Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 164: Ascension Province (5)

But from her reaction, Grey realized immediately that she knew a thing or two about the seal.

”Could she be related to that seal?” Xia Qingyue asked in a slightly trembling voice.

”Well. She is connected to the seal for sure.” Grey nodded.

She wasn’t the consciousness of the seal, no, she was the thing sealed inside the seal.

According to his comprehension ability, she was the ”Axe’s consciousness”.

Xia Qingyue, hearing his words, was stunned.

She had lived for countless ages and seen a lot of things, yet this planet continuously managed to keep making her shocked one after another.

This entire planet was not normal.

And she finally knew the reason.

She knew why this planet was so mysterious with hidden dangers and power.

”The chaos seal.” She spoke. ”I know what it is.”

”I’m listening.” Grey nodded with a thumbs up.

Seeing this, Xia Qingyue continued. ”The chaos seal from what I know is something very mysterious. It’s something that doesn’t belong to this world.”

”Something that doesn’t belongs to this world?” Grey was surprised.

”Yes.” Xia Qingyue nodded. ”The experts of the old era had already confirmed it. One day these seals emerged into the starry sky and vanished without a trace.”

”Everyone searched for it for countless years and eventually someone managed to find it in a completely remote, backwater planet that couldn’t be detected with the starry sky’s great powers’ radars.”

”Through the person that found it, the chaos seal’s origin was explained. It was something used to seal something very powerful. As for what it is, no one knows to this day.”

”But according to him, the seal is an extremely powerful thing and it doesn’t originate from our world and the planet this seal fell on was completely covered in a mist, normal radar or eyes would never be able to pick up the location.”

”It makes sense. It finally makes sense why the powers of the starry sky haven’t found this place yet!” Xia Qingyue mumbled.

Grey clearly heard it. ’Well, some power from the starry sky did find this place tho’.

He wanted to ask about the Daoye Palace, but he held it in for now.

He didn’t want to unnecessarily reveal what he knew.

”Then, the person who found the first seal disappeared along with the planet it was found on. This happened at the time when I wasn’t even born yet and since then, no one had found the rest of the seals.”

”And nobody talked about it since then, only a select few know about it.”

”Well, you should know by now that this planet is where one of the fragments of the seal fell.” Grey replied.

Xia Qingyue nodded. ”It makes sense. The seal is known to attract strange and powerful things towards it. I believe the strangeness of this planet’s ice walls is also related to that.”

”Possible.” Grey nodded.

In a way it was correct, if the Daoye Palace didn’t descend and manipulate the king into trying to take out the seal, then this planet would be thriving right now without any influence from the outside world.

”Let me ask you, is the seal with you?” Xia Qingyue’s expression was serious. ”If it is with you, under extreme circumstances, do not reveal it to anyone.”

She knew what this implied and the consequences of having it, she merely wished to warn Grey about it.

”Well kinda, I guess?” Grey tilted his head. ”Little Hong is the proof that I have it, but it’s not complete, the fragment I mean.”

”The fragment isn’t complete?” Xia Qingyue questioned. ”How could that be?”

”It probably split when it landed on the planet. From what I know, the fragments are scattered across the four regions of Blue Star.” Grey explained.

”As for the whereabouts of the others, I don’t know for certain, I will have to personally visit other regions to find it myself.”

”Is that so?” Xia Qingyue asked with a frown.

She then turned to Little Hong once again.

”It is likely that her powers are sealed within each of these seals. Her powers should increase with each fragment.” Xia Qingyue deduced.

”Possible.” Grey nodded.

He thought the same too, if her strength comes back bit by bit, will she reach Origin Manifestation then?

He looked forward to it.

The more reference he had over something, the better his final product would be.

Creating the 5th rank Chapter of the Nexus Ascension evolutionary path would not be an easy task.

Things would only be several times harder than it is now and having a live Origin Manifestation realm being with him could definitely fasten the process.

Worst case scenario, he would ask the immortal lady herself for it.

She would be the best candidate for research after Little Hong.

He would reach Origin Manifestation realm no matter what and now that he knew about their capabilities, he only wanted to reach that level even faster.

Then, Grey thought of another thing.

”Senior, I promise that I won’t tell anyone about the seal, now do you have any transformation technique that I can use?” Grey flashed her a sincere smile. ”It will definitely be helpful to me.”

”...” Xia Qingyue sighed seeing this.

She honestly doubted if Evan was her disciple or Grey, because Grey had taken out more powerful techniques from her than Evan ever did. Last time, it was a powerful cleansing technique, now this.

”I got some.” She came close to him and gently touched his temple.

Immediately, information surged into his head.

With her physical body out, she could directly transfer it into his mind.

Soon, in Grey’s head, three transformation techniques emerged.

They were called:

Primordial Human Transformation Technique.

Ascended Human Transformation Technique.

Mystic Human Transformation Technique.

Grey opened his eyes and immediately thanked the senior.

”You are so kind senior! There is no one as benevolent as you in this planet!”

Human transformation techniques from the starry sky!

This could definitely help when he was going to develop his transformation technique!

Grey then continued asking. ”Senior, do you have any non-human transformation techniques? Like the one used by a phoenix or a dragon.”

However, Xia Qingyue merely shook her head. ”Phoenixes and dragons? No such things exist in the starry sky, there are only myths about them existing in the ancient time. I don’t have a non-human transformation technique either.”

”But.” She paused. ”How do you know about phoenixes and dragons? There shouldn’t be anything about it here in the Blue Star.”

Hearing this, Grey merely shook his head. ”No comments.”

”...” The immortal lady looked at him dryly.

This guy was truly an ungrateful guy, she helped him but he refused to say anything about why he knew about these things, first he knew about the starry sky and now phoenix and dragons.

Yet she couldn’t wrap her finger around it.

He was still only 17 years old.

And that was his soul age.

That meant, he was no old monster that descended from the starry sky.

It truly made her question. How did he know about all this?

She sighed, he would eventually tell her about it. She couldn’t force him.

At the same time, she had also noticed that her powers were now running short.

”My power is completely over now.” She spoke, her voice turning hazy and echoish. ”I will now go back to sleeping, I’m sure you can handle the rest from here, if I’m forced to come out again I’ll most likely perish. And remember, don’t tell anyone about the chaos seal.”

Then, without waiting for Grey’s words, the world flashed and the colors returned and the immortal lady vanished along with the return of the color of the world.
