Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 298: The wives Are Jealous

”Father, are you really going to hand my daughter over to the Ying Clan?” Chu Chongzi inquired as soon as he entered Chu Youqianʼs room, along with his wife.

Chu Liuxiang let out a soft sigh and turned to his son and daughter-in-law. ”Chongzhi and Yao Chi, I donʼt want to lie to you, and I find it difficult to make a decision, but I am considering handing Youqian over to the Ying Clan. Moreover, you can see that her condition is getting worse, and Iʼm not sure that Xuejun can cure her.

In addition, you two have heard for yourselves that the Liu Clan is protecting them, and Zhang Fei also has connections with the Zhang Clan, which is much stronger than the Liu or Shen Clans. Besides, Shen Haoran will be furious if he finds out that she is trying to set them against each other, and we wonʼt be able to do anything against such powerful opponents.

Even if we persist, Iʼm afraid theyʼll destroy our clan, which is why I considered doing that.

Chu Chongzhi and Yao Chi could understand her fatherʼs worries, but their hearts were heavy to hand over their daughter to the Ying Clan, especially since Chu Youqian was their only daughter.

Chu Liuxiang let out a soft sigh and patted their shoulders. ”You two are still young, and you may have more children in the future. However, I wonʼt decide right now, giving you ample time to consider your options before I make a final decision. I trust that you will make the best decision for the future of many people, particularly considering the potential harm to many if we become their enemies.”

After their father left, Yao Chi sat by her daughterʼs bedside, but she didnʼt dare touch her because Zhu Xuejun forbade her from doing so. ”What should we do now, husband? I knew our daughter was arrogant and jealous like her grandmother, but I didnʼt expect that she would do something so stupid, and now we have to face serious problems with several powerful clans.”

”What do you think about our fatherʼs plan?” Instead, Chu Chongzi questioned his wife, particularly because he was struggling to decide upon their daughter.

Yao Chi shook her head at him. ”I donʼt have the answer yet, and I want to think things over first.”

”All right, we still have a few days, so we donʼt need to rush into making a decision and think things over first.” Yao Chi simply nodded in response to her husband, and Chu Chongzi promptly left the room.

However, Wang Xiaoyi abruptly stopped Chu Chongzi, dragging her son to a quiet place before questioning him. ”Are you crazy? Are you also considering handing Youqian over to the Ying Clan?”

”Mother, you should have realized that we have no other choice, right? Since the matter has come to this, what else can we do to save her?” Chu Chongzi responded with a bitter smile. ”I certainly donʼt want Youqian to die, as she is my only daughter. However, the people involved in this matter are powerful; even you and my father were helpless under pressure from the woman named Boitata.

So I think that fighting them would result in excessive casualties, as well as the destruction of our eastern Chu and Wang clans.”

Upon hearing that, Wang Xiaoyi fell silent and racked her brains to find another solution to save Chu Youqian from death. ”What if I took her away from this clan and brought her to the northern region? I know that region is dangerous, but people from other regions wonʼt go there, so I think that region is the safest place for now.”

”Do you think Boitata will let you take my daughter away?” Wang Xiayoi raised her eyebrows at that, making Chu Chongzi sigh. ”Just like my father, I am also sure that woman is still watching us from somewhere else, and she wonʼt let you take Youqian away from this clan. Instead, your actions will cause a chain reaction, and she might attack us directly before destroying our clan.”

Wang Xiaoyi was truly frustrated with their situation, especially since all the paths they chose would only end in loss for them, so she left her son and went to see her husband.

However, Chu Liuxiang deliberately set up a formation in her room, making it impossible for Wang Xiaoyi to enter, and despite her persistent screams, he didnʼt even respond to her.

In the end, Wang Xiaoyi gave up and went to another room to rest, but she kept racking her brains to look for another way out.

After they returned to the Chu Clan, the Chu Sisters immediately joined the others in formation in the back garden. However, Chu Qing continued to circle around Zhang Chen and Tang Ziyu, not only because she was still shocked by their appearance after Zhang Fei sent them there yesterday but also because she felt jealous of their beauty and youthfulness.

Actually, Chu Ying and Zhang Feiʼs other wives were also jealous of them, but they did not express their feelings as openly as Chu Qing did, primarily because they were confident that their husband would never forget them.

Even senior women like Liu Qingyu and Liu Hua were not free from jealousy, but they were completely sure that he would give them the same pill later, so they just had to wait for him to come back.

Zhang Chen laughed softly at seeing her act like that, so she grabbed Chu Qing and rubbed her cheeks. ”You donʼt have to be jealous like this, okay? Feiʼer is still busy, but he will come back soon, and he will definitely give you the beauty retaining pill, so you will never grow old.”

”I also want to take the youthful returning pill, Grandma Chen.”

”Isnʼt that useless?” Zhang Chen asked him. ”Look at you—youʼre young and beautiful, so the youthful returning pill wonʼt have any effect on you.”

Chu Ying nodded in agreement with Zhang Chen before speaking to her little sister. ”Grandma Chen is right, Qingʼer. We are indeed still young, so we donʼt need the pill. However, the pill will definitely be useful for Sister Ru Xue and the others, and all of us will be equally young after they take the youthful returning pill.”

Chu Qing let out a soft sigh as she realized the truth of their words, and she immediately forgot about her desire to swallow the youthful returning pill. She then put her arm around Zhang Chenʼs shoulders and spoke to her. Dear Grandma Chen, youʼre so young now that Fei may be interested in you. You must be careful with him, or heʼll eat you.”

”Qingʼer!” Liu Hua and the others yelled at Chu Qing, who immediately shut her mouth in response to their shout.

In fact, Zhang Chen herself also had concerns about this in her heart, but she chose to believe that Zhang Fei would not have such thoughts towards her, especially since he had always loved and respected her.

”Feiʼer contacted me and asked you to buy the supplies for your shop on Earth, so you can go see the Wen Twins at Hua Lou, and they will help you buy everything.” Zhong Yan nodded in understanding at Liu Hua, who suddenly spoke to her.

”Ru Xue, the building that will be your clinic has been renovated, so you can check the place out now, and you can let me know if you need any adjustments to the building.”

”Thank you, Sister Hua. I will go with Zhong Yan to check out the building and buy some shop supplies now.”

After they left, Liu Hua asked Tang Ziyu. ”How do you feel after becoming a cultivator like us?”

”I feel great, Sister Hua.” Tang Ziyu replied with a smile, especially since she could feel the significant changes in her body after she became a cultivator. ”Honestly, I still feel like everything is a dream, especially since I never knew about cultivators, demons, or anything else before.

I didnʼt expect my life to change drastically after meeting Feiʼer, and I was also frightened when he showed me his incubus form for the first time. However, I feel really happy now, and I believe that my life will get better and better in the future.”

Liu Hua smiled after hearing that. ”Thatʼs for sure; Feiʼer will make all of us live happier lives in the future. Anyway, since your cultivation is the lowest among us, you should concentrate on cultivating in this formation for the time being. Once you dual-cultivate with our husband, your cultivation will significantly increase, especially since his cultivation is high enough to assist you.”

”Yes, Sister Hua.”

After that, Tang Ziyu and the others immediately started cultivating inside the qi gathering formation, and Liu Hua and Liu Qingyu left them.

However, the Liu Sisters smiled in amusement at seeing the two tigresses continue to chase after You Bai, but the wind weaselʼs movements were too fast for them. Even Jie Yuan, who was stronger than her, had difficulty catching up with her, especially when she used her wind abilities.

”Big Sis, this clan has become more lively with their presence.” Liu Qingyu nodded in agreement with her little sister, particularly considering that the Chu Clan only had a few members in the past. ”Do you think Chu Liuxiang will hand Chu Youqian over to the Ying Clan?”

”Yes.” Liu Qingyu answered her little sister confidently. ”My father-in-law isnʼt stupid, and he must have been fully aware of their situation, so he had no choice but to hand over Chu Youqian. On the contrary, Wang Xiaoyiʼs arrogance would definitely not allow him to give up just like that, so she must be thinking of a way to save her granddaughter.

However, Feiʼer must have ordered Boitata to keep an eye on her, and he would never let her take her granddaughter away.”

Unlike Liu Qingyu, Liu Hua understood Zhang Feiʼs character better, and she thought that her husband must have other plans for Wang Xiaoyi and Chu Youqian. ”Big Sis, that old woman attacked you before, and we both know Feiʼerʼs character. Moreover, Boitata must have told his clone about it, which means he also knows about it, and I think he might change his plans for them.”

After hearing that, Liu Qingyu raised her eyebrows for a moment. Although she was still not his woman completely due to her status as Chu Hongʼs wife, he already regarded her as his wife just like the others, and she then let out a soft sigh. ”I canʼt predict Feiʼerʼs plans for them next, but I think Wang Xiaoyi will suffer, and he may kill Chu Youqian.

Forget it; let him take care of the two of them, and Iʼm sure my father-in-law wonʼt think about it either.”

In her seclusion room, Shen Yu kept smiling to herself, and Shen Xueyi was helping her try on her wedding dress.

After all, her wedding with Shen Tianyu would be held in three days, and the entire area of the Yin-Yang Pavilion was already filled with the red accessories that were usually used as decorations for weddings; even the guests they had invited had also started to arrive and filled the guest area.

Unfortunately, the wedding that will take place in two days will not go well, and there is a big surprise waiting for the invited guests.

”Is Feiʼs wedding dress ready, mother?”

”Yes.” Shen Xueyi answered with a nod. ”Iʼve been preparing it for a few days, so we just need to wait for him to come back to try it on, and youʼll marry her in three days.”

”Hehe.” Shen Yu laughed happily as she imagined her marriage to her true love. ”Shen Tianyu hasnʼt yet woken up, so Shen Haoran will definitely use a substitute to replace his sonʼs position in our marriage. Unfortunately, he still doesnʼt fully understand the situation, and Zhang Fei will take action to replace him and marry me.

Shen Xueyi smiled sincerely as she listened to her daughterʼs joy. ”We will ensure your marriage to Zhang Fei goes smoothly, and we will immediately get rid of them once your wedding ceremony with him is over.”

”Yes.” Shen Yu nodded to her mother. ”Actually, Iʼm not worried about them, especially since Fei has already told me some of his plans, and no one can stop us from getting married.”

”Are you looking forward to dual-cultivating with him?” Shen Yuʼs face instantly turned red because of Shen Xueyiʼs question, and she shyly nodded at her mother. ”Do you want me to teach you how to satisfy Zhang Fei?”

”You are shameless, mother!” Shen Yu said it with a soft cry. ”Anyway, Iʼve seen him dual-cultivate with his other wives, and theyʼve also told me a lot about his preferences when dual-cultivating. However, I find some of it strange, especially when he does it with them through their back door, and I think it must be painful.”

”Thatʼs true.” Shen Xueyi nodded in agreement with her. ”In fact, I did the same thing with him during our first dual-cultivation, but he used his tail for that.” Fortunately, I was already too aroused at that time, so I didnʼt feel any pain, and instead I got the pleasure that I had never gotten when I dual-cultivated with your father in the past.”

Shen Yu raised her eyebrows as she stared at her mother in amazement, especially since Shen Xueyi had changed a lot after she dual-cultivated with Zhang Fei, and she was not even shy about telling her about their sexual activities.

Abruptly, two additional women entered the room, prompting Shen Xinya to ask her daughter a startling question. ”Have you really dual-cultivated with Zhang Fei, Xueyi?”
