Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 388: Back Up

After returning to the Heavenly Moon Realm, Tian Gongzhu immediately went to see Tian Baitian and Tian Baixing, and she reported to them everything related to Zhang Fei, including the Netherworld Realm.

However, the two ancestors were not surprised to hear Tian Gongzhuʼs report, especially since Tian Baixing had already learned about his three identities from Pang Deʼs memories, so it was natural that Zhang Fei could roam freely in the Netherworld Realm without being affected by the demon power in the realm.

Tian Baitian suddenly took out a fox statue, which caused Tian Gongzhuʼs expression to change to one of worry, especially since it belonged to Tian Wangzhi. However, she could not say anything, so she could only wait for her ancestorsʼ decision.

”Are you really going to do it?” Tian Baixing asked as she turned to Tian Baitian.

”Tian Wangzhi has turned into a fox demon, so he is no longer part of our race.

Moreover, we do not know the identities of the mysterious people behind the demons in the Netherworld Realm, and I am worried that they will get a lot of information about us from him, so I was forced to do it.” After he said that, Tian Baitian immediately smashed the fox statue into pieces, causing tears to flow from the corners of Tian Gongzhuʼs eyes, especially since it was the same as killing her brother.

”You can return to the Sky Jade Realm now, and I will choose some other people to meet you there later.”

”Yes, Ancestor.” Tian Gongzhu immediately left the place, filled with sadness and disappointment, especially since Tian Baitian had decided to kill Tian Wangzhi. ʼAll of this happened because of that bastard! I must try hard to find him and avenge my brotherʼs death!ʼ

After Tian Gongzhu left, Tian Baitian immediately asked Tian Baixing. ”Do you think we should listen to that wolf demonʼs advice? If I remember correctly, the demon cultivators in the Blackthorn Abyss Realm are truly powerful, and all of them have reached the Seven Divine Realms; even their leaderʼs strength is not inferior to ours.”

”Yes.” Tian Baixing responded by nodding. ”I think we should listen to him not to send our descendants to the Netherworld Realm, or they will die in vain at the hands of the demons in that realm. Even if we send those who have broken through to the Seven Divine Realm, it will only end badly for us, especially since those demons from the other demon realms are still targeting our realm.

Thatʼs why we canʼt afford to lose more of our members, and we should just send a few others to the Sky Jade Realm to wait for Zhang Fei there.”

”All right.” Tian Baitian then ordered some of those with cultivation in the quasi-divine realm to come to him, and he immediately sent them away to the Sky Jade Realm to catch up with Tian Gongzhu. ”I hope Zhang Fei doesnʼt die in that realm; otherwise, we wonʼt be able to obtain our ancestorʼs legacy, and we will never be able to evolve to ten-tails forever.”

Tian Baixing didnʼt say anything about it. ”What about Tian Jiyuan? Are you going to kill him too?”

”Hmm?” Tian Baitian raised his eyebrows momentarily in response. ”Regarding Tian Jiyuan, Iʼll wait for his fate first. However, I will not tolerate him turning into a fox demon, and I will also kill him if that happens.”

Tian Baixing nodded in understanding. ”Tian Jiyuan is one of the best of our younger generations, so I hope he will be able to escape from that realm and not turn into a fox demon, or his death will be a great loss for us.”

Elijah, who was on his way to the Demon Emperor City, stopped flying immediately, mainly because Tian Wangzhi suddenly died for no apparent reason. ”How could he suddenly die? Who killed him? Could it be his ancestors who killed him? How could they kill him without going into this realm?”

Unfortunately, Elijah was not a demon cultivator like Alder, so he had no knowledge of them, let alone their abilities. Feeling annoyed by that, he immediately crushed Tian Wangzhiʼs corpse into dust, but he still continued on his way to the Demon Emperor City. ”Tch!

Even if I didnʼt manage to bring him as an offering to those mysterious people, I still have to report this matter to the Demon Emperor so he can seek information about the beast cultivators from them. Moroever, Iʼm sure that they wonʼt stop here, and they might send other beast cultivators to this realm, so I can capture more in the future.”

Zhang Xiaolong, who had been monitoring Elijah and Tian Wangzhi, was relieved by the death of the heavenly fox. That way, the Demon Emperor would not be able to obtain any information about him, and he could train in the Netherworld Realm more peacefully. Moreover, Tian Gongzhu had also left the Netherworld Realm, so the burden on his heart was slightly lessened.

As for Tian Jiyuan, he found him still in the heart of the dead forest, but his name suddenly disappeared from his map. ʼAs expected, he managed to escape from that bewildering formation using his gate ability, and he must have returned to the Sky Jade Realm by now.ʼ

The appearance of the notification made Zhang Xiaolong sigh softly, especially since the day had changed again in the Netherworld Realm and the Sky Jade Realm, but he immediately included the quest because there was no Qi there, and his fourth clone could take care of that.

Zhang Xiaolong decided to end their training, especially since they had been training for quite a while and the female demons seemed to be getting overwhelmed fighting the stronger demon beasts. He then brought Ursula, Virgil, and Angela to Arbeolaʼs place again before leaving them there.

Zhang Xiaolong then returned to Lust City before returning to the Lust Inn, but he couldnʼt find Xenaya the succubus, and a maid told him that she had gone to the succubi tower to get some things. He then opened his map to look for Cain in the mansion north of the city, but he still hadnʼt returned there, so he went straight to his room and thought about his next plans.

[Master, that wolf king doesnʼt seem evil, and he even allowed Tian Gongzhu to leave, so I think you can go see him. That way, you can get a strong ally in this realm if you manage to get his support, especially since you still donʼt know Cainʼs character for sure, and he might not be willing to support you.]

Zhang Xiaolong nodded in agreement with Mei, but he still hadnʼt thought about meeting Alder, especially since the distance between Lust City and Black Moon City was simply too far, and he would need at least two weeks to arrive there.

Even if he continued to use his Nine Cloud Steps and swallow qi recovery pills, it still took him more than a week to get there, which would only be a waste of his time, so he decided to meet the wolf king in the future. ”Sigh, Iʼll wait for Cain to come back first, and Iʼll meet him straight after.”

After that, Zhang Xiaolong decided to rest first, and he asked Mei to monitor the situation in Lust City.

Tian Jiyuan, who had gathered with Tian Gongzhu, looked gloomy after he learned of Tian Wangzhiʼs fate. He was also furious after learning of his death, and he considered finding Zhang Fei as soon as possible to torture him. Unfortunately, he and his clones were still in their hiding place, so he couldnʼt do anything.

”What exactly happened to you, senior brother? I contacted you many times, but you didnʼt give me any answer.” Tian Gongzhu inquired in a frustrated tone, particularly because he believed Tian Jiyuan should have been able to save Tian Wangzhi.”

Tian Jiyuan let out a heavy sigh before telling Tian Gongzhu about his previous situation, causing her to frown. ”It seems that those demons were intentionally helping Zhang Fei, and they intentionally lured me into the heart of the forest, where I was trapped by the bewildering formation.

Moreover, I foolishly walked into their trap, and I only realized it after so long, so I didnʼt get any voice transmissions from you two. Since the demon aura in that realm started to affect me, I immediately returned to this realm, or I would have the same fate as Tian Wangzhi.

However, I had no idea that cultivators from the upper realms would assist demons from that realm, and they must have been so powerful that they could control the demon emperor of that realm. Fortunately, we didnʼt meet them, or we would have died in their hands.”

”Alder, the wolf king, did say that they were very strong, but they didnʼt dare to fight him.” Tian Gongzhu then told Tian Jiyuan again. ”Anyway, Ancestor Baitian said that he would send some people to this realm, and they might come soon.”

”Theyʼre here.” Tian Jiyuan said that as he looked towards the door of the room, and several heavenly foxes immediately entered the room. ”I didnʼt expect that our ancestor would send the three of you, Tian Cheng, Tian Dan, and Tian Jianxia.”

”Haha.” Tian Jianxia laughed softly before sitting down beside Tian Jiyuan, placing her right arm on his shoulder while speaking to him. ”Isnʼt this due to your failure? Ancestor Baixian sent you to help this foolish girl and her brother; however, Tian Wangzhi is dead because you foolishly led them into the demon realm.

Thatʼs why he sent the three of us to help you, but we have to move faster to find Zhang Fei, or he will run out of patience and punish us.”

Tian Gongzhu was furious hearing Tian Jianxiaʼs words, but she immediately swallowed her saliva when her senior sister glanced at her, especially since her cultivation was also in the quasi-divine realm like Tian Jiyuan. Moreover, not only her, but even her two newly arrived seniors also had cultivation equal to his.

Unlike Tian Gongzhu, Tian Jiyuan seemed indifferent to Tian Jixianʼs words, but Tian Dan suddenly said to him. ”Explain to us all the information you have obtained regarding Zhang Fei.”

Tian Jiyuan immediately explained to them all the information they had obtained about Zhang Fei, but they seemed surprised to hear that he could hide in the Netherworld Realm for so long. ”We suspected that he also had a demon bloodline, so I led them to that realm to look for him.

However, I didnʼt expect that he had a relationship with the demons there, and some of them deliberately lured me into their trap. Tian Gongzhu was luckier than Tian Wangzhi, especially since the demon who captured her had no malicious intentions, and he actually asked her to leave there so she could come back safely.”

”If Zhang Fei really has the demon bloodline in his body, then why are our ancestors so eager to get him?” They immediately turned to Tian Cheng. ”We all know that the two of them hate demons so much, and they always emphasize to us that demons are evil creatures who deserve to die.

Moreover, we had never heard of him before he sent Pang De to our realm, so I am confused by their orders to bring him there.”

”Itʼs useless for us to question their reasons, right?” Tian Jianxia said so with a shake of her head. ”Our ancestorsʼ orders are absolute, and they will punish us if we question them, so we can only follow their orders to find Zhang Fei as soon as possible and bring him to our realm.”

”Where can we find him?” Tian Cheng asked them all. ”Jiyuan and the others have been monitoring that clan for a few days, but they still havenʼt found any of their members, so I think Zhang Fei has hidden them somewhere in this realm. Moreover, he himself is hiding in the Netherworld Realm, and I will not take the risk of going to that realm, or I will suffer the same fate as Tian Wangzhi.”

Tian Dan then conveyed his idea to them. ”There are five of us and five regions in this realm, so I think we should split up and check out other regions. Since Zhang Fei is a heavenly fox like us, I believe he also has the same arrogance as us, and he may have done something in this realm.

Thatʼs why I donʼt believe that people in this realm donʼt know anything about him, and Iʼm sure there are other people who may have connections with him. Perhaps he told them about us, and they may have deliberately helped him hide those clan members from us.”

”I agree with you.” Tian Jianxia said that while nodding. ”Our ancestors forbade us from killing humans, but they didnʼt forbid us from doing anything else to them, right? Thatʼs why I think it would be better if we spread out to every region, and we will use all means to find Zhang Fei, including torturing humans in this realm.”

Unlike them Tian Jiyuan seemed reluctant to agree with Tian Jianxiaʼs plan, but Tian Gongzhu immediately agreed to it, especially since she really wanted to capture Zhang Fei, and they immediately spread out to each region.

As for Tian Gongzhu, she brought the two moon foxes, Hu Hong and Hu Qianli, to help him interrogate the people in the western region, especially the residents of Heavenly Sword City.

Sabina and Persix, who were overseeing the western region, immediately informed the other leaders of the natural races about the heavenly foxesʼ plan. That way, they could be prepared in case one of them came to them, but they had no intention of helping the humans, especially since their strength was still below that of the foxes, and they never liked humans.

In addition, Sabina decided to go back to the fairy forest to meet Lillea and Janette, and she told them to find a way to contact Zhang Fei. Unfortunately, they couldnʼt contact him, so they couldnʼt do anything but wait for him to come out on his own.”
