Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 387: The Vampire Lord

Tian Wangzhi was shocked after listening to the voice transmission from Tian Gongzhu, but he himself was facing a difficult situation, and his body was covered in blood wounds, so he could not go to save her.

Several demons were ganging up on Tian Wangzhi, including several giant demon trees, which had been ordered by Arbeola earlier. Most of them were several times stronger than him, and some of them did not have the darkness element, so his light element was ineffective against them. Moreover, they were ordinary demons and not demon beasts, rendering his heavenly fox bloodline useless.

ʼWhatʼs really going on here? Iʼve hidden my aura perfectly, but these lowly demons can still detect my presence.ʼ

Those demons suddenly stopped attacking Tian Wangzhi, but they immediately cut off all his escape routes, making him think that they were planning something for him.

Tian Wangzhi secretly sent a voice transmission to Tian Jiyuan, but he still didnʼt know that his senior brother was trapped in the heart of the dead forest, so he did not give him a reply. ʼDamn it! Where did my senior brother go? Why didnʼt he answer me?ʼ

A tall and burly male demon with long black hair emerged from behind the group of demons, and his body was clad in pitch-black armor. Two black gautlets covered his arms, and black chains wrapped around them. He is quite handsome; he has two horns on his head, slanted eyes with red pupils, two black wings on his back, and a long tail with a sword tip behind his hips.

”Are you a beast-cultivator from another realm?”

”Hmm?” Tian Wangzhi was taken aback by the male demonʼs question.

”Haha.” The male demon laughed because his guess was right on target. ”It seems like you donʼt know anything about our realm, but you dared to infiltrate here. In fact, there were so many human cultivators and beast cultivators who had come to this realm in the past, so I could recognize your identity as a beast cultivator, and I came here specifically to capture you.

That way, I can use you as an offering to those mysterious people, and they will give me a big reward if I hand you over to them.”

”Keep dreaming!” Tian Wangzhi shouted at the male demon. ”I am not your opponent because you attacked me in a group, but I am not as stupid and weak as you think, and a lowly demon like you will never be able to capture me. Even if you do, my senior brother will save me, and he will slaughter you all.

Moreover, we are not just any beast race, and we have two ancestors who are greatly feared in the upper realms. If you harm me, they will undoubtedly become aware of it and immediately descend upon this realm to annihilate it; not even your demon emperor will be able to withstand their wraths.”

”Do you think Iʼm afraid of your threats?”

Tian Wangzhi fell into complete shock as soon as he heard the male demonʼs voice from behind, especially since the heavenly fox was one of the fastest living creatures, but a demon could surpass his speed to the point that he couldnʼt see his movements.

Unfortunately, Tian Wangzhi had misunderstood the male demon, and he actually didnʼt have such a high speed. However, he had some abilities that could make his opponents think that way, and his opponents did not realize that they had fallen for the effects of his abilities.

The male demon then grabbed Tian Wangzhiʼs shoulders, brought his face close to his neck, licked his neck, and whispered into his ear. ”Are you still unaware of your situation? Is there anyone who is afraid of your threats? You donʼt even realize that you have fallen into my hypnosis, and your mind is under my control.”

Tian Wangzhiʼs eyes trembled after he heard that, and all the demons in front of him instantly disappeared, which shocked him greatly, especially since he didnʼt know when the male demon used his abilities on him.

”Haha.” The male demon laughed at Tian Wangzhiʼs shock expression. ”Do you think we would allow human and beast cultivators to roam our realm? We may not be cultivators like you, but we arenʼt ordinary demons either, and we have many abilities that will affect you. You are too naive and arrogant, but you donʼt seem to have much knowledge about us demons.

Iʼve been using my hypnosis since I arrived at this place, but I didnʼt immediately make a move on you, especially since I wanted to confirm your true identity first. Anyway, my name is Elijah, and I am the vampire lord.”

After he said that, Elijah immediately bit his neck before injecting his blood into his body, causing Tian Wangzhi to groan in pain.

Unfortunately, Tian Wangzhi could not do anything to stop him, especially since Elijahʼs hypnosis effect was so strong on him that it had taken over his mind. Gradually, his light blue hair turned black, and his light blue eyes turned red, making his appearance similar to the vampire lord.

After Tian Wangzhi completely transformed into a demon, Elijah immediately stopped his actions and released his bite from her neck. ”Now that youʼve transformed into a vampire fox, your life is in my hands. Since you possess the light element, I think your race must hate demons like us very much, right? This way, you will never be able to return to your realm or summon your two ancestors, right?”

Tian Wangzhiʼs body trembled violently after Elijah said all that, and becoming a demon was the worst nightmare he had ever imagined. Just as the Vampire Lord had said, he would never be able to return to his realm after he became a demon, especially since his race and ancestors would kill him immediately.

”Hahahaha!” Elijah laughed loudly before undoing his hypnosis, bringing Tian Wangzhi back to his senses. He then spoke to the other demons. ”This fox is already my subordinate, so you guys can go back to your places, and I will take him to the Demon Emperor City.”

Without waiting for their answer, Elijah immediately grabbed Tian Wangzhiʼs shoulder, and the two of them immediately disappeared from the demonsʼ sight, so they immediately dispersed and returned to their respective places.

However, those demon trees immediately informed Arbeola about Elijahʼs actions, making him worried that Tian Wangzhi would leak everything about Zhang Xiaolong to the Demon Emperor, which would endanger him, so he informed him about the matter.

Zhang Xiaolong was naturally worried about the matter, so he immediately thought of some new plans as a precaution to deal with the dangers that might come his way. Therefore, he immediately monitored Elijahʼs movements from the map, so he could take quick action if the Demon Emperor found out about his presence in the realm, and he also prepared some things as countermeasures.

In addition, Zhang Xiaolong also informed the female demons about the matter, and he told them that he would send them back to the Diyu Realm if his worries came true, especially since none of them could match those high-ranking demons, let alone the Demon Emperor.

Ursula, Virgil, and Angela did not dare to take Zhang Xiaolongʼs explanation lightly, especially since he had many things he was still keeping secret from them, so they immediately agreed with his plan to send them back to the Diyu Realm if those high-ranking demons or the Demon Emperor came to them.

”Mhmm.” Tian Gongzhu, who was lying on the bed, groaned softly before slowly opening her eyes. She was shocked when she saw the room, and she immediately jumped down from the bed.

Tian Gongzhu felt relieved after carefully checking her body inside and out, especially since nothing happened to her, and she immediately went to the window side of the room to check the outside. She frowned immediately upon seeing so many wolf demons outside her room, recalling that they had surrounded her earlier. ʼIs this city their nest? Was their leader the one who brought me to this place?

Why didnʼt that person kill me right away?ʼ

”Finally awake?”

That question startled Tian Gongzhu, causing her to jump in shock before looking back. However, she was stunned as soon as she saw Alderʼs figure, especially considering that the other wolf demons were black, while he was white. Moreover, his face is quite handsome, and his body is really perfectly formed, including his abs.

In addition, she didnʼt smell any demon scent from his body, which confused her. ”Who are you? Why did you bring me here?”

”My name is Alder, and I am the leader of the wolf demon race.” Tian Gongzhu was a little surprised by his answer. ”Even though I look like this, Iʼm still a wolf demon, but Iʼm different from them, so you canʼt smell my demon scent.

I donʼt know what your purpose is in coming to this realm, but it is too dangerous for you and your companions, so I advise you to contact them and leave this realm as soon as possible. Otherwise, it will be too late if the high-ranking demons become aware of your presence, and they will immediately capture you all for use as an offering to those mysterious people.”

”Offering? Mysterious people?” Tian Gongzhu muttered softly while looking at Alder in confusion, but she felt relieved because he didnʼt seem to have any evil intentions towards her, or else he wouldnʼt have advised her like that.

Alder nodded to Tian Gongzhu. ”This realm is completely different compared to the past, and the current Demon Emperor is too ambitious to invade other realms, including the human and beast realms. Actually, it happened after the arrival of those mysterious people, and they helped him create the portals heading to other realms.

He has planned to continue his invasion until now, and those high-ranking demons are meeting with him in the Demon Emperor City.”

”Iʼve heard about the demon invasion from this realm, but it appears theyʼre only targeting lower realms, and one of them is the Sky Jade Realm.” Alder confirmed Tian Gongzhuʼs words with a nod. ”Arenʼt you also a high-ranking demon? Why donʼt you join them?”

”In fact, not all demons in this realm share the ambitions of the current Demon Emperor, including me, so I have no interest in joining them.” Tian Gongzhu seemed confused by Alderʼs answer, especially since there were so many demons trying to take over her home realm, and her ancestors always emphasized to them that all demons were evil creatures.

”To tell you the truth, I am not a native demon of this realm, and I fled my home realm because my leader kept using us to fulfill his ambitions, causing so many of our race to die as a result.”

”Does that mean you are a demon cultivator?” Alder did not hide it from Tian Gongzhu, especially since she was a beast cultivator, so she should be able to feel the flow of Qi in his body. ”At first, I didnʼt realize that, and I only realized it after facing you now. Furthermore, your cultivation is not low; you should have already reached the seven divine realms, right?”

”Thatʼs right.” Alder confirmed it with a nod. ”My cultivation has indeed broken through the seven divine realms, so the current demon emperor canʼt force me to join them, and those mysterious people dare not come to me directly.”

Tian Gongzhu nodded in understanding before asking Alder again. ”Can you tell me about your home realm?”

”My home realm is the Blackthorn Abyss Realm, which is very far from this realm. Moreover, my home realm is very remote, so you might not know about it.” Tian Gongzhu did not refute Alder because she had never heard of that realm, but she was sure that her seniors and ancestors must know something about it.

”Anyways, you have stayed in this realm for too long, and I can see that the demon aura in this realm is starting to affect you, so you should contact your friends and leave right away. Otherwise, all of you will turn into demons, which will only make you suffer.”

Tian Gongzhu nodded to Alder before contacting Tian Jiyuan, but he still did not give her a response, so she contacted Tian Wangzhi to ask about his current location. However, his answer shocked her, especially since he told her that she had fallen before Elijah, and he had turned him into a demon.

”What happened to you? Why is your expression like this?” Tian Gongzhu immediately told Alder about Tian Wangzhiʼs reply to him, as well as Tian Jianyuʼs disappearance. ”Since he has become a fox demon, you canʼt do anything to him, so you can forget about him, or your kin will kill him if he returns to your realm.

As for your senior brother, I will try to help you find him and ask him to leave this realm. However, I canʼt promise you that I will succeed in finding him, especially since there are countless demons and this realm is too vast.”

Tian Gongzhu let out a heavy sigh because of Tian Wangzhiʼs fate, and that made her even more furious towards Zhang Fei, especially since he was the one who lured them into going to the Netherworld Realm. ʼThat bastard! If he fell into my hands, Iʼd chop him into pieces! Because of his actions, my brother became a demon, and my senior brother also disappeared! Sigh!

I must report this to the two ancestors, so they can send other people to help me capture him, and they can also help me find my senior brother.ʼ

”You should stop thinking and leave right now.” Alder said that because Tian Gongzhu seemed to be hesitating.

”I know.” Tian Gongzhu answered Alder with a nod. ”Thank you. I hope you can find my senior brother, and I will return to our home realm to report everything to our ancestors.”

However, Alder immediately warned Tian Gongzhu. ”I donʼt know about your ancestorsʼ strengths, but you should tell them not to send any other members of your race to this realm, especially since Elijah will tell the Demon Emperor about you guys. Therefore, he will order his subordinates to monitor all areas in this realm, and those guys will definitely kill them.”

Tian Gongzhu nodded in understanding before opening the gate to the Heavenly Moon Realm, and she immediately disappeared into it. Alder, on the other hand, ordered those wolf demons to search for Tian Jiyuanʼs whereabouts, and he himself left the Black Moon City to look for him.
