Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 335: Chapter 335: You guys have all become confused

Seeing the killing intent in Lin Dong’s eyes, Bai Zhonglou felt a strong sense of approval in his heart.

This was how the Dragon Lord of Longmen should be.

Although the Yinghua Society was powerful and the Bai Ya they sent was terrifying, we are the magnificent Dragon Lord of Longmen, how could we be afraid of him?

If he comes, he will be killed!

”Have you found out where Qiao Renyi is?” Lin Dong asked again.

Ever since Qiao Renyi ran away last time, as soon as Lin Dong came back, he instructed Bai Zhonglou to search for his whereabouts.

He wanted to execute Qiao Renyi personally!

”Qiao Renyi is very cunning, and his whereabouts are completely unknown,” Bai Zhonglou shook his head.

”This man has joined the Hall of Dark King, and hiding is precisely what they excel at. We currently have no information about the whereabouts of their lord, the Five Elders of the Underworld Palace, or even the Saint Heir of that generation at our Longmen.”

”We don’t even know who they are!”

”Since Qiao Renyi, as a traitor to our Longmen, has joined the Underworld Palace, his status there must be not low. Naturally, the Underworld Palace would protect him, so it’s very difficult for us to find him under their protection...”

Lin Dong nodded, ”He should show up himself.”

”This man is very treacherous and skilled in the use of poison. It’s best if the Dragon Lord remains cautious,” Bai Zhonglou advised.

The two chatted for a while before Lin Dong left the Bai Family residence.

After leaving the Bai Family, Lin Dong headed for Medicine King Hall.

The news of Lin Dong ’curing people to death’ had become increasingly serious, and in two more days, the medical competition between the Southern and Northern factions was set to begin.

Today, the Southern Faction’s Traditional Chinese Medicine had planned to hold a meeting to discuss the medical competition.

As the leader of the Southern faction, Lin Dong naturally had to head over.

Moreover, he was planning to explain the situation to the Medicine King, Needle King, and other elder predecessors.

Soon after, Lin Dong arrived at Medicine King Hall.

Upon reaching Medicine King Hall, Lin Dong saw the Five Elders of Southern Traditional Chinese Medicine.

They were the President of the Jiangnan Province Chinese Medicine Association, Old Miracle Doctor Needle King Li Qingyang, Medicine King Zhuge Qingxuan, Fire Cupping King, and Massage King.

On seeing Lin Dong’s arrival, the Five Elders each began asking questions.

”Leader Lin, what exactly is going on? Did you really cure that person to death?”

”Although we believe in you, you must still give us an explanation, right?”

”Now, the entrance of our Medicine Hall is surrounded by reporters every day. All are inquiring about how we will handle this matter.”

”...”

At that moment, Lin Dong explained the cause of the entire incident to the elders.

After listening to Lin Dong’s narrative, they all suddenly understood.

”So that’s what happened!”

”It was that Wang Xiuxin’s doing again, this man is full of bad water, such a person, also deserves to be a doctor?”

”He’s simply lost the face of the Wang Family’s Medical World.”

”We absolutely cannot let him off so easily this time.”

”...”

After hearing the full story, all the elders were filled with indignation.

Lin Dong laughingly said, ”That’s why I’m planning to let the bullet fly a little longer. The bigger this issue becomes and the hotter the debate, the harder Wang Xiuxin will fall when the truth is revealed on the day of the medical competition!”

”This time, I want Wang Xiuxin’s reputation to be utterly ruined, so that from now on, he won’t even be able to work as a doctor!”

The elders nodded repeatedly, agreeing that this was the right approach.

Finally, everyone sighed in relief.

”Now then, let’s summon the core members of the Southern Faction’s Traditional Chinese Medicine for a meeting to discuss the upcoming medical competition the day after tomorrow,” said the President of the Chinese Medicine Association.

Everyone nodded in agreement.

This had been communicated to everyone well in advance.

Many people were already on their way to Medicine King Hall.

About half an hour later, approximately forty or fifty traditional Chinese doctors of the Southern faction had assembled in Medicine King Hall.

Among these people were elder generation famous doctors like the Medicine King, the Needle King, as well as young Tianjiaos like Li Qingdai, Zhuge Lingyou, and Chen Tong.

These were all key members of the Southern faction’s Traditional Chinese Medicine, both highly skilled and of significant status.

Directors of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Department from Grade III Hospitals would be considered merely peripheries here.

After everyone arrived, the Medicine King spoke:

”Everyone, we have gathered here to discuss the upcoming medical competition between us, the Southern Faction’s Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the Northern Faction’s doctors.”

”Let’s discuss who the elder generation should dispatch for the competition!”

As soon as these words were uttered, someone expressed, ”Shouldn’t we first discuss who the younger generation will send?”

The person who spoke was Deputy Director of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Department at Southern Capital Hospital, Chen Tong, grandson of the Fire Cupping King, and the one with a grudge against Lin Dong.

The Medicine King responded gravely, ”No need to discuss the younger generation, it is obvious that Leader Lin will represent us!”

”This has been decided long ago, what’s there to discuss?” Needle King also said.

However, Chen Tong disagreed and retorted, ”If it was before, I would have no objections.”

”But now, our Leader Lin has cured someone to death! Sending him out now would be disgraceful, wouldn’t it?”

”I suggest that we cancel his qualification to participate in the competition and remove his status as the leader of the Southern faction’s Traditional Chinese Medicine!”

He had thought his proposal would receive support from the elders of the Southern faction, especially from his grandfather, the Fire Cupping King.

Unexpectedly, as soon as his words fell, his grandfather slammed the table and scolded him, ”Shut your mouth! Didn’t you learn your lesson from the last incident at the hospital?”

Although he always feared his grandfather, at this moment, he felt he was in the right.

Even against his grandfather’s scolding, he persisted, ”What I’m saying is the truth. It’s better to let me go than Lin Dong, who is a quack!”

”You?” Fire Cupping King scoffed, ”Should we let you participate in the medical competition? Do you even have the strength for it? Get out and go home to reflect on your actions!”

Chen Tong was quite indignant as he did not understand why the elder generation of doctors was still protecting Lin Dong to such an extent.

He wanted to say more, but his grandfather, the Fire Cupping King, did not want him to continue making a scene and directly kicked him out.

Chen Tong, who was forced to leave, felt unwilling.

”Grandpa, you and the other elder predecessors have truly become senile,” he swore in his heart.

He pledged that on the day of the medical competition, he would make them see him in a new light.

”You will regret it. On the day of the medical competition, the Southern faction’s Traditional Chinese Medicine will fall into the abyss all because of Lin Dong!”
