Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 329: Chapter 329: Unknown True Face of Lu Shan

When Lin Dong arrived at the hotel, he saw Qiao Xue bending over and lying on the bed in extreme pain.

He couldn’t help but say, ”Weren’t you fine just now? How did you suddenly fall ill?”

Qiao Xue clutched her stomach and still stubbornly said:

”It’s none of your business, I don’t need your treatment!”

Qiao Bing then said, ”My sister has always had this problem, and these past few days just happen to be her period.”

”Today, she even went to discuss business with Qian Feifei of the Qian Family. First, she had to stand and wait for ages.”

”When she finally got to see Qian Feifei, Qian Feifei informed her that they already had another business partner and were unwilling to continue cooperating with my sister. A few words and she was dismissed!”

”That’s when her Gong Han flared up...”

Having heard Qiao Bing’s words, Lin Dong also sighed in his heart.

He thought the woman was quite pitiable.

Going through menstruation, yet still working so hard.

Lin Dong took out the filiform needles, ready to perform acupuncture on Qiao Xue to thoroughly cure her of her Gong Han.

But Qiao Xue, lying on the bed, blushed and said fiercely, ”Little Bing, ask him to leave immediately. I don’t need his treatment at all.”

”What does he know about curing illness?”

She didn’t believe in Lin Dong.

Qiao Bing hastily explained, ”Sis, Lin Dong’s medical arts are really amazing! I had the same problem as you before, and after Lin Dong treated me with a few needles, I was completely cured.”

”Why don’t you let Lin Dong treat you with a few needles?”

”It really is a cure as soon as the needle is applied!”

Qiao Xue was startled, her body becoming more and more agonized.

The cramps radiating from her lower abdomen chilled her to the core.

”He... he can really cure me?”

Because of the excruciating pain, even Qiao Xue’s speech trembled.

Qiao Bing nodded vigorously, ”Of course.”

”Fine then, you treat me.” Engulfed by pain, she finally agreed to let Lin Dong treat her.

Lin Dong, holding the filiform needles, stepped in front of Qiao Xue.

He lifted the clothes on her stomach, exposing her smooth and flawless lower abdomen.

Qiao Xue’s face flushed, and she felt extremely embarrassed.

Lin Dong gently probed her lower abdomen a couple of times; he was locating the acupoints.

Qiao Xue shivered throughout her body. Never before had a man touched her lower abdomen, and especially not someone so special.

After Lin Dong located the acupoints, he prepared to insert the needles.

But at this moment, a news broadcast started on the TV.

”Lin Dong, who cured or killed? Is he the leader of the Southern Faction of Traditional Chinese Medicine, or an executioner?”

As soon as the news aired, it immediately caught Qiao Xue’s attention.

She was incredibly shocked and asked aloud, ”Lin Dong, is this leader of the Southern Faction of Traditional Chinese Medicine you?”

Lin Dong nodded, ”It’s me!”

”You... When did you become the leader of the Southern Faction?” Qiao Xue was so astonished she couldn’t speak.

”It’s been a while,” Lin Dong responded, with two fingers of his left hand positioned on two acupoints on her lower abdomen.

At the same time, he said, ”Don’t move, or the needle position might shift.”

Qiao Xue cried out, ”Stop, don’t treat me!”

”The news said you killed someone while treating them, are you going to treat me? Do you want to kill me too?”

Lin Dong was taken aback and his hand, originally poised to insert the needle, stopped in its tracks.

”Lin Dong, I was originally impressed to learn you became the leader of the Southern Faction, but to think that you actually killed someone during treatment?”

”Tell me, how exactly did you manage to deceive those senior members of the Chinese medicine world and get elected as the leader?”

”They are too outrageous!”

Lin Dong didn’t speak as he didn’t want to offer more explanation.

Qiao Bing, who knew the details, explained:

”Sis, it’s not like that...”

”Not like that? Then what is it like?” Qiao Xue asked.

Qiao Bing was startled and really didn’t know how to explain.

And now, it wasn’t a good time to tell Qiao Xue the truth.

Seeing Qiao Bing not speaking, Qiao Xue snorted coldly again,

”The news has reported that he killed someone with his treatment. Little Bing, I really don’t understand why you are still standing on his side?”

”Little Bing, didn’t you used to hate those quacks who disregard human life the most? How come even your principles and bottom line have changed now?”

Qiao Bing became anxious, but she really couldn’t explain to Qiao Xue at the moment.

Lin Dong, holding the filiform needle, was in a dilemma, unsure whether to proceed or not.

”Take your murderous hands away from me!” Qiao Xue berated Lin Dong.

Lin Dong had no choice but to withdraw the needle.

After withdrawing the needle, as one could imagine, Qiao Xue’s pain flared up once again.

The pain was so severe that she nearly convulsed on the bed.

Seeing her sister Qiao Xue in such agony, Qiao Bing said again, ”Sister, just let Lin Dong treat you. His medical skills are really good!”

”That incident was just a misunderstanding...”

But Qiao Xue wouldn’t listen; even in unbearable pain, she refused Lin Dong’s treatment.

Lin Dong gave her a hint with his eyes, saying,

”Sister Bing, since your sister doesn’t need my help with her treatment, I think you should go get her some medicine.”

Qiao Bing knew there was a hidden meaning in Lin Dong’s words and quickly nodded.

Naturally, Qiao Xue didn’t object either; she just didn’t trust Lin Dong but didn’t want to avoid treatment.

Afterward, Qiao Bing and Lin Dong left the hotel room.

Lin Dong gave Qiao Bing a prescription, ”Go to the traditional Chinese medicine shop and get medicine according to this prescription.”

”Once your sister takes this medicine, her Gong Han will immediately get better.”

”After one treatment course, it can be completely cured!””Just, don’t tell her that I was the one who prescribed this medicine. Otherwise, she won’t agree to take it.”

Qiao Bing nodded repeatedly, kissed Lin Dong on the cheek, and said softly, ”Lin Dong, thank you.”

”Sister Bing, why thank me? We don’t need formalities between us. Go get the medicine quickly.”

”Mm-hmm.”

Afterward, Qiao Bing went to get the medicine.

As for Lin Dong, he returned to the hotel room.

At this moment, Qiao Xue in the room was in so much pain on the bed that she was nearly fainting.

In fact, this sickness was very simple for Lin Dong to cure. If he used acupuncture, it would indeed dispel the disease as soon as the needle settled.

But since she refused Lin Dong’s treatment, Lin Dong naturally couldn’t force her!

The two of them were alone in the room, without any conversation.

About seven or eight minutes later, Qiao Bing came back with the medicine.

The medicine prescribed by Lin Dong included both topical and oral medications.

Qiao Bing hurriedly applied the topical medicine to Qiao Xue’s lower abdomen.

Meanwhile, she also boiled some water to prepare the oral medicine for Qiao Xue to take.

After applying the topical medicine, Qiao Xue found that the pain was disappearing.

When she took the oral medicine, she couldn’t help but exclaim,

”Little Bing, your medicine is truly effective. I’m completely better now, it doesn’t hurt at all!”

”Did you prescribe this medicine yourself? Your medical skills are truly amazing!”

Qiao Bing shook her head, ”No, it wasn’t me. It was... a doctor from the Chinese Medicine Department at the hospital that I know!”

She followed Lin Dong’s instruction and didn’t say that the prescription came from him.

”His medical skills are really good indeed!” Qiao Xue expressed her appreciation.

”Here are a few more doses of the medicine. He said that after taking these doses, your Gong Han can be completely cured!” Qiao Bing passed the remaining doses to Qiao Xue.

Qiao Xue took them, overjoyed, ”If it really cures my Gong Han, then I must sincerely thank this divine doctor!”

Qiao Bing smiled helplessly, thinking to herself that the divine doctor you’re talking about is right in front of you.

But you just can’t see Lu Shan’s true face.
