Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 370: Tharnon And Ursula

The ancient demon had a strange and scary appearance, especially since its head was like a wild boar, two green eyes like emeralds, and two sharp fangs protruded from its mouth as they faced upwards. It has two black horns, similar to dragon horns, and two large wings, similar to bat wings.

Its humongous and black body was covered in scales like pangolin scales, but its hands and feet were similar to black phanter claws, and it also had a spiked tail that had a rounded tip like a club.

When the ancient demon beast appeared, Angela immediately hugged Virgilʼs arm and closed her eyes. Her expression looked frightened, especially since she herself was also a demon beast, but her race and bloodline were much weaker than it.

Although she felt frightened by the appearance of the ancient demon beast, Virgil maintained a calm expression, and she also enveloped Angela with her light power.

”Hahaha!” Oz laughed at the appearance of the ancient demon beast. ”This is the second time weʼve met, Tharnon. Back then, I was still very young, so I lost badly to you. However, Iʼm not the same person I used to be, and our demon ranks are equal now, so you wonʼt be able to toy with me like you did in the past.”

”What are you doing in my place, kiddo?” Tharnon then glanced at Virgil. ”A fallen winged race, huh? No wonder she has light power, and she has disturbed my rest by using her power in my nest.”

”All right, you donʼt have to scare her. I was the one who ordered her to use her light power, so you can fight me if you canʼt accept that.” Oz used his demonic force manipulation, causing Tharnon to frown in response. ”Anyway, I didnʼt come here looking for trouble with you; I just wanted to look for one of my missing aides.

I suspect the black Amaris kidnapped him, and this is the only place I can think of for her to hide him.”

”That little girl did bring the demon crab here, but I immediately chased her away. I donʼt know where she took him after that; you can meet her directly to find out about his whereabouts.” After hearing that, Oz and the two female demonsʼ expressions turned serious, but Tharnon then looked at Virgil once more with his green eyes shining brightly.

”This better be the first and last time you use your light power in my lair, or I will take you to the bottom, and you will never be able to see the light again.”

*Gulp*

Tharnonʼs threat made Virgil gulp hard, and she immediately nodded at him. ”If it werenʼt for necessity, I would never dare to use my light power in your lair, Senior.”

”Hey! I hope you can help us, especially since this concerns the Tian and Xian realms.” Tharnon immediately returned his gaze to Oz as he frowned. ”Your master vanished because of the winged race, but he should still be alive now. However, I donʼt know about his whereabouts, and Iʼm still trying to find out about it.”

”Are you sure that my master is still alive?” Tharnon, with doubt, asked.

”Yes.” Oz nodded to Tharnon. ”I heard about this from someone, and he got the information from one of the angels.”

”Humph!” Tharnon snorted at that. ”Those little birds canʼt be trusted, and they are much more evil than our demons. Naturally, I would be thrilled if my master were still alive, but you can forget about that, especially since he is just tricking you.”

Oz shook his head in response to Tharnonʼs words. ”Youʼre mistaken; the individual who provided the information wasnʼt a winged race, but rather a human. Furthermore, he possessed two other forms: a lust demon and a beast fox.

Initially, he came here only to save the dryads, but I detected his presence, so I immediately met him and asked him to cooperate with me, to which he agreed, and I have confidence in him.”

”I donʼt believe there is a living being who has three forms at once, and he must have used a special technique to disguise himself.” However, Tharnon frowned as he saw the seriousness in the second demon emperorʼs expression, and he then asked Oz. ”Where is he now? I wonʼt believe you until I see his three forms with my own eyes, so you can call him here to meet me.”

Oz then pointed towards the tower in the middle of the sub-realm. ”Unfortunately, Feltia canʼt meet you right now, especially since sheʼs infiltrating the Amaris Twinʼs tower, so you can go there to see her yourself.”

”He or she?” Tharnon appeared confused by that, especially since Oz mentioned Zhang Fei as both male and female.

”Hahaha!” Oz laughed before telling Tharnon. ”I forgot to tell you that Feltia is Zhang Feiʼs clone, and his clone is disguised as a succubus, especially since the twins donʼt like men. Anyway, the black Amaris still doesnʼt know that he is both a human and a fox beast, let alone his true identity.

Even so, the white Amaris already knows everything, but she canʼt say anything to her twin sister, so you have to be careful when talking to him, or you will ruin our plan.”

Without saying anything, Tharnon immediately disappeared from their sight. Virgil then turned towards the tower and asked Oz a question. ”Is it okay if you tell him about Zhang Fei and his clone?”

”Donʼt worry, everything will be fine.” Oz replied with a nod. ”Even though Tharnon has a scary appearance, and is also too fierce, he actually has the same character as the first demon lord, so you donʼt need to worry about that.”

Virgil nodded in understanding to Oz, but on the other hand, Angela looked towards the tower with a feeling of anxiety, and she was afraid that something would happen to Zhang Feiʼs clone, which would be disastrous for him.

”You donʼt need to be this worried, okay?” Angela turned to Oz. ”That kid isnʼt as weak as you think, and he has many abilities that even make me jealous of him. Because I knew he wouldnʼt believe us, I purposely told Tharnon about him. I hope he can convince him to help us, which will increase our chances of winning against those angels and prevent them from ever again invading our realm.

”I hope so.” Angela then clasped her hands together. ʼPlease be careful.ʼ

Virgil smiled faintly as she noticed that, and she rubbed Angelaʼs hand to calm her. ʼThis little girl seems to really like Zhang Fei.ʼ

[You gained 30,000 female essences from the white Amaris.]

The notificationʼs appearance made Feltia smile in satisfaction, but she suddenly raised her eyebrows after seeing the three female demons affected by something, causing them to fall into a deep sleep.

”Are you Zhang Fei?”

Feltia frowned and turned her head towards the window, and her expression became serious once she saw Tharnon standing there. Moreover, she could feel that his demon aura was as strong as Ozʼs and Zygosʼs, which made her wary of him. ʼScan him, Mei.ʼ

ʼWhat the hell? How could a demon beast like him fool the system?ʼ Feltia was completely shocked by that, especially since the system had no problem scanning Oz and Zygosʼ data, but it couldnʼt scan Tharnonʼs data.

[Master, this demon beast came from the direction of the Endless Death, and Oz was in that area with Virgil and Angela, so I think that he is the ancient demon beast that lives there.]

Feltia nodded in agreement to Mei before getting out of bed, and she immediately walked towards Tharnon as she wiped the white Amarisʼs sticky liquid that was left on her hand. ”I didnʼt expect an old demon like you to come to me, and you even know my true identity. Does this mean Oz has told you everything about me?”

”Oh?” Tharnon was surprised to see Feltia still able to act relaxed in front of him. ”That kid didnʼt lie to me, and you are indeed different from those weak humans. Is your succubus form also your true form?”

”Yes.” Feltia transformed into a human, a fox, and an incubus. Tharnon looked amazed to see her, but she immediately turned into a succubus again. ”Why did you come here? Did you want to capture me?”

”Hahaha.” Tharnon laughed at Feltiaʼs question. ”If I wanted to capture you, I would have done it a long time ago, okay? I came here just to make sure about your identities, especially since you are the only living creature who has three identities that I have ever met. Anyway, that kiddo told me that the first demon emperor is still alive; is that true?”

”Yes.” Feltia nodded to Tharnon. ”Back then, the white Amaris used an artifact given by Moraes to do something to the first demon emperor. However, the artifact didnʼt kill him but sent him to other realms randomly, so I donʼt know which realm he is in now.”

Tharnon immediately glanced behind Feltia, specifically focusing on the white Amaris, who had fallen asleep as a result of his ability. ”In the past, the first demon emperor loved them both very much, but I didnʼt expect that the white one would betray him by joining those weak birds. Has that kiddo done something to her?

He told me that she already knew about your true identity, but she couldnʼt tell anything to her twin sister, so I thought that way.”

”Yeah.” Feltia then directed her gaze towards the white Amaris. ”Oz has fused a bit of her soul with mine, so her life is tied to mine now. He has also placed restrictions on her, rendering her unable to reveal anything to his sister.”

”I see.” Tharnon nodded in understanding. ”Since thatʼs the case, I wonʼt do anything to her; you can take care of her yourself. What other information do you know, especially about those birds?”

Feltia once again turned to Tharnon, and she quickly touched his forehead, making him surprised by her speed. However, his expression changed slightly as quite a lot of memories popped out in his mind, and he looked at her in shock, especially since no demon had the ability to transfer memories like her; not even the first demon emperor could do it.

”Iʼve shared with you all the information I have, so you can see them for yourself. Anyway, it would be better if you cooperate with Oz, and you guys can work together to face those people, especially since I donʼt have a lot of time to continue to help with your problems with them.”

”All right.” Tharnon then canceled the ability he used to put the three female demons to sleep. ”Theyʼll wake up soon.”

Following that, Tharnon swiftly vanished from Feltiaʼs view, bringing a sense of relief to her. She then looked at the three female demons, but they were still sleeping, so she decided to do something else while waiting for them to wake up.

Meanwhile, Tharon has returned to Oz and the two female demon rulers, and he immediately agreed to join them, much to the relief of the three. After they discuss some other things, the second demon lord takes the two women away to look for Kinos in other areas, and the ancient demon beast immediately returns to the dark abyss before watching Feltiaʼs memories one by one. ”Hmm?

Those birds are indeed bastards! I will definitely destroy them with my own hands in the future, especially that throne!”

Asrhreth, Kyllia, and Nadea immediately stopped in their tracks as soon as they arrived at the throne room of the black castle, and their eyes looked at the female demon sitting on the throne in shock, especially since half of her body was white and the other half was black.

Moreover, their faces and appearances were completely similar to the Amaris Twins, making the three realize that she was their ancestor. However, they did not expect that she was still alive, and she had been living locked up in the black castle for tens of thousands of years.

”Haha.” The three female demons were shocked to hear her laughter, especially since her laughter was the laughter of two people. ”Are you three surprised to see us? Although we appear to be one person, we are actually two people, and we live in one body. You guys are right that we are their ancestors, and our name is Ursula.”

”How... how can you two still be alive?” Ashreth asked with a trembling voice. ”According to history, you two died tens of thousands of years ago, but you are both still alive now.”

”Ha ha.” Ursula chuckled upon hearing that. ”Little dark elf, you should know that the victors write history, and they can write as they please, so it is natural for you to think we are dead, even though in reality we are still alive and have been living in this place for that long.”

Unlike Ashreth and Nadea, Kyllia does not seem afraid of Ursula. ”Why not leave this ancient castle if you two are alive? Moreover, our twin rulers have tried to open the barrier many times, and they are your descendants, but you never let them in here.”

”Youʼre wrong about that, little gorgon.” Ursula suddenly moved in front of them, making them tense. ”Honestly, we have been asleep for a long time, only waking up a few days ago when we sensed the presence of an unusual man in front of our castle. However, he was already gone when we opened our eyes, so we chose to wait for him to come again.

In fact, he arrived just before you guys, and he sent that little siren away to another place.”

”What?” The three female demons screamed in shock. ”How could a man enter this sub-realm? Our rulers will surely detect his presence, and they will surely kill him.”

Ursula shrugged at them. ”We donʼt know them, and we donʼt care about them either.”

”Do you know where that man sent my daughter, Ancestors?” Nadea asked Ursula.
