The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 971: Chapter 971: Excessive (2)

Yang Ruxin spread her hands, ”Is what I said not correct?”

She guessed that after this, all the girls in town would keep their distance from Tong Lingling, but she didn’t feel the slightest bit of sympathy. After all, if she hadn’t been strong in the beginning, she would be the one embarrassed now.

”You...” Tong Lingling was at a loss for words, knowing that any further argument would only add to her humiliation, so she could only wipe away her tears and run away.

The other girls looked at Yang Ruxin with a mix of strange expressions.

”It’s quiet now!” Yang Ruxin didn’t mind at all, and instead laughed, ”Then let’s go inside and sit down, the plum blossoms are really beautiful...”

Shen Yila’s hand, which was hanging by her side, tightened for a moment but then she relaxed it and went over to hook arms with Yang Ruxin, her attitude intimate, ”Today, ah, my mother specifically instructed the chef to use plum blossoms to make a lot of desserts, we can eat while composing poetry and painting...”

Yang Ruxin graciously took a seat and then pulled her hand away to pick up a piece of Plum Blossom Cake and took a bite. It was actually really delicious, but as for the poetry and painting she mentioned, she didn’t want to take part at all.

”Don’t all stand there, everyone, please sit down and help yourselves.” Shen Yila started to invite everyone else to join.

The crowd suddenly understood that today’s banquet was probably for Yang Ruxin, so even those who were somewhat displeased began to restrain their thoughts, as no one wanted to be asked to leave.

Of course, they had also witnessed the village girl’s tactics, quietly pushing someone out.

”Why do you have to be so ruthless?” At that moment, a tall girl came over, frowning at Yang Ruxin.

”Really?” Yang Ruxin looked at her, her face the picture of innocence.

”Tong Lingling might have spoken harshly but that doesn’t necessarily mean she had ill intent. Yet you had to expose her shortcomings. What if she can’t cope, you...” The girl seemed quite agitated, ”Your heart is too cruel, isn’t it?” Behind her followed three or four girls who seemed to be good friends with her.

”Do you understand me that well? Or do you understand her?” Yang Ruxin arched an eyebrow ever so slightly.

”I don’t understand anyone, but in this matter, I think you went too far...”

”Guo Rou, you’re the one who went too far.” Wei Yao frowned, ”If you don’t know anything, then don’t...”

Yang Ruxin immediately pulled Wei Yao to a stop. She didn’t recognize the girl, but when she heard Wei Yao call her Guo Rou, she knew who she was: the deputy town chief’s youngest daughter. She didn’t want Wei Yao to offend her.

Wei Yao looked back in surprise.

Yang Ruxin patted her hand, signaling her to stop talking, then stood up with a smile looking at Guo Rou, ”So I’ve gone too far, what will you do about it?”

”I...” Guo Rou didn’t expect Yang Ruxin to be so brazen and was instantly irritated. She turned her head to Shen Yila, ”Sister Yila, kick out such a person...”

”You...” Wei Yao became anxious and stood up, but Yang Ruxin pushed her back down. She knew Wei Yao meant well and didn’t want her to offend Guo Rou, but she just couldn’t stand by and watch.

Shen Yila immediately showed a troubled expression, ”Sister Guo, please give me some face...”

”If she doesn’t leave, then I will...” Guo Rou huffed coldly and turned to walk out.

The girls who had been standing behind Guo Rou also followed her out.
