Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 182: Chapter 182: This Is Personal Retribution

The students who witnessed such a loss of control were terrified, some stepping forward to break up the fight while others hurried to fetch a teacher.

At that moment, the class advisor, Teacher Mu, was in the director of education’s office discussing An Hao’s situation with great concern.

The students came rushing in, flustered, to report: ”Teacher Mu, it’s terrible! An Hao and Song Yueqin are fighting.”

”They are fighting?” Teacher Mu’s heart sank upon hearing this, and she quickly dashed toward the classroom.

Upon hearing that the two of them were fighting, Director Shi Jianjun was overjoyed, having been at a loss for a way to expel An Hao. Now, he finally had a handle on her.

Teacher Mu entered the classroom and saw Song Yueqin pinned underneath An Hao, being hit mercilessly, unable to fight back.

She stepped forward, pulling An Hao away, ”An Hao, stop hitting her! Stop it!”

An Hao, who was also tired from the fight, burst into tears the moment Teacher Mu pulled her up, ”Teacher Mu, I can’t get a major demerit... It will affect my college entrance exam.”

She couldn’t let the college entrance exam become her regret in both lives!

Teacher Mu understood An Hao very well. She was willful, yet a kind child, and her academic performance was excellent. Teacher Mu had always liked An Hao a lot.

Seeing her eyes red and struggling to hold back tears, Teacher Mu felt distressed and gently patted An Hao’s shoulder, ”Don’t worry, I won’t let you get a major demerit.”

Looking at Song Yueqin, her face had been slapped twice, and now her body bore countless slaps.

But the slaps on the body would only hurt temporarily, not leaving any lasting marks.

Her body, dirty and wet, had become like that of a mud monkey.

”Yueqin... you get up too...” Teacher Mu liked An Hao, but it wasn’t that she disliked Song Yueqin.

Seeing her pitiful state, she hurriedly instructed fellow students to help her up.

”Teacher Mu, An Hao hit me...” Song Yueqin never expected to be beaten by An Hao and was filled with grievances.

When had she ever been treated so miserably?

”Yueqin, let’s set this matter aside for the time being. I am your class advisor, and you should have come to me first to report any issue. Do you understand?” Bypassing her to go to the director of education was inappropriate.

While she was speaking, Director Shi Jianjun came down. Hearing what Teacher Mu said, he instantly scowled, ”What’s wrong with coming to me? Why can’t she come to me?”

No sooner had he spoken than An Hao lunged at him, grabbing his clothes and shouting, ”By what right are you eager to give me a major demerit? Have you even investigated? Do you realize that you could ruin me? You are using your position for revenge!”

”You are such a recalcitrant student. A major demerit is the least of it! I should expel you! And you still dream of the college entrance exam, huh? Let go of me!”

”Expulsion!” The mere mention of it drove An Hao to madness. Grabbing a book from the desk, she threw it at his head, shouting, ”Expulsion! I’ll show you expulsion! If I can’t take the college entrance exam, neither are you getting an easy time!”

”An Hao! Calm down, calm down!” Shen Zhihua saw that An Hao was losing control and quickly stepped forward to pull her back.

Teacher Mu intervened to separate the two as well, exerting great effort before finally managing to do so.

The commotion became so intense that it even alarmed the principal who had just returned from a meeting at the district education bureau.

He didn’t even return to his office before coming to deal with the situation.

”What on earth happened here?” Principal Lin was advanced in years with white at his temples. He commanded respect through virtue, and the students all held him in high esteem.

”Principal Lin, An Hao hit me... and she tore up all my books,” Song Yueqin said, standing out pitifully with tears streaming down her face.

Principal Lin looked at her, then turned his gaze to An Hao, ”You tell me, what happened here?”

”Principal Lin, would you believe anything I say?” An Hao asked with tearful eyes.
