Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 366: Fighting Pang De

”How can you be so sure about that?” Zefyr responded by sticking out her tongue at Zhang Xiaolong, causing him to shake his head, but then he looked ahead. ”Heʼs here.”

*Swoosh*

In a matter of seconds, Pang De landed in front of them and began monitoring the forest area, particularly after noticing Zefyrʼs peculiar smile on Zhang Xiaolongʼs shoulder. Unfortunately, the artifacts used by the natural race leaders had extraordinary effects; not even Mei or the system map could detect their presence in the area.

”For such a young brat, I have to admit that you have a lot of guts, and you can even form relationships with those clans to ruin our plans. Moreover, you also have a powerful protector by your side, and that woman can even injure me by destroying my familiar. Unfortunately, you underestimate me too much, and I am no longer the same as before, so she wonʼt be able to save you from me.

However, I will not kill you and torture you slowly, allowing you to watch as we destroy those clans, and I will allow my clan members to enjoy the bodies of your wives before your eyes.”

”For such an old man, you talk too much, you know? Even my grandmother is much better than you, especially since she doesnʼt talk as much as you do.” Zhang Xialong then narrowed his eyes, which had turned blood-red, as he was furious because Pang De intended to do such things to his wives, and both of them shocked him.

”In fact, you were the one who underestimated me, and I donʼt need Boitataʼs help to fight you. You may have absorbed the demon miasma into your body, like Pang Zhen, but I can tell you that it will be useless against me.”

After he said that, Zhang Xiaolong immediately activated his other two bloodlines, and his appearance changed to that of his cultivation soul. He has two black horns on his head, two fairly large black wings on his back, and four incubus tails behind his hips. In addition, his arms and feet changed into fox claws, and white fur adorned his body, giving him a demihuman appearance.

ʼWhat the hell with this brat? What kind of creature is he? Although his body clearly resembles that of a human, he also possesses the characteristics of a demon and a fox.

Unlike Pang De, who was shocked after seeing Zhang Xiaolongʼs current form, Oliver and the leaders of the natural races, who were hiding around them, became excited after his three forms merged into one.

Soon, Zhang Xiaolongʼs body was surrounded by four auras at once: white representing light, black representing darkness, red representing fire, and green representing wind. His actions further shocked Pang De, and he immediately summoned the demon extermination sword before bringing Zefyr into an invisible state.

ʼShit!ʼ Pang De panicked upon seeing that, and he immediately transformed into his demon form before releasing the demon miasma from his body, shocking Zhang Xiaolong and the leaders of the natural races.

Unlike Pang Zhen, Pang De did not spread the demon miasma, and he instead gathered it around his body, acting as a shield to protect himself from Zhang Xiaolong.

Pang De then used his senses to search for Zhang Xiaolongʼs whereabouts, but he could not sense his presence and aura as long as he was in an invisible state. ʼDamn it! Who is this brat? How could he deceive my senses with his low cultivation? No wonder he was able to capture Pang Hong and Pang Gui, and he also managed to kill Pang Zhen.ʼ

”Anyway, you may not know it yet, but I wanted to tell you that Pang Liyuan is dead.” Pang De frowned after Zhang Xiaolong said that, but he still couldnʼt track his location. ”Do you want to know how he died? Your wife, Mo Xuanqing, killed him by absorbing his life essence. Oh!

One more thing: she was possessed by a female demon named Heltia, who was none other than the demon implanted in the fifth blood demon tree, and she also wants to absorb your wifeʼs soul.”

However, Pang Hong seemed unaffected by that, and he snorted at Zhang Xiaolong instead. ”Do you think you can disturb my mind by saying all of that? Moreover, my son is in a safe place, and no one knows that he has the darkness element, so you donʼt need to talk rubbish because I wonʼt fall for a childish trick.”

”Hahaha!” Zhang Xiaolong laughed out loud, making Pang De frown. ”What a foolish old man! Didnʼt you send Pang Liyuan to the desolate sect to take over that clan? I visited that sect a while ago, and I met your son there. He was indeed able to hide his identity from the people in the sect, but he couldnʼt trick me, so I enslaved him to watch over your clan.

Unfortunately, the situation changed with the demon possessing Mo Xuanqing, and he died at the hands of his own mother.”

After Zhang Xiaolongʼs statement, Pang Deʼs expression turned serious, especially when a giant demon claw suddenly appeared above him, and several shadows appeared around him, convincing him that Pang Liyuan had already fallen into his hands before.

”Heh! Do you believe me now?” Zhang Xiaolong asked Pang De with a sneer. ”I got the Shadow Abyss scripture and the Netherworld demon scripture from Pang Liyuan, and itʼs not difficult for me to master all the sub-techniques of those two techniques.”

*Boom*

”Bastard!” Pang De furiously shouted as his aura exploded after he confirmed the truth of Zhang Xiaolongʼs words from his clan members, and they told him that not only Pang Liyuan died at Mo Xuanqingʼs hands, but several others also died at her hands. ”Come out now! Otherwise, I will spread this demon miasma in that city, and the people there will die because of it.”

However, Pang De suddenly stiffened as soon as he sensed Zhang Xiaolongʼs murderous aura from behind him, and he didnʼt even realize that.

*Thrust*

Zhang Xiaolong had already stabbed the demon extermination sword, coated in his light qi, towards Pang De before he could turn around.

”Guah!” Pang De screamed in pain as Zhang Xiaolongʼs sword pierced through his body from behind, and his expression was one of disbelief, especially since he couldnʼt see his sword. Even so, he immediately spun in place to launch a counterattack, but his attack only hit empty air.

”Guah!” Pang De once again let out a groan of pain as Zhang Xiaolong pulled his sword out of his body, and he immediately slashed it across his back, leaving a deep slash wound there. ”Guah!” ʼDamn it! He can disappear, and his speed is so fast too. Moreover, this demon miasma canʼt protect me from his attack, especially since he uses the light element to attack me.ʼ

”Have you realized that you underestimated me too much?” Zhang Xiaolongʼs question inflamed Pang Deʼs anger even more. ”No matter what you do, you will never be able to defeat me.”

Oliver and the leaders of the natural races, who were watching from a distance, were amazed by Zhang Xiaolongʼs actions. They felt that their presence was unnecessary, especially since he should have been able to handle Pang De by himself with such abilities.

”Tch!” Pang De gritted his teeth before flying into the sky, but many tree roots immediately came out of the ground and tied his hands and feet.

Sabina, the leader of the Dryad race, was equally as shocked as Pang De, particularly because she hadnʼt given the order for those trees to move, prompting her to initiate communication with them.

The treesʼ answers to her shocked Sabina even more, especially since Zhang Xiaolong was the one who moved them using the tree control ability that he mimicked from Janette. ʼHow could he do that? Only my Dryad race has the ability to communicate and move them, but he can also do both.ʼ

Unfortunately, the tree roots were useless against Pang De, and he immediately destroyed them using his darkness sword, which was created from his darkness element.

Zhang Xiaolong did not stop there; he used the forest manipulation ability that he mimicked from Cassia. A small artificial forest surrounded Pang De in a matter of seconds, and the trees immediately attacked him with their trunks, branches, and roots.

As he repelled their attacks, Pang De further dispersed the demon miasma from his body and continued to slash with his darkness sword, causing the trees to die quickly. However, his expression became annoyed, especially since those trees kept regenerating, and they were truly endless. ʼFuck! This brat has so many weird techniques! He can even create a forest and regenerate these trees non-stop!

Even so, Iʼm sure that the amount of qi in his body is not much due to his low cultivation, and he will run out of qi if he continues to use these kinds of techniques.ʼ

The moment Pang De thought that, Zhang Xiaolong had already moved behind him again, and he immediately touched his back before using the demon-absorbing ability.

Unfortunately, Zhang Xiaolong couldnʼt do it for too long, especially since Pang De had also mastered that ability, so he immediately realized his actions and used that technique on him.

Zhang Xiaolong was forced to pull his hand back before moving to another area using his teleportation, and his eyes kept looking at Pang Hong, who was still fighting with those endless trees, as he muttered to himself. ʼTch! I forgot that he also mastered that technique, so I have to find another way to weaken him first. Otherwise, I wouldnʼt be able to force him to enter the gate.ʼ

Zefyr suddenly pulled Zhang Xiaolongʼs ear and whispered to him. ʼHey! How long are you going to play around with that evil guy? It would be much better if you opened the gate now, and my reinforcements will help you send him inside.ʼ

ʼReinforcements?ʼ Zhang Xiaolong turned to Zefyr with a confused look, especially since he had not noticed anyone else in the place before.

ʼHehe.ʼ Zefyr chuckled in response. ʼWe both have a contract, remember? Moreover, you have always treated me like your own family, so I canʼt possibly let you face that evil guy by yourself, and Iʼve contacted my grandfather for reinforcements. Thatʼs why you can open the gate now, so I can ask them to force him to enter that gate, and we can end this pointless game.ʼ

ʼHahaha!ʼ Zhang Xiaolong laughed and rubbed Zefyrʼs tiny head. ʼThank you for your help.ʼ

Since she had been listening to their conversation, Mei immediately opened a gate, which appeared a little away from Zhang Xiaolongʼs location. However, he, Zefyr, and the leaders of the nature races were shocked by the Qi flow coming out of the gate, especially since it was several times stronger and denser than the Qi flow in the Sky Jade Realm.

ʼContact them now, Zefyr!ʼ Zhang Xiaolong exclaimed softly as he saw Pang De notice the gateʼs presence, and he tried to escape from the artificial forest.

Wasting no time, Zefyr immediately contacted them, and several earth pillars immediately emerged from the ground as Tanbar activated the trap he had previously set, which immediately formed a fairly large dome of earth around them.

Following that, Gravir, the dwarf raceʼs leader, used his metal element to create numerous metal plates that appeared above the earth dome, strengthening it.

Sabina immediately ordered the trees in the western forest to attack Pang De, and they were stronger than the trees created by Zhang Xiaolong, especially since she used her wood element to strengthen them.

Not stopping there, Elmyra, the elf race leader, created a light bow before shooting several light arrows towards Pang De. On the other hand, Oliver summoned several wind pinwheels, and he threw them at the enemy as well.

*Swoosh*

Persix, the leader of the centaur race, swiftly shot a giant iron arrow from the western forest towards Pang De.

ʼWhat the fuck? Where did all these attacks come from? Moreover, most of these attacks are attacks from cultivators at the sovereign level!ʼ Pang De immediately took out several artifacts and threw them around him, and they formed a layered barrier to repel the attacks from the leaders of the natural race.

*Crack*

Persixʼs giant iron arrow instantly shattered those barriers, prompting Pang De to swiftly avoid its impact. Unfortunately, the arrow was really fast, and it still hit his left arm and shattered it, causing him to let out a curse accompanied by pain; even his blood drenched the ground beneath him. ”Argh! Fuck!”

Unfortunately, Pang Deʼs suffering didnʼt stop yet, especially since the attacks from the other leaders of natural races also hit his body at the same time, and he continued to groan in pain as his body became increasingly covered in wounds.

Without thinking twice, Pang De immediately took out healing pills and several other pills to stop the bleeding. However, Zhang Xiaolong immediately moved quickly and snatched them from his hands, and that was followed by several tree roots that wrapped around almost his whole body.

”Throw him at the gate!”

Hearing Zhang Xiaolongʼs shout, Sabina immediately ordered those trees to throw Pang De towards the gate, and his body quickly glided towards it. Even so, he did not give up easily, unleashing his full strength and using the demon miasma to attack it in hopes of destroying it.

*Swoosh... Swoosh...*

Unfortunately, a few iron arrows struck Pang De, piercing his back directly. A large green whirlwind then struck him from behind, sending him flying straight into the gate.

ʼClose the gate, Mei!ʼ Instantly, the gate disappeared after the AI executed Zhang Xiaolongʼs command, and he immediately breathed a sigh of relief. ʼFortunately, they all helped me, or I would have had a hard time sending him to that realm.ʼ
