Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 150: Army of infernals (1)

”Alright, now use your ability.” Grey spoke as he flew into the sky. ”Summon as many as you can. Do not worry about energy.”

”Yes.” Lia listened and immediately did as he said.

Weighing the pros and cons, it might seem like a bad idea to trust someone to fix her lack of energy control. But the person in question was Grey, and she did not doubt him one bit.

At the same time, she glanced at his face, more precisely at his eyes.

Just what had he been up to during the last few months?

From the Immortal Lady, she knew he was definitely the reason why the power of heaven descended into this world.

She was curious. What new power had he achieved now? For one thing, she knew his eyes held special powers.

What could be hiding inside them?

She then glanced down at Alissa, who was looking up at them with a conflicted expression.

Alissa was Grey’s sister, yet he had not bothered speaking to her all this time. So it was only natural that Alissa would feel awkward.

Of course, Grey had noticed her, but he was too absorbed in Lia’s new powers and abilities to bother with her right now.

He would naturally talk to her once this was all over. That would also be the case with Lia, since he needed to have a lengthy chat with her. He was curious about how all of this had happened, and although she seemed familiar, Grey had already noticed some changes in her that he could not figure out yet. Maybe by speaking with her, he might discover something interesting.

Then, Lia began.

She stretched her arms and slowly spoke. However, the words that came out of her mouth were not normal human language.

Rather, it was something ancient and mysterious.

As soon as she spoke, Grey’s ability was triggered.

[Your comprehension defies the heaven! By listening to God Tongue you have comprehended ’God Tongue’]

The incomprehensible words spoken by Lia began to become understandable to Grey.

”Hell Portal.” As soon as she spoke, the energy within her churned, and the seal on her forehead formed again as the energy and the seal connected.

Grey was observing all this using his mind perception, and seeing the energy, he immediately activated True Origin Sight.

[Your comprehension defies the heaven! By observing ’Divine Energy’ you have comprehended the energy pattern of ’Divine Energy’]

’Oh?’ Grey was immediately surprised when he saw the combination of divine energy. ’This is interesting.’

The divine energy did not have just one energy pattern.

No, it had two.

This was a shocking revelation.

’This emerging pattern is that of true origin energy and cosmic energy?’ Grey was surprised.

’Does that mean the gods have found a way to fuse energy?’

His own aetheric energy was a fusion of life and cosmic energy, and so far no one had found such an energy to this date. But from the looks of it, a combination of true origin energy and another energy clearly existed.

Grey gained new inspiration from this. If that was the case, he could try merging other energies with true origin energy to see if there were other beings who knew energy fusion as well.

His comprehension ability would let him know easily.

He did not know where the gods lived, but his comprehension ability could even steal... no, comprehend their laws and identify one as a god. It silently made him reassess his power.

However, it did not end there.

Grey’s expression changed when he looked at Lia’s physiology.

[Your comprehension defies the heaven! By observing a ’God’ you have gained insight into ’Endless Heaven of God Transformation’]

’A transformation technique!’ Grey was stunned.

It was actually a transformation technique.

Not just any transformation technique, but one used by a god.

’This girl, she is a walking treasury at this point.’

Grey did not know whether to laugh or cry.

For some reason, Lia had everything he needed. The endless potential body and now a transformation technique.

’I need it!’ Grey’s eyes brightened.

A god’s technique.

There was no doubt he might be able to create his own perfect transformation technique with it.

Then Grey focused, because something was happening inside Lia’s body.

As soon as the energy and the special seal made contact, the divine energy went out of control. The shifted meridians within Lia’s body were starting to become more bloated.

Seeing this, Grey immediately stopped time.

Whrrmmm!

Everything froze, except one person, who was none other than the Immortal Lady staring at him with wide eyes.

She had naturally noticed his eyes, and she had seen those exact eyes before in the starry sky, the eyes of a saint.

She did not know what secret power they possessed, but now she knew.

Stopping time!

This mortal, who was not even a fourth rank, stopped time.

It completely shattered the Immortal Lady’s understanding.

Grey naturally noticed her gaze, but he did not pay attention to it, because if he focused on anything else right now, Lia’s meridians would burst and cause serious injuries.

Nexus energy surged from his compressed nexus star and shot toward the divine energy. The out-of-control divine energy tried to drown the nexus energy, but what was nexus energy?

’Trying to fight your daddy, huh?’ Grey laughed at the divine energy.

Nexus energy surged like a tidal wave as the divine energy was rendered useless under its powerful pressure.

Time began to flow normally, and Lia, who had a slightly pained expression, now had a confused look.

”It’s done. Don’t worry. Continue with the summoning.” Grey said with a smile.

”Yes.” Lia nodded and continued.

And soon, two portals appeared above Grey and Lia.

”That is not enough.” Grey said as he stared at the portals.

[Your comprehension defies the heaven! By observing the ’Hell Portal Ability’ you have gained insight into its mechanics]

”I need more energy to summon more portals and a higher level of power.” Lia replied after hearing Grey.

”Hm, is that so?” Grey nodded.

This was the perfect time to test his halo.

First, he took out several cosmic ores from the secret realm inside Brandon’s treasury, and then a light erupted from his head as the area suddenly flashed silver purple.

Then, a high halo formed directly above Grey’s head, catching everyone’s attention.
