was growth.

After all, if he perfectly cloned himself, it would take a long time for the clone to grow from an embryo to an age where it could awaken the Mangekyō.

Even at the fastest, it might take six or seven years.

Six or seven years was far too long.

Fortunately, Sado Amado had previously researched how to make clones grow quickly, which could accelerate the process. However, rapid growth would also cause the clone to age rapidly.

Would the clone’s Mangekyō be affected by this?

And after fusion, would there be any impact?

All of these questions needed to be considered.

”Forget it. I should find an experimental subject and test it first. As for Hikari’s...”

Kenichi looked at the blood in the test tube.

After hesitating for a moment, he put it down.

The clone’s personality was also a problem.

When Mr. Sado Amado previously created clones for his daughter, he discovered that clones produced through that method tended to have more violent personalities.

Because of that, Kenichi ultimately decided to have a jonin from the Land of Snow come over for the experiment.

Soon, the jonin provided Kenichi with blood.

That meant he could begin attempting to clone.

However, he did not have the cloning equipment himself, since Kenichi had not conducted similar research before.

”It seems I still have to go see Mr. Sado again.”

Kenichi stood up.

He hoped this experiment would succeed.

If it did, he could quickly obtain a new pair of eyes for himself.

Obito acquiring Edo Tensei had always been a thorn in Kenichi’s side.

If he did not quickly improve his strength, Kenichi was truly worried about facing that madman Uchiha Madara in the future.

”Such a hassle...”

Jiraiya stood in a border city of the Land of Fire, gazing into the distance.

Ever since the Land of Water was conquered, there had been no ships traveling between it and Konoha.

That meant if Jiraiya wanted to enter the Land of Water, he would have to find a way himself.

Either he had to obtain a boat and sneak in, or...

Jiraiya looked at the airship beside him.

This airship was one he had taken from Konoha.

It was a high-altitude airship belonging to Konoha. It flew at a very high altitude, and its speed depended on the rider’s chakra reserves and the power of their Ninjutsu.

The stronger the Wind Release Ninjutsu released, the faster it could travel.

Jiraiya sighed.

He did not really like riding airships.

They always gave him an uncomfortable feeling.

”Amamiya Kenichi. Orochimaru. You’re both there, aren’t you?”

Jiraiya looked out at the sea.

Across the water lay the enemy.
