Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 322: Chapter 322: Lin Dong Cured Someone to Death?

”Sister, if Master Lin pursues you, would you agree?”

Qiao Bing suddenly asked.

Qiao Xue thought for a moment and said, ”That would depend on the situation, although he has indeed helped me many times.”

”But if he’s too old, I naturally wouldn’t agree.”

”If he really is suitable in every aspect, then I’m willing to give him a chance!”

Qiao Bing had always known how difficult it was for her sister Qiao Xue to run a company by herself.

In the business world, full of deceit and trickery, without a powerful backing, every step is incredibly hard.

She also knew that her sister had always wanted to find someone reliable to depend on.

Initially, she had this opportunity, but in the end, she missed it.

”Right now, what I’m looking forward to the most is meeting Master Lin himself. I wonder what kind of person he will be?”

”Could he be like a prince from a fairy tale?”

Qiao Xue muttered to herself.

Qiao Bing listened silently beside her, not knowing what to say.

The sisters chatted until after two in the morning before they went to sleep.

And their conversation was mostly about Master Lin.

The next day, Lin Dong came to see Qiao Bing early in the morning as he had promised the day before.

The three of them first had breakfast at the hotel’s buffet.

After sitting down, Qiao Xue said to Qiao Bing, ”Little Bing, this business trip to Southern Capital will take about three days. During these three days, you must accompany me whenever you’re not working.”

Actually, she was also speaking to Lin Dong.

The purpose was to prevent the two of them from being alone, fearing that her younger sister would lose her virtue to Lin Dong.

Qiao Bing looked at Lin Dong, saw him nod slightly, and then sighed, ”Okay, then.”

After breakfast, Qiao Xue left.

She was off to talk business with Qian Feifei, the Qian family heiress who was said to be an expert negotiator.

She wasn’t very confident about it.

After she left, Qiao Bing turned to Lin Dong helplessly. She had wanted to give herself to Lin Dong the night before.

But because of her sister, she hadn’t succeeded.

Lin Dong laughingly asked, ”Sister Bing, why that expression?”

”Last night, I could have had you, but alas, you escaped that fate,” Qiao Bing said, wrinkling her nose.

Lin Dong was at a loss for words. ”Sister Bing, shouldn’t it be the other way around?”

”Not at all. Between us, I’m the proactive one!” Qiao Bing stated, ”Even when we actually become a couple, I’m going to be the one in charge.”

Lin Dong blushed, how could Qiao Bing be so much like Bai Jue?

Could this be the love of an older woman?

However, Lin Dong actually quite liked it and was even looking forward to it.

After that, the two headed for the hospital.

Once they arrived at the hospital, a doctor came over to Lin Dong and said:

”Dr. Lin, several patients have come here specifically asking for you to treat them.”

Lin Dong followed the doctor to where the patients were.

Upon reaching the patients, a rather weak-looking middle-aged man asked, ”Are you the Chief of the Southern Faction’s Traditional Chinese Medicine, Doctor Lin Dong?”

Lin Dong nodded.

The man immediately knelt on the ground and begged, ”Dr. Lin Dong, I’ve heard of your superb medical skills, that you can cure any disease. I have a strange disease that many hospitals have failed to cure. Please, save me.”

Seeing this, Lin Dong smiled and said, ”First, get up. I’ll examine you!”

The middle-aged man nodded, stood up, and let Lin Dong examine him.

After Lin Dong finished the examination, he asked, ”Dr. Lin Dong, after examining my illness, can you cure it?”

Lin Dong replied, ”Yes, I can.”

”That’s great. Dr. Lin Dong, you truly are a divine doctor. Please, treat me quickly!” the patient urged.

Lin Dong smiled, nodded, and then took out his acupuncture needles to begin the treatment.

Meanwhile, in the crowd, two people who witnessed this scene had strange smiles on their faces.

They were secretly recording with a camera!

After Lin Dong started the acupuncture, the expression on the patient’s face changed.

Suddenly, about five to six minutes into the acupuncture, the patient let out an ’Ah’ and screamed tragically.

Then he started trembling on the ground, like an epileptic, and began spitting out foam from his mouth.

This continued for about ten seconds.

The patient’s head lolled to the side, and he lay still on the ground, no longer moving.

Seeing this, the other patients began screaming.

”What’s going on?”

”Did the treatment make it worse?”

”Did he just get killed by the treatment?”

”...”

Doctors rushed over to check, and after examining the patient, one of them exclaimed, ”He’s not breathing!!”

”His heart’s stopped beating too!”

Upon hearing this, chaos erupted on the scene.

”He actually killed someone!”

”What ’Chief of Southern Faction’s Traditional Chinese Medicine’? More like a life-threatening quack!”

”...”

In the midst of the uproar, the two people hiding in the crowd with cameras that had recorded everything stealthily slipped away.

This incident quickly alerted the hospital.

The hospital administrators, with the Vice President himself, came over.

First, they took control of the scene and sent everyone away.

Now, only Lin Dong, Qiao Bing, and the Vice President remained.

The Vice President frowned and said, ”Dr. Lin Dong, how could you be so careless? This is a serious medical accident. Our hospital can’t protect you from this!”

At this moment, Qiao Bing’s face didn’t look good either.

She also didn’t understand. With Lin Dong’s superb medical skills, he shouldn’t be making such mistakes.

So why did this happen now?

Looking at Lin Dong, she saw that he remained very calm, even smiling.

The Vice President, seeing this, became angry and said,

”Lin Dong, how can you be like this? With such an incident happening, you still smile? That’s too callous, isn’t it?”

He didn’t care about Lin Dong’s status as the leader of the Southern Faction of Traditional Chinese Medicine anymore and directly addressed him by his name.

Lin Dong seemed unfazed and waved his hand, ”Vice President, don’t worry. This person isn’t dead at all.”

”As for why I’m smiling, you’ll find out soon.”

With that, he walked over to the lying patient and took out a filiform needle.

Seeing this, both the Vice President and Qiao Bing showed puzzled expressions.

What exactly was going on?
