Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1167: Chapter 1167: Restless

”Dean, why keep an intern like her around? Are we waiting for her to cause a medical accident, harm a patient, destroy herself, and tarnish our hospital’s reputation?” Ji Chuan said sharply.

”It seems I’m not the only one with complaints about her. The leaders of your hospital’s two major departments have issues with her, can’t the dean make a decision now?” Qin Jian looked at the dean gravely.

”Yes, I can make a decision now.”

The dean took out Ruan Fangfang’s internship evaluation form and decisively left his comments on it.

”You go announce it,” he handed the form to Ji Chuan, ”tell her she can leave now, no need to come back for the internship.”

”That was brisk.” Ji Chuan took the form from the dean, turned, and walked out. As he passed by Qin Jian, he winked at him.

”Since the dean has made his decision, I won’t linger any longer,” Qin Jian said, standing up, ”I hope the dean keeps our conversation confidential and doesn’t disclose it recklessly. Also, thank you for your wise decision.”

After speaking, Qin Jian also left.

He quickly caught up with Ji Chuan, who was heading downstairs, and thanked him again.

”It’s nothing,” Ji Chuan said nonchalantly, ”helping you is helping myself.”

Having a precise and efficient manner, he wanted his assistant to be someone similar to himself.

Not someone like Ruan Fangfang.

Qin Jian got the answer he wanted and then left for the military.

Ji Chuan, holding the results, returned to General Surgery.

The moment he saw the doctor’s lounge door, he saw Ruan Fangfang sitting at the desk, propping her chin with her hands, lost in thought, her face radiating springtime happiness.

”Ruan Fangfang, come here,”

Ruan Fangfang was dreaming of pleasant things, picturing herself standing next to Ji Chuan as an assistant, skillfully cooperating in surgeries.

Thinking about how he would occasionally look up at her, Ruan Fangfang’s heart excitedly thumped.

While she was happy, she heard Ji Chuan calling her name from the doorway.

”Here,” she excitedly stood up, accidentally knocking a medical record book to the floor.

She quickly squatted down, clumsily gathering the records.

Ji Chuan glanced at her, his brow furrowed, ”How can you not change your rash habits? How will you ever become a doctor?”

Though it was a critique, to Ruan Fangfang’s ears it sounded more like concern.

She blushed silently and looked up, then slowly and lingeringly started tidying up the medical records on the floor.

Ji Chuan couldn’t stand it anymore, he pointed at Lei Linxuan and commanded, ”Come and help her tidy up.”

Lei Linxuan nodded and hurriedly came over to help Ruan Fangfang.

After everything was organized, Ji Chuan finally said to Ruan Fangfang, ”Come out with me.”

Thinking of being alone with Ji Chuan, Ruan Fangfang’s face grew even redder.

The heart of a young girl fluttered with excitement.

In the office, Ji Chuan gestured for her to sit down, then handed her the internship evaluation form, ”Take a look for yourself.”

Ruan Fangfang took the form, and after seeing the content, she was stunned as if struck by lightning.

”Director Ji, what is this supposed to mean?” Ruan Fangfang asked tremblingly.

”Can’t you see? This is the department head’s evaluation of you! The red text is the dean’s remarks,” Ji Chuan explained.
