Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Chapter 524: Sign This Contract and You’re a Lesser Witch

With this perfection of the Great Tree of Knowledge, I completed the derivation of the ”Dual-Tree Structure” for the Great Tree of Knowledge entity by leveraging the spell effect of the Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell.

This development unlocked the Great Tree of Knowledge’s utilization of [Transcendent Knowledge], promoting the balance between the Sea of Consciousness and the Sea of Dreams, and linking it to myself to achieve the birth of the Body Cultivation Sixth Sense.

If you were to ask for a concrete summary of the improvements… broadly speaking: First, I made a preliminary attempt at developing the spell effect of the Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell, marking a solid first step into the utilization of the Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell Grand Spellbook.

Second, the Great Tree of Knowledge was perfected.

This perfection was reflected in various inconspicuous areas, such as clearer information probing of the Earth Energy converted by the Earth Vein when using the Earth Vein Appraisal Spell, and the enhancement of the Great Tree of Knowledge’s information processing capability.

Most importantly, the Great Tree of Knowledge achieved ”dominion” over the Sea of Dreams by leveraging the ”Dual-Tree Structure.”

This meant that by coordinating with the Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell, the Seed of Great Knowledge could be used independently within the Sea of Dreams, completely resolving the awkward situation where the Fool’s Dreams could not use it.

Finally, there was the Body Cultivation Sixth Sense.

After the Academy Head shared some basic Body Cultivation common knowledge, Big Sis Bai also shared her Body Cultivation knowledge with me.

As a result, I now had a brand-new understanding of ”Mental Realm” perception.

If the Five Senses are concrete physical perceptions, then the Heart Sense is an abstract perception of Body Cultivation.

Therefore, it’s not that the heart gained sensory ability, but that after the Heart Sense was cultivated step-by-step, the first intuitive perception was to sense the opponent’s heartbeat.

This wasn’t hearing, but ”Heartbeat Resonance”, which was a superficial manifestation of perceiving an opponent’s state.

Following that was the Mental Realm.

Many people would say that the Body Cultivation Mental Realm is actually the application of Body Cultivation to conscious Mental Power, but this is inaccurate.

The power of the Mental Realm is far more complex than simple Mental Power.

It is the subjective manifestation of the Body Cultivator’s personal will and inner realm.

They prefer to call it the power of the mind.

Due to the complexity of this power, the subjective external manifestation of the Heart Sense is called the ”Domain Prototype”.

This is because it has already reached the stage-based manifestation of Domain command in normal cultivation systems.

In Body Cultivation, besides the fundamental Five Senses Enhancement, there is the Sixth Sense: Heart Sense, the Seventh Sense: Time Sense, and the Eighth Sense: Space Sense.

As for the Ninth Sense… perhaps it exists, but Big Sis Bai is currently not very clear about it.

Even Big Sis Bai only achieved the birth and subsequent cultivation of the Sixth Sense: Heart Sense through the culmination of her efforts when her Five Senses Enhancement transformed into True Five Senses upon advancing to a Transcendent Witch.

Therefore, her knowledge of the Seventh Sense and Eighth Sense remains at the theoretical stage.

These are the achievements I attained during this period of ”deep sleep.”

It’s somewhat incredible.

If possible… I wish I could achieve this level every day.

Even though I clearly know it’s impossible, I can still proceed step-by-step.

Just like now.

After completing the derivation of the Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell’s spell effect for the Fool’s Dreams, the two spell effects now exist in mutual dependence, completely solving the problem encountered earlier.

The Tree of Wisdom’s Enlightenment (derived from the Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell) now acts like the ”water” in my previous ”Soilless Cultivation” analogy, allowing the Seed of Great Knowledge to take root and sprout in the Sea of Dreams.

Furthermore, the Fool’s Dream’s Great Tree of Knowledge is also different from others, being a ”Dual-Tree Structure” almost identical to mine.

My own ”Dual-Tree Structure” is also somewhat different from that of the Fool’s Dreams, because one of the trees in my structure is the core entity of the Grand Spellbook.

In fact, my ambition is, if possible, to derive the Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell into the Tree of Wisdom’s Enlightenment, making it a permanently linked Grand Spellbook—the unification of two Grand Spellbooks.

Although this is still just an ambition and not a reality, there is another discovery I cannot ignore: the Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell’s spell effect, after combining with the Great Tree of Knowledge, produced an unknown ”Transcendent Energy”.

I beckoned, and energy surged forth.

This energy belonged to a highly complex mixed energy, and its nature was extremely peculiar.

Even its manifestation in material space was very interesting.

The surge of energy led to its flow in material space in the most suitable manner, but its flowing pattern was… the deduction process of knowledge information.

This is very peculiar, as if its existence is dependent on the existence of knowledge.

Furthermore… I am certain that the deduction of this knowledge is entirely sourced from the Great Tree of Knowledge.

This means that as the inner foundation of knowledge in my Great Tree of Knowledge increases, this peculiar energy manifestation will also become richer.

Therefore… the Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell must have a method of utilization that I have not yet discovered, but at this moment, it leveraged the Great Tree of Knowledge to reveal a fraction of itself.

The appearance of this energy endowed the Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell with the characteristics of an Evocation Spell.

The explosive nature of this energy alone is enough to cause considerable destructive power in the material world.

This is the information I obtained after a test.

It’s somewhat interesting, but not entirely so, so I’ll temporarily call this Transcendent Energy the ”Power of Knowledge”.

Now, knowledge truly is power.

The generation of this energy stems from the complete combination of the Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell and the Great Tree of Knowledge, but the more specific source is unknown.

Investigating it would require investing more time and energy, so I temporarily put it aside.

I have many other things to do, and merely testing this power is already the limit.

…

While I was busy with various things in my laboratory, the outside world was in an uproar.

With the completion of a new Grand Spellbook, even though the matter had nothing to do with them, the Grand Spellbook test—the one thing they most enjoyed witnessing—was delayed without anyone taking the lead to convene it.

This led many idle Witches to seek out the orchestrator of this incident, which was Academy Head Mei.

However, Academy Head Mei did not evade the gossip this time and clearly stated that this was not a Grand Spellbook she had created; she was only the witness to the creation and perfection of this Grand Spellbook.

The true creator was someone else.

Then, under the persistent questioning of some Witches, Academy Head Mei did not hesitate to reveal Little Han.

Of course, she did not reveal Little Han in a public setting, but she told the truth when some of her closest friends privately inquired.

She only stated publicly that she would use her own guarantee to apply for the Lesser Witch identity certification and Contract application for Little Han to the Lesser Witch Mutual Aid Association and the Primal Witch Lord, ensuring that all Transcendent Witches recognized Little Han’s ”Lesser Witch” status and accepted her.

As for the so-called doubts and reasons… she would let those Witches who loved to gossip slowly investigate.

After all, there was nothing else to do during the holidays.

Rather than causing trouble everywhere, it was better to give them something to do.

And then… Witch Dana suddenly became the head of the gossip mill at the moment, because she knew far too much.

Many rumors came from her.

Subsequently, the topics related to the ”Seed of Great Knowledge” were also immediately exposed.

Although most of them had some understanding of the matter beforehand, the confirmation that the so-called Seed of Great Knowledge was part of the spell test for this Grand Spellbook still made many Witches extremely excited.

Although… the timing didn’t seem to match, a relevant explanation was quickly circulated.

The disturbance from this Void Crack was not very large; it was merely the re-perfection of a Grand Spellbook.

This Grand Spellbook had already been completed some time ago.

As for the commotion when it was first completed… that occurred in the Small World, the one about to collide with the Main World.

Academy Head Bev Ailana, who was part of the earlier Void Exploration Team, could testify to this.

It could be said that these Witches, in their desire to watch the show, spent these few days searching everywhere for the course of events, piecing together the process of this Grand Spellbook’s creation.

Even Teacher Ji Niang at the academic research base was harassed more than once, and the spells related to the Reverse Summoning Spell also entered the sight of the Witches and were played with extensively.

The joy of Witches is probably that simple.

Of course!

Over these past few days, I was also ”harassed” by many batches of Transcendent Witches.

They found the villa I was assigned as a Teaching Assistant from who knows where and precisely located me, the ”culprit” of all these incidents.

Go straight to the source.

Was there anything that couldn’t be resolved at the source?

My place then became a ”holy land” frequently visited by those Witches with nothing else to do.

Most of those who came said they were there to ”worship,” to meet me, the ”genius Teaching Assistant.”

Of course, there were also Academic Witches who came to exchange relevant experiences.

Many Academic Witches even came of their own accord, wanting to voluntarily test and perfect the research on the Grand Spellbook for me.

After all, many Witches understood that I, this little fellow who had not yet advanced to Transcendent status, was currently in possession of two Grand Spellbooks!

One was the Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell, which Academy Head Mei ”invested” in me.

However, the tests for this spell had disappointed the vast majority of Witches.

Even the tests conducted during the trip to Ninglan New City left them very confused, only knowing that the test brought the Fool’s Dreams into reality, as the Fool’s Dreams were the revelation carriers strongly related to this [Transcendent Knowledge].

Furthermore, the Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell facilitated my Body Cultivation awakening, but in this case… the Grand Spellbook merely served as a catalyst.

Coupled with Academy Head Mei’s immediate decision to give this Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell to someone else, many Witches did not think highly of this Grand Spellbook.

After all, Academy Head Mei, as its creator, was the Witch who understood it best.

If it were truly powerful, she wouldn’t have handed it over.

They were more interested in the Great Tree of Knowledge, which, even in its current state of ongoing perfection, could exhibit such effects.

How could it not be anticipated?

Because the effect of this Spellbook could be ”shared”!

No one could refuse to ”benefit”, and Witches were no exception.

Especially the few Witches who were the first to receive the Seed of Great Knowledge from Academy Head Mei.

The effects brought by the Tree of Knowledge they tested made many Witches desire one, even if not for Photographic memory, having a constant companion in Little Han was also great.

Those Witches who had previously wondered why the image of the so-called Shadow of Knowledge was that of Little Han finally understood why at this moment: because this Grand Spellbook belonged to her.

Through contact over these few days, I also established cooperative relationships with several Academic Witches.

They even voluntarily formed a Research Group focused on the Tree of Knowledge.

They asked for nothing in return; they simply wished to participate and acquire related research and ideas.

The Great Tree of Knowledge Grand Spellbook was a conception that was extremely rare even to them.

Especially the original Revelation of this [Transcendent Knowledge]—they hadn’t expected it to be approached in this way.

They even stated that if they had taken over this Transcendent Knowledge, the Grand Spellbook they would have ultimately created would most likely be related to the plant system.

This was a microcosm of Transcendent inclusiveness: the way one approached the research determined the form the research took, aligning with the researcher’s corresponding expectation.

Although only a few days had passed, the Academic Witches willing to research this Grand Spellbook with me had roughly divided into three research directions.

The first was the research on the Shadow of Knowledge.

The Shadow of Knowledge was not merely a subconscious Avatar; it was also the manager and retriever of knowledge and memories within the Great Tree of Knowledge.

By integrating the Flexible Learning and Application Spell and the architecture of a Plant Network, the application of the Shadow of Knowledge had long permeated every aspect of the Great Tree of Knowledge.

Therefore, the research and iterative updates in this area were extremely difficult and tedious.

Of course, this sort of thing had to proceed gradually, such as attempting to change the image of the Shadow of Knowledge in the current phase.

The second research direction was the research on the Earth Vein Information Appraisal Spell.

This was also very difficult.

However, the technology involved was not extensive; its essence was probably the issue of Earth Energy conversion rate.

Of course, there was also the issue of information tiers for the Appraisal Spell, which was a huge undertaking.

And the third research direction… was the issue of linking the Great Tree of Knowledge with the Witch Academy’s Academy Network.

This matter had been decided long ago.

The Academy Head had also facilitated the introduction for me.

So, after I proactively contacted the relevant person, she immediately agreed happily upon understanding the situation and learning that I was inviting her to join the research related to the Grand Spellbook, and she even brought several of her sisters along.

Transcendent Witches seemed to have an inexplicable obsession with Grand Spellbooks, especially so after hearing that I was the highly popular Little Han of the past few days.

However, interfacing with the Academy Network’s Earth Vein System was not difficult; it was merely a problem of continuous adjustment and synchronization matching.

The main reason I deliberately invited these tutors over was one thing: to use their rich experience in Academy Network development to build a cognitive firewall for my Great Tree of Knowledge.

It could be said that these few days were the busiest time for me, yet also the most leisurely time, because most of the things I did were actually ”task allocation,” letting others work for me to save more of my time.

Although it looked like I was getting busier from a macro perspective, the efficiency I gained during this period was countless times higher than my original plan!

I admit, this was indeed trouble, but it was a happy trouble.

This was also the first time I realized how satisfying it was to have others help you.

Just as I was having an in-depth conversation with a tutor about the inspiration for the Earth Energy conversion of the Appraisal Spell, a sudden burst of noise interrupted our conversation.

“Eh? Academy Head Mei? Why did you suddenly come here? You didn’t even notify us beforehand…”

Seeing that it was Academy Head Mei in person, many Witches also stopped what they were doing and looked over.

“It’s because the matter was quite sudden. I have applied for the Witch’s Contract for you to become a Lesser Witch. From now on, we can address each other as sisters.”

Mei Linde smiled and took out a Witch’s Contract.

The content of the Contract was clearly written on the slightly ancient parchment.

Many Witches were extremely surprised by this.

The application came through so quickly?

But the Witches who were close enough to see the content of the Witch’s Contract gasped in awe!

“To… to think! Mei Linde, Lilith… Ah? Is that the Primal Witch Lord’s signature! Did the Primal Witch Lord also get involved in this matter? Did she also vouch for Little Han?!”

“Naturally. Otherwise, why do you think this Contract came through so quickly? Perhaps you don’t know yet, but the Primal Witch Lord’s Avatar saw Little Han when she came to receive a sister for registration at the Great Library, and she even commented that she thought highly of her.”

Amidst the surprised exclamations of the Witches, Mei Linde smiled and explained, gradually approaching me.

“Little Han Sign it quickly. Under our witness, once you sign it… I should change my address and call you Sister Little Han.”

“Okay…”

Surrounded by the crowd of Witches, I heavily nodded, stating my firm commitment to the Witch race.
