Chapter 339: Chapter 339: Lin Dong Wouldn’t Dare Not Show Up, Would He?

Wang Xiuxin and Xu Ying both heard the scolding voices in their ears.

At this moment, Xu Ying looked at the people around her, who were full of praise for Wang Xiuxin but hurled insults at Lin Dong.

Instantly, she secretly said with pride, ”Lin Dong, see it yet? You can’t even compare to my Brother Xiuxin, it’s like the difference between clouds and mud!”

Wang Xiuxin’s heart was bursting with joy, so happy he almost wanted to jump.

But he really knew how to act, and although he felt that way inside, he maintained a good performance outwardly.

He remained impassive, pretending not to hear.

At this moment, a reporter stood up and said to Wang Xiuxin:

”Hello, Little Medical Saint Mr. Wang Xiuxin, I’m a reporter from the Lecture Hall of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I would like to interview you before the medical competition to ask you a few questions. Is that okay?”

”Of course, it is,” Wang Xiuxin said politely.

The reporter quickly asked, ”Mr. Wang Xiuxin, what is your opinion on your opponent in this medical competition, the new leader of the Southern Faction of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Lin Dong?”

”Sorry, not familiar! And moreover, I’ve never considered him as my opponent. On the path of Traditional Chinese Medicine, my ’opponent’ will always be my grandfather. Since I was young, I’ve taken my grandfather as my goal, always wanting to surpass him. Although it’s difficult, I will continue to strive.”

Hearing this, the reporter couldn’t help but applaud.

Many others nearby also started clapping.

”Well said, that’s the spirit a young man should have!”

”Old Wang is both the person he admires the most and the person he wishes to surpass!”

”As for Lin Dong, what is he? A quack who has killed with his treatments, is he even worthy of competing with the Little Medical Saint?”

”...”

Everyone cheered loudly for Wang Xiuxin.

Wang Xiuxin’s face still showed a modest and gentlemanly demeanor.

”The words I’ve said are not intended to belittle the Southern Faction of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Mainly, I find it difficult to consider someone who has killed with their treatments as an opponent!”

”In my opinion, it is truly puzzling that the Southern Faction of Traditional Chinese Medicine would elect such a person as their leader.”

”I guess it’s possible that they were misguided by some of his superficial aspects, and I also hope that the Southern Faction of Traditional Chinese Medicine can take this opportunity, in front of everyone today at the medical competition, to properly address this matter.”

”I think, it’s not just me, but everyone who doesn’t wish for a quack who has killed with his treatments to continue practicing medicine, let alone continue as the leader of the Southern Faction of Traditional Chinese Medicine...”

As soon as these words came out, another wave of agreement followed.

”Very well said!”

”People of the Southern Faction of Traditional Chinese Medicine, please quickly step forward and give us an explanation, how will this matter be dealt with?”

”A quack who has killed people still serves as your leader of the Southern Faction of Traditional Chinese Medicine, what on earth are you doing?”

”To actually let him represent you in the medical competition, are you joking?”

”A medical skill that has killed people, and you bring shame upon yourselves with it? Do you of the Southern Faction of Traditional Chinese Medicine have no shame at all?”

”...”

At this moment, countless people looked toward the area designated for the Southern Faction of Traditional Chinese Medicine, loudly scolding them.

This medical competition had designated areas for various major organizations and some special entities.

The Southern Faction of Traditional Chinese Medicine, being one of the competing parties, naturally had a prominent position. Although the Five Elders of the Southern Faction and Lin Dong hadn’t arrived yet, some of their people had come early.

Currently, they sat there being cursed, their faces devoid of color and filled with embarrassment.

”Speak up, will you? Why aren’t you saying anything now?”

”Where’s your dignity, Southern Faction of Traditional Chinese Medicine?”

”...”

The crowd continued to curse loudly.

Traditional Chinese Doctors of the Southern Faction who felt wronged stood up and said, ”Everyone, cursing us is useless, this matter isn’t something we can decide.”

”It was decided by the Five Elders and core members of our faction, it has nothing to do with us.”

”When are the Five Elders of the Southern Faction of Traditional Chinese Medicine coming? Hurry up and give us an explanation!”

”Exactly, wasn’t it said that there would be a resolution to this matter on the day of the medical competition? Why not deal with it now? Are you playing dead?”

”And the President and Vice President of Southern Capital Hospital, please quickly state your resolution. Although you have temporarily suspended Lin Dong, this is far from sufficient. He needs to be completely dismissed!”

”People from the Medical Supervisor, speak up as well. For such a quack, shouldn’t his medical license be revoked forever? Do you want to keep him around to continue causing harm?”

”Officials from the Criminal Department, take a few steps forward. Isn’t this a case for the law? Doesn’t it call for prison time?”

”...”

Seeing this scene, Wang Xiuxin couldn’t help but sneer inwardly; this was the result he wanted.

”Lin Dong, after today, you will no longer possess the qualification to practice medicine. I am the true number one of the younger generation in Dragon Country Chinese Medicine!”

”So what if you are Master Lin? You are still trampled under my feet!”

While everyone was denouncing Lin Dong, sisters Qiao Xue and Qiao Bing arrived.

Lin Dong had not come with them as he still needed to prepare many things and had asked them to come ahead.

Now, seeing the Central Garden Square filled with crowds of people, all of them hurling insults at Lin Dong, Qiao Xue couldn’t help but turn to Qiao Bing and say:

”Little Bing, you said Lin Dong asked us to come first. Could he be so scared that he doesn’t dare to come? He wouldn’t have run away, would he?”
