Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 243: Customization done, it’s time to build!

The exception was the Primordial Human.

Primordial Human cells were explicitly engineered for combat. Smaller in size, denser in distribution, and far higher in unit count, this alone granted them terrifying regeneration speed and exceptional energy recovery.

More importantly, these cells possessed the ability to permeate the entire body in rapid succession, transmitting instructions almost instantaneously.

This was precisely why Primordial Humans were classified as the fighter variant of humanity.

And also why they possessed the trait known as Cellular Memory Activation which allowed them to dodge automatically.

If Grey’s understanding was correct, this trait could not exist without this specific cellular framework.

There was no real room for doubt.

Among all available options, the Primordial Human cell structure was the most compatible for him.

”However...” Grey’s gaze lingered on the remaining choices, his thoughts shifting.

”It seems I can merge the others as well.”

The cells of gods and True Source Dragons, at least in their humanoid forms, were not fundamentally different from those of ordinary humans. Their true advantages lay elsewhere.

Internal structure. Energy frameworks. Origin imprints.

The lack of specialization at the cellular level was likely intentionally neglected by the Higher Beings that created the Techniques.

After all, True dragons and Gods were born as high ranking existences. They had no need for transformation techniques to refine something that was already complete.

Which meant this technique had simply bypassed that layer altogether, as it was created with the sole purpose of aligning one with their race and reaching 3rd rank.

Still, Grey was not one to ignore possibilities.

Just in case he would fuse them.

Who knew, maybe it would lead to unexpected results, or maybe the effects of the Primordial Human cells would be amplified in the process.

[Cell: God + True Source Dragon + Primordial Human]

With that locked in, Grey moved on to the next option.

Body.

As soon as he selected it, another menu opened.

[Internal Structure: None]

[Organs: None]

[Elixir Fields: None]

[Extra Add ons: None]

Grey stared at the interface for a second longer than necessary.

Earlier it already felt strange, but now, seeing such a clearly layered and deliberate customization system, he couldn’t help but feel curious about who had created this technique in the first place.

Still, he pushed that thought aside. Now wasn’t the time to think about who created this game-like character customization technique.

For the first option, he didn’t hesitate.

He directly chose dragon.

He had already studied Alissa’s body in detail. Her energy pathways were arranged with extreme precision, their positioning optimized for stable circulation and efficient output.

The skeletal structure was built using true source dragon scale, something he had confirmed while analyzing her internal framework.

That alone placed it far above ordinary humanoid structures.

However, the nervous system of a mystic human was far better in terms of internal structure.

These humans excelled in magic and spell casting, hence, their nervous system was powerful. Signal conduction was faster and more direct, prioritizing mental response alongside energy flow.

Hence, he chose it alongside the true source dragon. Of course, among all humanoid frameworks he had seen, the true source dragon’s internal structure still stood at the top.

Now it was time to choose the organs.

For the organs, he without a doubt went with the gods.

He had personally examined Lia’s internal structure, and while her organs followed a humanoid layout, their essence was fundamentally different.

They were not simple flesh bound constructs utilized to keep one functioning, but perfect vessels forged to sustain her divinity as a god.

Her heart, in particular, left a deep impression on him.

In the place of her heart were three crystalline cores. The centerpiece acted as a secondary elixir field, while the others had a far greater purpose.

Each pulse from these cores was precisely timed to purify her body. Blood, essence, and even outside energy residue passed through the cores, and the cores immediately acted as filters, purifying anything harmful that entered her body.

In short, it was a divine regulator that regulated her mortal divine body.

A system designed to maintain the perfection of a god rather than merely preserve life.

Such organs did not struggle to survive. They enforced order upon the body itself, ensuring stability, longevity, and absolute internal harmony.

Contamination found no foothold within.

That was what separated gods from mortals, an existence exempt from impurity.

And so, without hesitation, he chose the gods for his organs.

Elixir fields required no thought either. This too went to the gods.

Lia had two elixir fields with two compressed divine energy stars inside them.

If he wasn’t wrong, once she progressed and reached the 3rd rank, she would have two cores.

And if he chose this, he too would have two cores at the 3rd rank.

But quite honestly, he didn’t know what a second core was going to do.

Well, that was for him to find out at a later date.

Because once he finished selecting the elixir fields, it was time for the Extra Add on.

And this time, there was only one thing to choose from.

[Biological Information Anchor (True Source Dragon)]

This anchor would be crucial for him.

Without it, he wouldn’t be able to access the dragon form.

Or store the origin imprints of beasts.

Speaking of origin imprints, those were next.

For this, he didn’t even need to think twice. He selected all of them. He will unlock Alissa’s trait and Lia’s trait immediately after transformation and the traits of others at the 12th level.

If he manages to comprehend origin imprints then he also has the option to put them into his anchor and unlock it early.

That aside, these customizations were not for just one marking, but to finalize everything and form the final twelve markings that would forever be engraved into his DNA structure.

They would slowly unfold one by one, starting with changes in appearance and structure. From the second marking onward, the transformation process would strengthen and solidify as each level progressed.

”It’s done.” Grey heaved a sigh of relief.

The technique being game like was quite surprising to him, but this must have been created by an extremely powerful powerhouse, perhaps at the level of true dragons and gods, or even higher.

The term Chaos in the technique spoke more volume than anything else.

Sighing, he steadied himself.

Starting from the next moment, he would begin his transformation, and he didn’t want any mishaps to occur.

....

While Grey was customizing his own race template, not even a second had passed in the outside world.

Xia Qingyue was observing Grey quietly. Then, the next moment, her expression turned serious.

Boom!

Core Essence covered his body in a thin layer of light, and Nexus energy surged out.

”???”

The following moment, Grey’s body was rapidly beginning to expand.
