The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 990: Chapter 990: Confirmation (3)

”On what grounds?” Qian Baoshun started to grapple with Old Hei, ”The person was just handed over to you, and you lost her, why should you still ask for silver?”

”I didn’t even get a bite, why shouldn’t I get the silver back?” Old Hei was not to be outdone.

The two men thus began to fight at the entrance of the village, but nobody cared about the outcome because the horse-drawn carriage had already left Niu Family Village.

In the carriage, Yang Ruxin looked at the Qian sisters sitting opposite her and handed over two selling covenants, ”As friends who have met by chance, this is all the help I can offer. From now on...”

”Ruxin... Miss,” Qian Xiaoyun quickly shook her head, ”My sister and I will follow you from now on. You saved my life before, and now you have taken us out of our misery. Even if we worked like oxen and horses, we couldn’t repay you...”

Qian Sanni once again knelt down in the carriage, ”Miss, I don’t eat much, I can work hard, really...”

”Are you sure?” Yang Ruxin frowned and pointed at the selling covenants, ”If these are sent to the Governor’s Office for registration, then you will truly become serfs. Moreover, our roles will change, and by that time...”

”We are sure, as long as we sisters can stay together and have food to eat, we will definitely fulfill our duties.” Qian Xiaoyun’s tone was very resolute. She understood that with their situation, even if they didn’t meet any bad people again, just getting food to eat would be a problem, and she still hoped her sister could find a good place.

Yang Ruxin sighed, ”Since you have made up your minds, I will accept you. But, let it be clear, there are two rules by my side. No gossiping, no betrayal. Do not say what should not be said, do not ask what should not be asked. Otherwise, don’t blame me for turning my face.” She had just been thinking of buying some maids, and these two sisters were known quantities, they could start by working with Xuexue and Mengmeng, ”Of course, if you both behave well, I will ensure you a good future.”

”Miss, we will do our very best,” Qian Xiaoyun smiled but then winced as the smile aggravated the wound on her face, causing her to sharply inhale.

”Miss, I want to change my name,” said Qian Sanni suddenly, ”I beg the Miss to bestow a name upon me.”

”Change your name?” Yang Ruxin was taken aback.

”Yes, from now on, I don’t want to have anything to do with the Qian Family. Please bestow a new name on me.” Qian Sanni was very determined.

”I want to change mine too,” Qian Xiaoyun also nodded, from now on, they would only have a master and no family.

”If that’s the case, then you can take my surname,” Yang Ruxin felt this was acceptable, ”As for names... you can still be called Xiaoyun, and you will be called Xiaodie... from now on, I am your family...”

The tears of the sisters fell once more.

After returning home and everyone saw that not only had Qian Xiaoyun not gone back, but she had also brought her sister with her, they sympathized with their plight upon hearing their story and seeing their dire state.

”Xiaoyun, you will follow Xuexue for now, but these next few days, you need to focus on recovering,” Yang Ruxin arranged their positions for the sisters, ”Later on, you can also help with some needlework.” She paused, ”Xiaodie, you follow Mengmeng and do what you can.”

”Yes,” said Qian Xiaoyun, now Yang Xiaoyun, as she hurriedly nodded and then limped over to stand by Erni’s side.

Xiaodie also went to stand by Sanni’s side.

”Big sister?” Erni was a bit uncomfortable, ”Where do I need a servant? I...”
