Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 895: Force Tianguo

Feng Shen finally woke up with a heavy and dizzy head, especially after he was affected by the Cursed Demon Bell earlier. ʼDamn it! I didnʼt expect to be defeated by that bastard.ʼ

*Tap... Tap...*

Feng Shen turned to Feng Yao, who walked into the room. ”If you werenʼt blinded by your ambition and greed, you wouldnʼt have ended up like this.”

”What do you mean by that?” Feng Shen asked with a frown.

Feng Yao waved her hand, and a fire screen appeared before them, showing Zhang Feiʼs activities. ”The Divine Phoenix Totem was never in his or Feng Yichenʼs hands, and it was hiding in our sacred ground. It was so close to us, but none of us could feel its presence there. Legends arenʼt always true; the totem is different from what you think, and it merely serves as a vessel for the first fire phoenixʼs soul fragment.”

”The soul fragment of the first fire phoenix?”

Feng Yao nodded at him. ”The first fire phoenix promised the old ten-tailed fox to help his successor, and Zhang Fei was the chosen one to become his successor. The totem was destined to fall into his hands from the start, so no one could ever have it before.”

”How did Feng Yichen steal it in the past?”

”Donʼt you already know the answer?” Feng Shen raised an eyebrow for a moment before nodding to Feng Yao. ”After she stole the totem in the past, it decided to divide itself into several parts and hide in the statues of our ancestors. The totem immediately appeared when Zhang Fei entered, and the soul of the first fire phoenix began merging with his.”

Feng Yaoʼs explanation disappointed Feng Shen, especially since he was a pure fire phoenix, but the first fire phoenix actually chose someone from another mythical beast race to inherit his soul.

Feng Yao removed the fire screen and warned him. ”Get rid of your negative thoughts toward Zhang Fei, especially since your life is in his hands now.”

”Hmm?”

Feng Yao turned to leave without explaining. ”Oh! My parents and I will leave the upper realms for the Paradise Realm in a few days, and Zhang Fei will have full authority over our Phoenix Clan, so you and Feng Xueying will have to help him to take care of our members.”

After Feng Yao left, Feng Shen contacted Feng Tian and Feng Jiu, and both of them told him the same thing that their daughter said just now. ”What were they thinking? Why did they make such a decision without discussing it with me and Xueying first?”

Feng Shen got up and left the room, heading towards the sacred ground. When he arrived there, Feng Xueying stopped him and warned him that his life was in Zhang Feiʼs hands.

”Instead of blaming him, you should reflect on everything, especially since all of this happened because of your fault.” Feng Shen did not reply to Feng Xueying and continued to stare at Zhang Fei. ”For now, our duty is to protect our clan members, and we will go to the Paradise Realm with him in the future.”

Feng Shen finally turned to Feng Xueying. ”Are you sure he can take us to that realm?”

”Yes.” Feng Xueying gave him a nod. ”Zhang Fei is the only one who can do that, so you should stop being hostile toward him. Otherwise, you will miss out on your opportunity and incur losses.”

Feng Shen didnʼt say anything else and left , returning to his place in the sea of fire. However, Feng Xueying told him about Zhang Lingxue, who was training there, and asked him to guide her.

”Thank you for your help, Old Phoenix.” Zhang Fei opened his eyes and stood up before grabbing the totem, which had lost its luster. Even though the totem was no longer useful, he decided to keep it.

”What are your plans now?” Feng Xueying asked.

Zhang Fei directly explained some of his plans. ”Are you willing to help me take care of them? I can take care of them myself, but I will use force against them, especially since those two reported my presence in the upper realms to Tian Baixing and Tian Baitian.”

”Da Xiongmao and Da Feiyue are such idiots.” Feng Xueying then agreed to his request. ”Letʼs go to the Wasteland Realm first, and we will go to the Evergreen Spirit Haven after.”

Zhang Fei first summoned Feng Yichen out of the beast space before taking the two women to the Wasteland Realm.

.

.

.

The three of them had already arrived at the eastern island of the Wasteland Realm, and it was not difficult for them to find Tianguo, especially since the divine beast immediately appeared before them in his black fox form. ”Hahaha! I didnʼt expect you to be such a coward! You even brought an ice phoenix and a dark phoenix with you to subdue me.”

”Do you really think I need their help to subdue you?” Zhang Fei summoned the demon extermination sword, pointing it at the beast. ”I give you two choices: the easy way or the hard way. I donʼt have the patience to fight you, and you will suffer if you choose the hard way.”

”Let me beat up this arrogant but weak fox for you, master.” Feng Yichen said as she summoned her dark flame, causing Tianguo to shiver.

”No need.” Zhang Fei then asked Tianguo again. ”So, whatʼs your choice?”

”Hahaha!” Tianguo laughed loudly, and his body rapidly expanded, covering the entire Eastern Island and making the beasts on the island tremble in fear. ”Do you think Iʼm afraid of a weak fox like you?”

”Living tens of thousands of years on this island has made you senile.” Zhang Fei immediately moved to attack Tianguo as he used his enhanced condition ability.

However, Tianguoʼs eyes glowed red, and it forced Zhang Feiʼs soul out of his body, causing his illusions to disappear. The black fox intended to possess his soul, but its soul was immediately thrown back. ʼWhat the hell happened? Why canʼt I possess his soul?ʼ

”Haha.” Zhang Fei laughed after he put his soul back into his body. ”You look down on me too much! I am a soul cultivator, and my soul power is at the perfection stage of the heavenly soul level. Do you think you can possess my soul with your weak soul power level?”

Tianguo frowned at that; it knew that Zhang Fei was a soul cultivator because it had always monitored him when he lived in the Wasteland Realm, but his soul power level was beyond its expectations.

”Let me show you our differences.” Zhang Fei made several gestures with his hands, and his eyes gleamed. ”Submission.”

In that instant, Tianguoʼs eyes turned blank, and its soul left its body on its own, which shocked it. ”What did you do to me? Quickly! Release me!”

”Sealing.” Several soul chains quickly appeared and restrained Tianguoʼs soul. The black fox struggled to break them, but they chained its soul even tighter. Zhang Fei floated in front of the fox and touched its soul. ”I gave you a choice, but you chose the hard way! Whisper of Torture!”

”Arghhh!” Tianguo suddenly screamed loudly, experiencing causeless torment in its soul. ”Stop! Stop it!”

Zhang Fei just smiled and let Tianguo suffer first, but Feng Xueying approached him and asked. ”Are these Hun Diʼs soul techniques?”

”They are sub-techniques of the soul whisper art, and I learned it from one of my wives long ago. However, I hardly ever use them, especially since I prefer the simple way. This fox is too arrogant, so I want to torture it to weaken its soul first, and I will contract it by force after this.” Zhang Fei looked at Tianguo again. ”Mirage!”

”Arghhh!” Tianguo screamed louder and louder. ”Get away! Get away from me!”

”What happened to him now, Master?” Feng Yichen asked.

”Hehe.” Zhang Fei chuckled. ”Whisper of mirage will give its target the worst illusions, but I donʼt know what kind of illusion this fox saw that made it so scared like this.”

Feng Xueying and Feng Yichen shivered a little, thinking about Zhang Fei using that technique on them. They have lived for hundreds of thousands of years, and they have gone through so many things in their lives, but they themselves do not know what kind of thing they fear most in their lives.

After being tortured for quite some time, Tianguoʼs soul had shrunk far from its previous size as it had become extremely weak. Zhang Fei immediately canceled all his techniques and released the fox, but it kept staring at him arrogantly despite its weakened state.

Zhang Fei released his heavenly fox aura, pushed Tianguoʼs soul back into its body, and touched its forehead. ”Honestly, I donʼt want to do this to you, but I donʼt want to waste my time with you.”

”No! Stop!” Tianguo shouted as Zhang Fei pressed their foreheads together, and a black light appeared between them. ”Stop! I donʼt want to be a beast contract!”

”Too late.” Zhang Fei sent Tianguo into his beast space, turned to the two women, and opened the gate leading to the Evergreen Spirit Haven Realm. ”Letʼs go.”

As soon as they arrived in that realm, Zhang Fei, Feng Xueying, and Feng Yichen immediately released their auras. As they expected, Da Xiongmao, Da Feiyue, and several other powerful spirit races appeared before them.

They were shocked after they sensed Feng Xueying and Feng Yichenʼs cultivation. Da Xiongmao and Da Feiyue exchanged glances as they wondered about their arrival. ”What do you three mean by this?”

”Are you pretending to be unaware of our intentions, Da Xiongmao?” Zhang Fei asked as he created the Hellflame Frost Lotus, forcing all of them to move away, especially since the power of the lotus was still fresh in their minds. ”I already warned you not to look for trouble with me again, but you acted stupidly by telling Tian Baitian and Tian Baixing about my presence in the upper realms.”

”We—”

”Heh!” Zhang Fei asked Feng Yichen and Feng Xueying to restrict their movements.

”Shit!” Da Xiongmao and the others cursed themselves because the two womenʼs restrictions were too strong for them.

”Are you guys ready to die? If you hadnʼt committed such a foolish act, this day wouldnʼt have arrived.” Zhang Fei immediately launched the lotus toward them, but he did it very slowly.

”Stop! Please withdraw your technique!” Da Xiongmao shouted as his body trembled violently, as did Da Feiyue and the others. ”Stop! We admit defeat to you! We will follow you!”

Zhang Fei held the lotus and spoke to them. ”Give me a good reason to spare you for your stupid actions, or else I will kill you all, and I will enslave all your descendants.”

”We—” Da Xiongmao was confused about how to answer Zhang Fei. ”I have no problem being your slave, but please spare our descendants.”

Feng Xueying turned to Zhang Fei, who immediately dispelled the Hellflame Frost Lotus. He then floated in front of Da Xiongmao and Da Feiyu, touching their chests. ”Since it was the two of them who did it, I will only enslave the two of them. However, all of you should not think of making the same stupid mistake as them, or I will return to this realm and slaughter all of you, including your descendants.”

Zhang Feiʼs threat caused the natural races to tremble violently, and they nodded their heads repeatedly. Thereafter, he implanted his demon slave mark into the souls of Da Xiongmao and Da Feiyu, forcing them to become his slaves.

Da Xiongmaoʼs and Da Feiyuʼs faces turned deathly pale after they felt Zhang Feiʼs slave mark in their souls, making them regret their decision to tell Tian Baixing and Tian Baitian about him.

”If you are loyal to me, I will give you a chance to become better, but I will kill anyone who dares to betray me.” Zhang Fei then gave some orders to Da Xiongmao and Da Feiyu, and he asked them to prepare a building for him. ”After the building is ready, you can contact me, and I will open my alchemy shop in this realm.”

”Yes... yes... master.” Da Xiongmao replied with a trembling voice.

Thereafter, Zhang Fei sent Feng Yichen back to the training space before bringing Feng Xueying back to the Phoenix Realm.

Da Xiongmao pressed his chest with a gloomy expression. ”I didnʼt expect that he had two powerful beasts by his side, and their cultivation had already reached the 5-Moon Divine Ascension Realm.”

”One of them is an ice phoenix, but I donʼt recognize the other one.” Da Feiyu spoke in a bitter tone. ”What do we do now?”

”What else can we do? We are his slaves now, so we can only follow his orders.” Da Xiongmao then turned to the others. ”You guys must follow his orders, or you will suffer the same fate as us.”

All of them could only nod in agreement to Da Xiongmao, especially since he was the strongest among them, but he was helpless in front of Zhang Fei and the two women.

”Letʼs go back! We must prepare a building for him.” Da Xiongmao immediately led them back.

Although the sea of fire in the Phoenix Realm was quite useful for Zhang Lingxue to learn the techniques she got from the first fire phoenix, Zhang Fei felt that the comprehension feature in the training space was much better for her, so she brought her back there.

After they left, Feng Xueying returned to her icy lake and continued her seclusion, with Xian Lianghua and Xue Jingling cultivating by the side of it.

Upon arriving at the pavilion, Zhang Fei sent his fifth clone to the Natural Race Kingdom in the Seven Stars Realm because Zefyr had stayed there for too long, and she would be left behind by the others if she did not return to the training space.

However, Zefyr did not return alone, especially since Zhang Feiʼs fifth clone also brought Xin Xianzi with them. At first, he wanted to bring Xian Jinglan and her wolf with them, but she did not give him an answer because she had been drifting in her seclusion for the past few months.

”When did you get this pavilion? Why didnʼt I know about it?” Zefyr asked as she looked around the area.

”Haha.” Zhang Fei laughed softly. ”You were too busy in the fairy forest, and many things happened since you stayed there. You should focus on your cultivation now that youʼre back, and we wonʼt leave this place for a while.”

”Are we really going to do a long seclusion?” Xin Xianzi asked him, but she felt a little embarrassed seeing those naked women. ʼThis place is more like his harem kingdom! All his women are not even the slightest bit embarrassed to be naked.ʼ

”Yes.” Zhang Fei nodded at her. ”Trouble after trouble keeps coming to block our way, and our enemies are also getting stronger, so we canʼt keep wasting time. Moreover, I canʼt wait to go to the Paradise Realm; we will focus on ourselves and forget about the affairs of the outside world for a while. All right, you two can start cultivating now, and I will go meet the others first.”

After Zhang Fei left, Xin Xianzi and Zefyr found an empty place, far away from the women who were chatting naked in one area. They then began their cultivation, especially since they had too much fun in the fairy forest before.

Zhang Fei first went to see Tantai Lingyan, who was cultivating in her room. However, her room was sealed from the inside, preventing him from disturbing her. He then went to look for Xian Changyue, but she also sealed her room from the inside, especially since she knew that he would come to her sooner or later.
