Chapter 320: Chapter 320: Qiao Xue Comes to Southern Capital

But just when the two of them were about to seal the deal, the phone rang.

At first, Lin Dong thought it was his own.

He took out his phone only to discover that it wasn’t.

It was Qiao Bing’s phone on her person.

Upon checking her phone, she realized the caller ID read ’Sister’.

”It’s my sister calling me, forget it, let’s just ignore her. Let’s continue,” she said.

As she said this, Qiao Bing directly ended the call.

Lin Dong: ”...”

Qiao Bing wanted to continue with Lin Dong, but the call she had ended immediately rang again.

Lin Dong felt awkward and said, ”Sister Bing, you should still answer it, in case it’s something important.”

With a mutter, Qiao Bing still picked up the phone.

However, while on the call, she remained in Lin Dong’s arms.

Even one hand was still roaming on Lin Dong’s body.

”Hey, sis, what’s up? I’m about to go to sleep, why are you calling and disturbing me?” Qiao Bing said irritably.

Anyone would be annoyed by being disturbed at such a moment.

On the other end of the phone, a familiar voice could be heard—it was indeed Qiao Xue’s voice.

”Little Bing, I’m on a business trip in Southern Capital! I’m at the airport right now, can you come pick me up?”

Hearing this, Qiao Bing quickly replied, ”Pick you up now? I don’t have time, I am going to sleep.”

”Why sleep so early? It’s only eight at night!” Qiao Xue said incredulously over the phone. ”We haven’t seen each other for so long, don’t you miss me?”

”Of course, I do. But sis, I’m really a bit busy right now. You can take a taxi downtown yourself, find a hotel and settle in.” After saying this, Qiao Bing hung up the phone.

After she hung up, she resumed being ’busy’ with Lin Dong.

But not long after, the phone rang again.

It was still Qiao Xue calling!

Qiao Bing was truly annoyed, but after all, the caller was her sister.

She could only answer the call.

This time, after she connected, Qiao Xue’s tone was unmistakable, ”Little Bing, what exactly are you doing? Just now, it sounded like there was a man’s voice? Come over and pick me up right now, immediately!”

Qiao Bing felt helpless and looked towards Lin Dong.

Lin Dong shrugged, silently mouthing, ”Our business is not an urgent matter; let’s listen to her this time.”

After all, her sister was looking for her, and if Lin Dong continued to be intimate with Qiao Bing at this time, he always felt a bit odd.

It felt... like stealing!

He thought better of it.

It wasn’t necessary to do it today; there would be other times in the future.

Interrupted twice by her sister Qiao Xue, Qiao Bing’s mood in that respect had faded significantly, and she could only nod in agreement, ”Alright then.”

”But Lin Dong, you have to come with me.”

”This...” Lin Dong was a bit troubled; after all, Qiao Xue had previously been his fiancee, plus she was Qiao Bing’s sister.

”You have to face it sooner or later, don’t you? Better explain it to her sooner rather than later!” said Qiao Bing.

Lin Dong thought it over and nodded.

Thus, the two of them dressed and left the hotel.

Once they were out of the hotel, they hailed a taxi and headed for the airport to pick someone up.

Upon arrival at the airport, the two of them saw Qiao Xue coming out of the airport terminal.

Qiao Xue, dressed in professional office lady attire, stood tall and noticeable in the crowd.

Even a steward attempted to ask for her phone number.

But clearly, she politely rejected him.

When Qiao Xue saw Qiao Bing, her eyes lit up, and she walked towards her.

But suddenly, when she saw Lin Dong behind Qiao Bing, her expression changed slightly.

When she reached the two of them, Qiao Xue furrowed her brows and couldn’t help but ask, ”Lin Dong, what are you doing here?”

Lin Dong was about to speak, but before he could, Qiao Bing spoke up first.

”Sis, I asked him to come with me. And there’s something I was just about to tell you!”

”And that is, from now on, Lin Dong is my boyfriend!”

Whoosh!

This statement caught Qiao Xue completely by surprise.

She felt a profound shock within her heart.

It took her several minutes to regain her composure.

In a stern voice, she asked, ”Little Bing, are you serious?”

Qiao Bing nodded emphatically: ”Of course I am.”

”Nonsense!” Qiao Xue’s face darkened instantly, visibly very angry.

With her head lowered, Qiao Bing said, ”Sis, are you upset that I took Lin Dong from you? But you two had already completely dissolved your marriage contract, you can’t blame me for that, right?”

”You...” Qiao Xue’s chest heaved violently, ”Little Bing, it’s not as simple as that!”

She wanted to thoroughly ’educate’ her younger sister Qiao Bing, but seeing the crowd of onlookers around made it difficult.

Moreover, there were things that were inconvenient to say in front of Lin Dong.

So, she just glared at her and said, ”Forget it, let’s not talk about this now. Let’s leave the airport and go back to the hotel to discuss.”

”Tonight, I am sleeping with you!”

She was planning to have a serious talk with her sister that night.

Qiao Bing had wanted to give herself to Lin Dong tonight, but it seemed that plan was now dashed.

With a helpless sigh, she thought she could only make it up to Lin Dong another day.

After that, the three of them took a taxi from the airport to downtown.

During the ride, Qiao Xue kept casting furtive glances at Lin Dong but didn’t say a word to him.

It was as if Lin Dong had become invisible to her.

Lin Dong couldn’t be bothered with her either; he had nothing to say to his former fiancee.

Soon, the car reached downtown.

They came to Southern Capital’s Grand Hotel again.

Qiao Xue said to Qiao Bing, ”Little Bing, go check into a room for me.”

”Oh, okay.” Qiao Bing nodded and entered the hotel lobby.

As she went inside, Lin Dong was also about to follow her in when, at that moment, Qiao Xue said, ”Lin Dong, wait a moment, I have a few words I want to say to you alone.”

”Oh? What do you want to tell me?” Lin Dong inquired.

Qiao Xue stared intently at Lin Dong, her words measured and deliberate, ”Leave my younger sister!”
