Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 851: Ganged Up The Demons

Naelithʼs body was curvy and voluptuous, her face alluring with a slightly mischievous smile. Her eyes were a bright green, matched by her black and green hair. She wore a lacy green bra with a gold choker adorned on top, a sheer black thong, and fishnet stockings covering her lower body. Eight large, greenish-blue and black octopus-like tentacles extend from behind her, almost as if theyʼre part of her body.

”Itʼs me.” Balena wanted to approach Naelith, but Zhang Fei [1] suddenly grabbed her hand and pulled her behind him.

Zhang Fei [1] then released his aura to suppress Naelith and all the octopus demons in the place, forcing them to lie face down on the floor.

After all, all the demons in the Blue Water Realm were just ordinary demons and not demon cultivators like Balena, rendering them unable to move under the pressure of Zhang Fei [1]ʼs aura.

”Ugh!” Naelith and the octopus demons stared at Zhang Fei [1] in shock. ”Who... who are you? Why... why are you treating us like this?”

”Fei.”

”Do you believe me, Balena?”

”Yes.”

”If you believe me, leave this matter to me.” Zhang Fei [1] summoned the demon extermination sword, which immediately vibrated in joy. It couldnʼt wait to slaughter the demon, but he tightly held its hilt. ”Be patient, Heiʼan and Guangʼan. They are not evil demons, and they are controlled by those two demons.”

Balena immediately turned to Zhang Fei [1]. ”Are those two demons really controlling them?”

”Yes.” Zhang Fei [1] walked over to Naelith and crouched down beside her. ”Where are the two demons holding Balenaʼs parents captive? If you tell me now, I will free you from their control, but I will kill you if you dare lie to me.”

Naelith and the others trembled upon hearing Zhang Fei [1]ʼs threat, and they immediately told him the truth. ”They… they forced her parents and others to locate the entrance to the Sunken Empireʼs ruins! They... they also killed some of them, like Drake, Mistveil, and some others.”

”Hmm?” Zhang Fei [1] turned his head to Balena. ”Do you know about Drake and Mistveil?”

”Drake is a one-eyed shark fiend, and he used to be the leader of the opposition party. Mistveil, a serpent turtle, was once the leader of my family and othersʼ party. They were two of the strongest demons in this realm in the past, but I didnʼt expect the two demons to kill them.” Balena then asked Naelith. ”Where are Nyxxora, Sythrix, and the others?”

”They... they should be there along with your parents and the others.”

Balena nodded slightly. ”Can you free them from the control of the two demons, Fei?”

”Let me try it first.” Zhang Fei [1] immediately used the soul manipulation ability to forcefully pull their souls out of their bodies, and he found black marks inside their souls. ”As expected, one of the demons used slave marks against them, but his slave marks were too weak for the current me. However, the demon will immediately notice if I remove his slave marks from their souls, and he will come here directly, so I will send you back to the training space first.”

”Are you sure you can face the two demons on your own?”

”Haha.” Zhang Fei [1] chuckled in response. ”Balena, your husband is not an ordinary cultivator, okay? Chao Mojie and Mo Xieshen are strong, but Iʼm sure I can face them. Donʼt worry about me, and I will bring you back to this realm after I have dealt with them.”

”All right.”

Zhang Fei walked out of the training space at the same time as his first clone sent Balena in; he also summoned his second and third clones to help them deal with the two demons, especially since both of them were too powerful.

After they gathered, Zhang Fei and his three clones immediately removed the slave marks inside Naelithʼs and the othersʼ souls. ”Fortunately, my soul power has already been broken through to the intermediate stage of the heavenly soul level; otherwise, I wouldnʼt be able to remove the slave marks inside their souls, and they would die if I forcefully removed them.”

Zhang Fei hurriedly returned their souls into their bodies, but he immediately knocked them unconscious. Thereafter, he and his three clones left the underwater building and flew out of the ocean because fighting underwater would be troublesome, and his three clones immediately entered the invisible state.

”This is the first time I didnʼt get any quests in a demon realm, so this realm is useless for me.” As Zhang Fei expected, one of the demons immediately appeared in front of him. Based on the system scan, he is Mo Xieshen.

”Who the hell are you? Why are you interfering in my affairs by removing my slave marks from them?” Mo Xieshen was cautious because Zhang Fei was wearing the concealment ring given by Shang Yingyue, making the demons unable to detect his cultivation.

Zhang Fei responded to Mo Xieshen by slashing the demon extermination sword at him, and a crescent light Qi shot out from his sword, striking the demon directly.

Mo Xieshen was momentarily shocked to see a demon using the light element, but he effortlessly dispelled Zhang Feiʼs attack. ”Hahaha! I originally thought you were a powerful demon, but you turned out to be just a weakling who deliberately hid your cultivation by using a concealment artifact to deceive others.”

”Is that so?” Zhang Fei asked with a light smirk. ”Yu Xue and Huan Ying originally thought like you, but they looked down on me too much, and I absorbed them alive.”

”Bullshit!” Based on the power of his previous attack, Mo Xieshen did not believe that Zhang Fei could kill Yu Xue and Huan Ying, especially since both demonsʼ cultivation was at the 5-Moon Divine Ascendant Realm. ”I will kill you.”

”Guah!” Three powerful attacks suddenly struck Mo Xieshenʼs back at the same time, sending him flying towards Zhang Fei, who immediately thrust the demon extermination sword at him.

Mo Xieshen immediately grabbed the blade of the demon extermination sword to stop Zhang Feiʼs attack, but he made a fatal mistake in doing so. After all, the demon extermination sword was the sword that Xereth was looking for, and it was specially created to kill demons like him.

In that instant, the demon extermination sword absorbed Mo Xieshenʼs demon power, and Zhang Fei channeled his dark flames into the sword, burning his palm.

”Argh!” Mo Xieshen screamed in pain as he let go of the sword, but his palm became scorched and blistered. ʼWhat the fuck with his sword? How can it absorb my demon power? Moreover, where did the previous three attacks come from? All three are quite strong and contain light elements!ʼ

”Thinking too much in battle, arenʼt you?” Mo Xieshen turned back to attack him, but Zhang Fei quickly slashed the demon extermination sword, cutting his arm straight away.

*Splurt*

”Guah!” Mo Xieshen screamed in pain and flew away from Zhang Fei. He immediately pressed on his cut arm to stop the bleeding.

Zhang Feiʼs three clones, who were still in the invisible state, immediately attacked Mo Xieshen from behind. Three swords made of light elements pierced his back and chest, causing him to spurt black blood from his mouth.

*Splurt*

In a state of pain, Mo Xieshen was shocked by Zhang Fei, who suddenly teleported in front of him.

Zhang Fei slashed the demon extermination sword toward Mo Xieshenʼs neck, but the male demon suddenly disappeared, causing his attack to hit his afterimage.

Mo Xieshen reappeared behind Zhang Fei with his hand already transformed into a demon claw, and he thrust it toward his back, but his attack hit the illusion. ʼThis bastard! He has the same technique as me!ʼ

Zhang Fei reappeared a little far away in the air and looked at Mo Xieshen with a faint smile. ”Your ability is not bad, but you are too slow.”

*Splurt*

”You-Guah!” Mo Xieshen spat out a mouthful of black blood from his mouth again as the three swords made of light elements pierced his back. He immediately swung his remaining arm backward, but he hit empty air. More and more black blood flowed from his back and chest, especially after the three swords disappeared. ʼFuck! Who exactly were the three people who attacked me? How could they appear and disappear so quickly? If the situation continues like this, I will die at the hands of that little bastard.ʼ

Chao Mojie noticed Mo Xieshenʼs situation, and he immediately appeared by her side. ”What happened to you? How did your condition get this bad?”

”That bastard did this to me.” Mo Xieshen pointed at Zhang Fei, who was still standing in the air with a calm expression.

Chao Mojie looked at Zhang Fei, but he immediately noticed something unusual about the demon extermination sword in his hand. ”Crap! That kid is the person Fa Ling is referring to, and that black sword is the sword our lord is looking for.”

”What?” Mo Xieshen let out a low cry as he glared at the demon extermination sword. ”Are you sure that sword is the one our lord is looking for?”

”I canʼt be wrong! Heʼs not a demon, but a human! Letʼs attack him together!” Chao Mojie immediately released darkness from his body in order to limit Zhang Feiʼs vision, but he knew nothing about him or his abilities.

”Hellflame incantation.” Immediately, dark hell flames spread out, dispelling Chao Mojieʼs darkness, followed by four loud roars.

*Roar…*

Mo Xieshen and Chao Mojie were struck by fear and confusion, which was the effect of the demon kingʼs roar unleashed by Zhang Fei and his three clones.

”Damn it!” Chao Mojie and Mo Xieshen shook their heads vigorously to shake off their effects, but Zhang Fei immediately slashed the demon extermination sword at them. ”Move!”

Chao Mojie pushed Mo Xieshen to the side before he himself shifted to the side to avoid the incoming attack.

However, a bright white circle with many symbols had already appeared above them, and Zhang Fei immediately waved his hand down. ”Exorcismus!”

Countless light rays quickly rained down toward Chao Mojie and Mo Xieshen, but the two demons immediately countered them with their darkness. However, Zhang Feiʼs light element had already reached the peak stage, and he strengthened it using his light elemental law, making it extremely potent against darkness.

”Shit!” Chao Mojie and Mo Xieshen immediately fled as soon as their darkness disappeared, causing those light rays to plunge into the ocean.

Since Mo Xieshenʼs condition had weakened, Zhang Fei targeted him first, and his three clones surrounded Chao Mojie to prevent him from helping his friend.

”Guah!” Chao Mojie was instantly overwhelmed by the attacks of the three invisible clones. ”What the hell!”

Mo Xieshen decided to run away as soon as Zhang Fei flew toward him, but he didnʼt forget to contact Xereth, informing his lord about him and the demon extermination sword.

Zhang Fei deliberately let Mo Xieshen do that in order to preoccupy and confuse Xereth, and he would think twice about attacking the Xianjin Realm.

[Master, stop wasting time and capture that demon now.]

Zhang Fei gave a light nod and teleported behind Mo Xieshen, and he immediately used the Yin-Yang Absorbing Shackle to seal the demonʼs cultivation, causing him to panic.

”Shit!” Mo Xieshen cursed as he fell into the sky due to his sealed cultivation, but he made a last-ditch effort to attack Zhang Fei using his demon abilities.

Unfortunately, Zhang Feiʼs speed was simply too fast for Mo Xieshen, and he immediately chopped off his remaining arm.

*Slash*

”Guah!”

Zhang Fei directly grabbed Mo Xieshenʼs head and used all three of his absorption abilities at once. He directly absorbed the demonʼs cultivation, demon power, and life force.

”Argh!” Mo Xieshen groaned in pain as soon as Zhang Fei did that.

Chao Mojie, who was watching that from a distance, immediately flew toward them. However, Zhang Fei released the demon extermination sword from his hand, and the sword quickly shot towards the demon.

Chao Mojie suddenly took out a black chain and threw it toward the demon extermination sword to capture it. However, Zhang Fei [1] quickly came out of the invisible state and fended off the black chain using the moonlit whisper sword, shocking the male demon.

Feltia [2] also came out of the invisible state, grabbed the demon extermination sword, channeled his light qi into it, and slashed it toward Chao Mojie.

”Fuck!” Chao Mojie repelled Feltia [2]ʼs attack, but Zhang Xiaolong [3] appeared behind him with light sword Qi in his hand, and he thrust it at the demonʼs back directly. ”Guah!”

After Zhang Xiaolong [3] sealed Chao Mojieʼs cultivation using another Yin-Yang Absorbing Shackle, Feltia [2] quickly thrust the demon extermination sword into the demonʼs chest, and it penetrated all the way to his back.

*Splurt*

”Argh!” The demon extermination sword instantly absorbed Chao Mojieʼs demon power. ”Argh!”

”Hmm?” Zhang Fei looked back because there were many demons moving towards them at high speed, but he was not too worried about them. He immediately opened the portal to the training space, and five of his women quickly walked out of it.

Murong Qianying, Fei Qinyuan, Shang Yaolin, Xian Xianqin, Zhou Shenxin, and Yun Xinyue moved together to stop the demons from the Blue Water Realm. With their cultivation in the Seven Divine Realms, it was too easy for them to stop ordinary demons like them.

”Donʼt kill them.”

After they immobilized the demons from the Blue Water Realms, Murong Qianying and the others immediately moved to Zhang Feiʼs side, watching him absorb Mo Xieshen dry.

[You gained 30,000,000 demon essences from Mo Xieshen.]

[You gained 25,000,000 Qi from Mo Xieshen.]

[Congratulations! The hostʼs cultivation broke through to 3 Star Heaven Realm.]

*Rumble... Rumble...*

Quickly, the sky above them became dark with many lightning flashes up there. Zhang Fei immediately released the Yin-Yang Absorbing Shackle from Mo Xieshenʼs corpse, summoned Lei Que, and the two of them flew straight into the sky to face the lightning tribulation.

The demon extermination sword in Feltia [2]ʼs hand continued to absorb Chao Mojieʼs demon power. He and the other two clones wanted to absorb the demonʼs demon power and cultivation, but their main body was undergoing his lightning tribulation, and he didnʼt have the pill to stabilize his cultivation yet, so they didnʼt do so.

”Hey, Qianying! This kid hasnʼt broken through to the Heavenly Realm for long, right?” Fei Qinyuan inquired as she gazed up at the sky.

Murong Qianying nodded at her. ”Zhang Fei broke through to the 1-Star Heaven Realm about two weeks ago, and he broke through to the 2-Star three days ago. He was able to stabilize his cultivation quickly because Lin Jingxia gave him some Nine Revolutions Pills, so his breakthrough this time should be no problem.”

”This kid has gone mad! He used shortcuts to increase his cultivation too many times.” Fei Qinyuan then looked at Zhang Feiʼs three clones, but she could see they werenʼt doing anything, and only his sword was absorbing Chao Mojieʼs power. ”Will he also use that demon as a sacrifice to increase his strength?”

”I think so.” Murong Qianying nodded in response. ”Letʼs wait for his breakthrough to complete.”

In a few minutes, they could hear Zhang Feiʼs screams mixed with Lei Queʼs shrill screams from behind the clouds, indicating that his lightning tribulation had begun.

Meanwhile, Feltia [2] had already pulled the demon extermination sword out of Chao Mojieʼs body, especially since the sword was already satisfied absorbing his demon power. Despite this, the male demon was still alive; only he was in an extremely weak condition.

At the bottom of the sea, a giant beast lay in the ruins of the Sunken Empire. The Abyssal Leviathan Demon had long noticed Zhang Feiʼs presence and his battle with the two demons. It opened its giant eyes and looked towards the surface of the sea. ”Master, is he the person you were referring to back then? He was much weaker than the two demons, but he was able to defeat them, and he killed one of them.”
