Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 238: Comprehension Successful

The circulation method was bizarre.

Its circulation pattern was bizarre and had never been seen before.

If one showed it to a man from the 21st century, he would probably collapse from confusion.

It was that complex.

And Grey wished to precisely merge these circulation methods together in a way that allowed him to form genetic markings all at once.

It wasn’t far-fetched to say that it was an impossible feat. In fact, one might even say that it was harder than finding nexus energy or understanding genetic markings.

Yet, to Grey, who held the power of comprehension, this feat was very much within his limits and understanding.

Grey furiously wrote in his notebook with full concentration. He was writing down whatever came to his mind, wanting to start with what he knew first.

The basic foundation of the technique.

And quite honestly, he had no idea where to begin.

But he knew one thing.

The best way to do it was by observation.

Observing the circulation itself.

Before this, he had never focused on the circulation pattern, as he was too absorbed in understanding the structural engineering and the genetic marking formation.

But observing the circulation was crucial, perhaps even more so than understanding structural engineering, because without it one wouldn’t be able to form genetic markings to change the DNA structure in the first place.

Grey swiftly summoned the Grey clone.

Starting from this point, one thing was for certain. The clone was going to blow up a lot of times.

”I should conduct the experiment in the secret realm.” Grey thought as he waved his hand.

The secret realm portal appeared, and by splitting his consciousness, he controlled the Grey clone and entered it.

Now, even if it blew up, he could suppress it using the power of the secret realm.

Grey then fell into deep thought.

For starters, he wanted to try merging two circulation patterns of two different races together to see the result.

He instructed the clone to start cultivating the God transformation technique and the human transformation technique.

Just in case, he activated his True Origin Insight.

Perhaps he would be able to comprehend the pattern more clearly with it.

And he wasn’t wrong.

His heaven-defying comprehension stirred.

[Your comprehension defies the heavens. By observing the circulation pattern of the Endless Heavens of God Transformation Technique and the Primordial Human transformation, you’ve understood their circulation patterns.]

The process was instantaneous. He instantly comprehended the patterns, but at the same time, the clone burst apart.

A terrifying shockwave spread outward from the Grey clone’s collapse, and a mushroom cloud rose from the site.

The energy generated by the explosion was enough to level an entire city.

”...”

Grey said nothing, as he was currently reviewing the circulation patterns.

He now understood them completely.

And also why they contradicted each other.

The god’s technique followed a circulation pattern that closely resembled autonomy, while the Primordial Human’s energy pattern was a sharp contrast to it.

The amount of time they shared a similar circulation pattern was only once, and when they both met, the clone exploded.

Then Grey’s expression turned thoughtful.

If Grey wasn’t wrong, the interconnection between the two circulation methods happened just before the first genetic marking formed.

The god and human circulation patterns only aligned once. That alignment just so happened to be before the first genetic marking formed.

The reason the clone collapsed was precisely due to this. Both techniques tried to finalize a marking, but one attempted to override the other, causing it to explode and completely destroying the body in the process.

”If... if we can freeze the moment just before the two markings collide...”

If there was a technique that could keep that instant frozen for a split second, neither technique would complete its overwrite.

And if neither could complete it alone, the DNA itself would be forced to act to resolve the contradiction in one unified rewrite.

This would result in two genetic markings forming at the same time.

In simpler terms, both techniques were trying to write instructions into the DNA.

One always finished first and erased the other, which caused the body to collapse.

But if that exact moment was frozen, even for a split second, neither side could finish.

With no winner, the DNA would have no choice but to merge both instructions into one.

Instead of conflict, it would flow together.

That was the only moment the body wouldn’t reject either side.

Grey’s expression turned into one of excitement.

He couldn’t believe it.

He had actually found a solution by himself without completely relying on his comprehension.

This solution, he came up with on his own.

Of course, the comprehension also deserved its praise. Without it, he absolutely wouldn’t have reached this conclusion.

Without it, would he have been able to instantly comprehend the circulation patterns? The answer was no.

Grey swiftly calmed himself down.

Although he understood what to do, he still wasn’t done.

He still needed to observe the other circulation patterns and then finally create a technique to override the collapse by freezing the instant the genetic markings formed.

And he didn’t have to worry about blowing up either, because he could test endlessly using his shapeless ability.

Soon, Grey began comprehending the other transformation technique patterns.

The Mystic Human transformation, the Ascended Human transformation, and the True Source Dragon transformation technique.

He paid particular attention to the Ascended Human and True Source Dragon techniques.

The True Source Dragon held the power of transformation, while the Ascended Human transformation technique held the power to form Dharma weapons.

Dharma weapons could be anything, and they would forever be one’s weapon. He very much wanted one.

And he wanted one for himself.

That way, he could put Shapeless to more use instead of it being utilized as just a sword.

Soon, he was done.

All the circulation patterns, including the High Human’s, had been completely comprehended by him.

And just as he finished.

His comprehension stirred to life.

Immediately, his mind was hit with a storm of information.

[Your comprehension defies the heavens. By observing the circulation patterns of various transformation techniques, you’ve managed to ascertain the evolutionary limits and bypass them completely by understanding how to form more than one genetic marking.]
