Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 371: Oz And Ursula

Although they had heard Zhang Xiaolongʼs conversation with Nauvia, Ursula chose not to tell Nadea about her daughterʼs destination. ”We donʼt know anything about it; we only know that he opened a portal, allowing your daughter to leave this place.” (A/N: I purposefully used the pronouns ʼthey, we, them, or usʼ for Ursula, as she is two individuals in one body.)

Nadea looked disappointed after hearing Ursulaʼs answer, but she was also relieved that Nauvia did not go to the Endless Death, so she would not have to face the dangers of the ancient demon beast.

”Why did you two suddenly call us here, Ancestors?” Kyllia asked with a look full of doubt.

”Haha.” Ursula laughed softly before their black and white eyes lit up, and they immediately stretched out their hands, sending the three female demons flying into the air, panicking them.

Before they could question Ursula, a black and white aura enveloped the three female demons, and they sensed the two ancestors absorbing their demon power, causing their faces to quickly turn pale. ”The two of us have been sleeping for too long, so we need additional demon energy, and we will absorb yours.

However, you guys donʼt need to worry because we wonʼt kill you all, and you three will only be weakened for a while.”

”Argh!” Ashreth, Nadea, and Kyllia let out groans of pain as Ursula absorbs their demon power faster, and they also absorb their demon essences at the same time.

The three womenʼs screams only stopped some time later, and Ursula immediately let go of them after they were satisfied with absorbing everything. After that, they took Ashreth, Nadea, and Kyllia, who already looked very weak, out of the black castle.

The female demons waiting outside the castle were shocked to see the three in such conditions, but they were horrified once they saw Ursula, who was staring at them while licking her lips.

Ursula did not give them a chance to escape, and they immediately covered those female demons with their demon aura before absorbing their demon energy and essences, just as they did to Asreth and the others before.

Unlike what they did to Ashreth and the others, Ursula absorbed their demon power and essence dry, killing those female demons and leaving only their dry skeletons. ”Tch! These female demons are too weak for us, so we have to look for other demons to restore our strength.”

Ursula then throws Ashreth, Nadea, and Kyllia to the ground before disappearing from the death valley.

Kyllia, who was still able to maintain a bit of consciousness, immediately contacted the Amaris Twins to warn them about Ursula. However, neither of them responded to her, especially since they were still asleep due to the effects of Tharnonʼs ability earlier. ʼSigh! The situation would be very bad if the two ancestors were to run rampant in this sub-realm.ʼ

After that, Urusula went to the nearest demon city in the bright area, and they immediately absorbed the demon power and essence of the female demons living in that city, killing all of them.

However, Ursula was not satisfied with that, and they proceeded to several other demon cities before continuing their actions. This led to a rapid decrease in the population of female demons in the bright area, particularly because they killed all of them.

Oz and the two female rulers who sensed Ursulaʼs actions immediately confronted her, but Angela and Virgil were frightened after they sensed her demon rank was also at Emperor rank, like the second demon emperor and Tharnon.

”Ho?” The two ancestors were a little surprised when they saw Oz. ”So youʼre the current demon emperor, huh? Where is your predecessor? Is he dead?”

”I didnʼt expect you two to still be alive, Ursula,” Oz said as he glanced at Virgil and Angela, signaling them to leave. The two female demon rulers wasted no time and immediately fled at full speed.

Ursula frowned and wanted to chase after the two female demon rulers, but Oz immediately stopped them. ”You two better not touch them, or I will send you to your deaths.”

”Tch!” Ursula gritted their teeth in annoyance, especially since they realized that they wouldnʼt be able to fight Oz with their strength not yet fully restored.

”Anyway, my predecessor is still alive, but heʼs not in this realm right now.” Ozʼs answer momentarily stunned the two ancestors. ”Even though heʼs not here, itʼs not a big deal to me, and I can still beat you guys easily. However, I wonʼt do that, especially since our realm is facing great danger, so I still need help from many powerful demons to fight them.”

”Enemies? Great danger?” Ursula looked at Oz with a frown. ”Who are the enemies that dare to invade our realm with you here?”

”The strength of the people from the Tian and Xian realms has greatly increased compared to the past, and their numbers are also very large now, so I will not be able to face them by myself.” Ursula frowned at Ozʼs answer. ”You two will also suffer if our realm falls into their hands, so I hope you guys donʼt kill these female demons, especially since I need my armies to fight their armies.

Anyway, Tharnon has agreed to join me, so I want you guys to join us in order to protect our realms from those guys.”

”Fine! We will join you.” Ursula immediately accepted Ozʼs offer after thinking about it. ”However, we still need demon power and essence to restore our strength, so you better not hinder us from killing these female demons, or we wonʼt be able to help you fight them.”

Oz frowned for a moment after hearing that. ”In that case, you guys can go to the Avros, Tauri, or Leon sub-realms, especially since the demons living in them are much stronger than these female demons. The three of them are traitors to our realm, so go ahead and kill them.”

”Oh?” Ozʼs answer once again surprised Ursula. ”If you already knew that the three of them were traitors, why didnʼt you immediately eliminate them?”

Oz shook his head at Ursula before telling them. ”I still need them to lure out the people from the Tian Realm who are plotting with them, so I havenʼt killed them yet. However, after I successfully capture those three winged races, I will kill them immediately, and we might be able to find out the leaderʼs plan from the three of them.”

”I see.” Ursula nodded understandingly at Oz. ”We will go to Tauriʼs sub-realm now, and after that, we will go to the other two sub-realms.”

Without waiting for Ozʼs answer, Ursula immediately disappeared from his sight, making him feel a little relieved. He then looked towards the Amaris Twinʼs tower. ”Fortunately, they donʼt know about Feltiaʼs presence in that tower, or they would have gone there immediately to absorb her demon power and essence. Sigh!

Iʼve been looking everywhere for Kinos, but I still canʼt find him, so I hope she can help me find information about his whereabouts from the black Amaris.”

After that, Oz left the Amaris Twinʼs sub-realm to make sure that Ursula did not go after Angela and Virgil, and he also contacted Zygoz to protect the two female demon rulers from them.

Inside a palace, there was a man with a tall and large body, and his appearance was like that of a bull standing in front of a golden portal.

Furthermore, a man from the winged race, clad in white gold armor akin to Theo, stood before him. The man was none other than Zachiel, whom Moraes had assigned to initiate contact with Tauri the Taurus.

Tauri seemed surprised after the male winged race told him about some things, so he then asked Zachiel. ”How could the portal in the white Amarisʼs place be destroyed? There shouldnʼt be any other demon rulers who can destroy it, right?”

”I donʼt know what actually happened there because I never met the white Amaris in person, but Theo told us that another demon destroyed it, and he estimated that the demon power was on par with the second demon lord.” Tauri found it difficult to believe Zachielʼs last sentence, especially since he was certain that no other demon, including the other demon rulers, had the same power as Oz.

”My superior suspects that the little girl has betrayed us, so he wants you to investigate her, and you can contact me again after you find something about her.”

”All right.” Tauri immediately agreed with that. ”I will try to investigate the white Amaris as soon as possible, so you can go back there right now.” Zachiel nodded and turned to enter the portal, but he and Tauri suddenly felt the presence of a powerful demon in the sub-realm, and that demon was none other than Ursula.

Just like the other demon rulers, Tauri can also observe the entire area in his sub-realm very easily, and his expression turned to shock after he found Ursula in his sub-realm. ”Crap! I didnʼt expect those two to still be alive!”

”Who are those two demons?”

”Ursula! They are two demons in one body, and they are the Amaris Twinsʼ ancestors.” Tauriʼs answer caused Zachielʼs expression to turn serious. ”They have been around since the time of the first demon emperor, but they were badly injured when your ancestors and the people of the Xian realm invaded this realm for the first time.

In the past, we thought they were dead inside their black castle, but we couldnʼt be sure about their situation, especially since their castle was covered by a powerful barrier, so I didnʼt know if they were still alive. Anyway, their demon rank should have reached the Emperor rank, and their powers are supposed to be on par with Ozʼs, so youʼd better tell your higher-ups about them.”

Zachiel nodded in agreement with that. ”Perhaps those two were the ones who destroyed the portal in the white Amarisʼs area, so Iʼll go back now and report their presence to my higher-ups.”

After Zachiel entered the golden portal, Tauri immediately went to another area, and he also activated the barrier in his palace, especially since he felt afraid of Ursula.

Even so, Tauri continued to monitor Ursulaʼs movements, and he was completely shocked to see them killing demons in his sub-realm. ”Shit! I hope this barrier is strong enough to stop old demons like them! Otherwise, I will die in their hands, and my thousands of years of hard work will be in vain.

I have to find a way to contact Avros and Leon to tell them about those old demons, but I canʼt do it from my sub-realm, so I have to find a way to leave this place first. However, those two old demons will definitely detect my presence, and they will probably kill me immediately.”

Unfortunately, Tauriʼs fears were unfounded, as Ursula had no intention of attacking him, especially after their previous conversation with Oz, and they only wanted to use the demons in his sub-realm to restore their powers.

After they traveled for several days, the three female moon foxes arrived at the Heavenly Sword City, and they immediately headed to the Chu Clan to look for Zhang Fei. However, the three of them could not enter the clan, especially since Liu Qingyu had already activated the clanʼs barrier, and their cultivation was not enough to breach it.

They tried to call out to the clanʼs members, but none of them responded. Liu Qingyu, who was watching them from within the clan, was quite surprised by the arrival of the three.

After all, the moon fox race had never informed her and the others that they would send other representatives, and their cultivation level was too low to be their representatives, thus making their arrival suspicious to her.

Since Zhang Fei was in the training space, Liu Qingyu decided to contact Zhang Xiaolong and inform him about the arrival of the three female moon foxes. He asked her to monitor the three of them to ascertain their purpose in coming to the Chu Clan.

Since no one answered them, Hu Qianli then asked her two friends. ”What should we do now?”

”What else?” Hu Hong then pointed to an inn, which was not far from the Chu Clan. ”We canʼt possibly break into this clan, so we have no choice but to wait for Zhang Fei to come out of this clan on his own, and we will continue to monitor this clan from that inn.”

”Iʼm feeling tired after flying for so long, so we can go to that inn to rest, and I hope Zhang Fei will come out soon.” Hu Qianli and Hu Hong immediately walked towards the inn, but Hu Xiufu hesitated to follow them, causing the two to turn to her. ”What are you going to do? Are you going to keep waiting in front of the clan?”

”You guys can go to the inn first, and I will wait in this clan for some time before catching up with you two.” Hearing that, Hu Qianli and Hu Hong immediately left her, and Hu Xiufu repeatedly looked at the Chu Clan. ʼSigh! Why didnʼt any of them respond to us? Could it be that they are suspicious of our arrival?ʼ

Just as she was thinking about that, Hu Xiufu suddenly felt a strong pressure on her bloodline, which came from another direction, so she tried to find the source. However, a man suddenly appeared in front of her, and before she could react, he had already taken her away from the area.

Liu Qingyu, who witnessed it, immediately moved to the barierʼs side, and her expression became serious, especially since she was familiar with Zhang Feiʼs abilities. ”So that guy just now was the heavenly fox he told me about before? He also has the same teleportation ability as him.”

After that, Liu Qingyu once again contacted Zhang Xiaolong and told him about Tian Wangziʼs action of kidnapping Hu Xiufu. In response, he asked her not to leave the Chu Clan, particularly since it would be difficult for him to save her if she fell into his hands.
