Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 389: Leak Out

Tian Gongzhuʼs first destination was the Zhao Clan, especially since she heard from the townspeople that the clan was one of the major clans in the western region, but her visit was in vain since none of the main members of the clan were there. After all, Huan Ning and Zhou Yun were in the Netherworld Realm, and Zhao Ziqin was in the training space with Zhang Fei.

The clanʼs guards told Tian Gongzhu that Zhao Feng and Zhao Liang were in the demon cave, but they also told her that they had never seen or heard of any clan members having any relationship with Zhang Fei.

After that, Tian Gongzhu took the two moon foxes to the Ye Clan, but she did not meet Yan Huanʼer there, especially since Liu Qingyu had informed her that the heavenly foxes were looking for Zhang Fei, and they seemed to have malicious intentions towards him.

Yan Huanʼer decided to hide in Hua Luo, and the people from the demon fox group took her into a secret place, which was covered by a concealment formation, so that others would not detect her presence there.

Disappointed by that, Tian Gongzhu vented his wrath on the Ye Clan people, and she beat them up with the help of the two moon foxes, causing many of them to suffer serious injuries.

After that, Tian Gongzhu and the two moon foxes went to the Heavenly Sword Sect, but the gatekeepers blocked them from entering. They did it on Su Qingshiʼs orders because Liu Qingyu had also told her about those heavenly foxesʼ intentions.

Once again, Tian Gongzhu and the two moon foxes caused a riot by beating the gatekeepers black and blue, and they tried to break into the sect afterwards. However, they were blocked by the protective formation that protected the sect, and the formationʼs counterattack mechanism immediately activated itself, injuring Hu Hong and Hu Qianli.

Because of this, Tian Gongzhu, who was already furious, became even more furious. However, she realized that she would not be able to break into the sect by herself, so she decided to wait for her four seniors to return from other regions. She then sent the two moon foxes back to the inn before heading to the Gu Clan, the last major clan in Heavenly Sword City.

In fact, Liu Qingyu had also told Xing Mei to avoid those heavenly foxes, but she was still angry about her sonʼs death at the hands of Boitata, so she decided to wait for one of them to come to her.

”Did you come here to look for Zhang Fei?” Xing Mei immediately asked Tian Gongzhu as soon as she appeared in front of her.

”How did you know about that?” Xing Mei provided Tian Gongzhu with information about Zhang Fei, including his relationships with all the clans, which made her overjoyed. ”Why did you decide to tell me all that?”

”Zhang Feiʼs contract beast killed my son, but I donʼt have the ability to take revenge on her, especially since her cultivation has already been broken through to the Sovereign Realm, and she is also a divine beast.” Tian Gongzhu was a little surprised by Xing Meiʼs answer.

”I need help to defeat and kill Boitata, so I give you all the information, and I hope you can help me to avenge my sonʼs death.”

”Haha.” Tian Gongzhu laughed softly after hearing that. ”I personally have a grudge against Zhang Fei because he caused my brotherʼs death, so I want to kill him. As for his contract beast, I will ask my seniors to capture her and bring her to you later, so you can kill her with your own hands.”

”Thank you.”

After that, Tian Gongzhu immediately left the Gu Clan, and she informed her seniors about all the clans that had ties with Zhang Fei, so they rushed towards those clans.

Xing Mei smiled in relief that Tian Gongzhu was willing to help her capture Boitata, and she couldnʼt wait to kill her with her own hands. ”I donʼt like this kind of method, especially since it would ruin my relationship with Qingyu and Huanʼer. Unfortunately, I had no other choice, so I was forced to do it to take revenge for Zhanʼerʼs death.”

Unfortunately, Xing Mei still didnʼt realize that she had made a fatal mistake, and her decision today could potentially lead to a disastrous future for her.

After getting information from Tian Gongzhu, Tian Jiyuan immediately moved to the Southern Region and went directly to the Yin-Yang Pavilion. He immediately captured some members of the Shen Clan, causing a commotion in the sect. The remaining members of the clan tried to fight him, but their resistance resulted in a crushing defeat, causing all of them serious injuries.

Tian Jiyuan immediately interrogated them, but none of the Shen Clan members were willing to open their mouths, and they didnʼt care if he would torture them for it. Furthermore, none of them knew about Zhang Feiʼs training space, so they couldnʼt say anything about him either.

Since they kept acting like that, Tian Jiyuan really wanted to kill the members of the Shen Clan, but he remembered what his ancestors said, so he gave up his intention to kill them, and he immediately left the Yin-Yang Pavilion.

Even so, Tian Jiyuan did not leave Southern River City; he chose to wait in the city. He also kept monitoring the sect with his senses, just in case Zhang Fei suddenly appeared in the sect, so he could immediately move to capture him.

Unfortunately, Tian Jiyuan himself was unaware that there was someone else watching him from afar, and that person was none other than Elmyra, the elf race leader. ʼThe Heavenly Fox Race has always been arrogant, but his arrogance is in stark contrast to his actions; he even beat up people from the Shen Clan who were clearly weaker than him.ʼ

Meanwhile, Tian Dan had arrived in the Eastern Region, and he went straight to the Desolate Sect because Xing Mei suspected that Zhang Fei also had some connection with that sect, especially since he was the one who picked them up when they had a meeting with the moon fox race.

Sensing the horror of Tian Danʼs aura, the gatekeepers of the Desolate Sect invited him to enter their sect, and they led him to meet Lian Xiang, who served as the sectʼs caretaker.

Upon meeting her, Tian Dan immediately inquired about Zhang Fei, prompting Lian Xiang to explain their relationship to him. ”We know him and have met him before, but we donʼt have a deep relationship. In fact, he came here because one of the Pang Clan members infiltrated our sect, and he wanted to capture him.

After he succeeded in doing so, he immediately left and returned to the western region, and our second meeting was when he invited us to meet the moon fox race.”

”Pang Clan?”

”Yes.” Lian Xiang nodded to Tian Dan. ”Pang Clan is the arch enemy of all cultivators in this realm, particularly because they chose to become accomplices of the demons who invaded this realm in the past, causing suffering to countless people. In addition to that clan, the northern region is home to several other heretic clans, including the Xie, Mo, and Gui clans.

Over the years, they have been trying to break the seal on the demon portal in the demon cave, and they have become increasingly aggressive lately. Fortunately, we have Zhang Fei, and he has thwarted many of their plans, including destroying the clans that were defective to them.

He was also the one who came up with the idea of collaborating with the Moon Fox Race to fight those heretics, especially since they were the strongest in this realm.”

”I see.” Tian Dan nodded in understanding. ”Actually, I was sent here to look for Zhang Fei after he sent Pang De to our place, and my ancestors wanted to meet him. Unfortunately, I couldnʼt find him in the western region, and all the clans there didnʼt know about his whereabouts.

However, I heard that he previously came to this sect, and I thought you might know something about him, so I came here to look for him.”

Lian Xiang shook her head at Tian Dan. ”Unfortunately, we donʼt know Zhang Feiʼs whereabouts, so we canʼt help you with that. Moreover, that kid always comes and goes like a ghost, so I donʼt know when he will come here again.”

”Iʼll be leaving now, and I will look for Zhang Fei in another region.” After he said that, Tian Dan hurriedly left the Desolate Sect and returned to the western region, especially since Tian Gongzhu had already told them that she had encountered some trouble in the Heavenly Sword Sect, so he decided to go there.

Shortly after Tian Dan left, Hu Lili appeared at that place and let out a sigh of relief, especially since she was previously worried that he would notice her presence in the sect. Fortunately, her concealment artifact can disguise her aura neatly, so she didnʼt notice him, and she immediately turned to Lian Xiang.

”You did the right thing by not telling that man about Shi Xiʼs presence in the sect; otherwise, he would have captured her and used her to force Zhang Fei out, especially since I can feel malicious intentions from him.”

”We never had any problems with Zhang Fei, and he has also helped us a lot in dealing with those heretics. Moreover, Shi Xi is a good girl, but she is too weak, so I wonʼt do such a thing, especially since that will only harm her.” Lian Xiang then asked Hu Lili. ”Who exactly is that guy? Why does he seem so eager to find him?”

”That man is not human but a fox-beast.” Lian Xiang and Hu Lili immediately turned to the exit, and they saw Gang Jinshu leading two men, who were none other than Tanbar and Gravir, the leaders of the gnome and dwarf races.

”These two friends of mine got information from their friends in the western region about the arrival of the man and some of his friends, and one of those foxes caused a commotion in that region by beating up people from the Ye Clan.”

Both women frowned after hearing that, and Lian Xiang inquired. ”Why do they have to beat up innocent people? What is their real purpose in wanting to find Zhang Fei?”

”We donʼt know for sure what their real purpose is, but those foxes definitely have evil plans against Zhang Fei.” Lian Xiang looked increasingly confused by Tanbarʼs answer. ”Anyway, our friends got information that they previously chased him to another realm, and one of them died in that realm. They blamed him for his death, especially the female fox who made a scene in the western region.”

Gravir suddenly spoke to them. ”I just got news from a friend of ours in the southern region; one of them came to the Yin-Yang Sect and beat up the people from the Shen Clan. He is still in Southern River City now to monitor the sect.”

”Does that mean they already know about Zhang Feiʼs relationship with the Shen Clan? How did they find out about it?” Lian Xiang and Hu Lili frowned as they inquired.

Gravir let out a soft sigh before telling them. ”Sabina, the leader of the Dryad race, had been watching them through the trees in the city, and she overheard a woman from the Gu Clan talking to the female fox, so she must have told the other foxes about it. In addition, she also told her about Zhang Feiʼs relationship with the other clans, and two of them are going to the Central Region now.”

”Xing Mei?” Lian Xiang and Hu Lili immediately exchanged glances in surprise, and neither of them expected that he would sell Zhang Feiʼs relationship to those heavenly foxes.

However, Hu Lili suddenly remembered something. ”If I remember correctly, Boitata killed Xing Meiʼs son by swallowing him alive in front of her eyes, but she was too strong for her with her cultivation still in the earth realm, so she wanted to use those heavenly foxes to take revenge on Zhang Fei.”

”I see.” Lian Xiang answered with a heavy sigh. ”Unfortunately, Xing Mei had already made a blunder by doing that, and Zhang Fei would definitely be furious if he found out about this matter. I donʼt know what he would do to her if he found out about it, but Iʼm sure that she wonʼt end up well, and she will surely regret her decision for the rest of her life.”

”Thatʼs true.” Hu Lili nodded in agreement with Lian Xiang. ”Since it has happened, we can only wait for the outcome, and Xing Mei will only regret everything once Zhang Fei finds out about her actions.”

After that, Hu Lili immediately contacted Yang Yudie and Ziʼer, especially since she was sure that the two heavenly foxes would go to the Zhang Clan directly, and she told them to escape immediately because the two were much stronger than them.

”Anyway, why did natural races like you two suddenly come out of the western forest? Furthermore, you all seem to be on Zhang Feiʼs side, which has never happened before.” Lian Xiang looked at Gravir and Tanbar, her gaze filled with curiosity.

”Hahaha!” The two of them laughed upon hearing that. ”We canʼt tell you about it, but you are right that we are on Zhang Feiʼs side, and we will fully support him from behind.”

Their answers made Lian Xiang even more curious, and she then glanced at Gang Jinshu and Hu Lili, but both of them responded to her gaze with a shake of the head, especially since they knew nothing about Zhang Feiʼs relationship with the natural races.

After they received the information from Hu Lili, the two women from the Zhang Clan ordered the people from their clan to leave as soon as possible, and they immediately went to their clanʼs secret chamber.

While heading there, Yang Yudie immediately contacted Zhang Long to inform him of the matter. On the other hand, Ziʼer immediately activated all the protective formations in their clan, but she herself was not confident that they would be able to stop the two heavenly foxes.

”Has my father-in-law given you an answer?” Ziʼer asked Yang Yudie.

”Yes.” Yang Yudie replied with a nod. ”Your father immediately asked Feng Yao for help, and she will come here soon. However, I donʼt know whether she can make it in time or not, so we have to hold on for a while until she gets here.”
